WALKING ALONGSIDE A QUITE ROAD, ALINE WAITED FOR A SPECIFIC PERSON TO DRIVE BY. Entering into the quiet town, Kate Argent made her way in a silver Kia Soul. While she was driving she had her radio on listening to the now broadcasting news, but changed it when she heard what was happening in the town.

As predicted, Aline saw Kate making her way through the town at 2 almost 3 am in the morning. Knowing exactly what happened in the past, Aline decided to welcome Kate with a rather gruesome surprise.

While Kate was driving and listening to the music playing in her car, she failed to realize the giant beast with glaring red eyes running alongside her vehicle.

But being the trained hunter she was, her eyes wandered the road trying to catch anything out of the ordinary, but while she was doing this she did not happen to see the woman standing in the middle of the road till it was too late.

As she finally turned back around in her seat from checking her surroundings, Aline stood in front of her on going vehicle covered in burns with her white dress torn and charcoaled, she hardly looked recognizable.

Kate tried stopping her car but it was too late, she hit the burned woman but was puzzled when she realized she didn't hear the thud from the impact the woman would have caused.

She stopped her car abruptly and looked around, but she didn't see any signs of an injured person anywhere. This is when she began to feel eerie.

Though she had been listening to music a while ago, she turned it off when she felt like she was being watched. So why was she now hearing an old french song being sung in the dead of night.

She didn't see anything out on the roads, all she could hear was that singing voice.

Aline knew exactly what was about to happen while she had got Kate's heart racing; she knew Peter was about to make his move, so that led to her actually singing as a warning to Kate.

Not that she actually wanted to warn Kate on what was about to happen, it was that she actually had to; it was part of the orders she had while she was still in Beacon Hills.

While Kate was trying to locate the voice, she heard a thud on the roof of her car. That made alert and as she tried reaching for her gun in the back seat, suddenly a clawed hand bashed through her window and tried snatching her out of the car.

But Kate was a tough one, she didn't go down without a fight. Finally, reaching her shotgun in the back she fired a shot at the roof of her car wounding the beast and somersaulted out of the passenger side rolling onto the ground a getting up quickly serving her area armed and ready.

"Come on." she spoke, ready for anything. Firing a shot into the air, "Come on!" she yelled.

Seeing as nothing came her way, she made her way to the trunk of her car and exchanged her shotgun for an assault rifle and loaded one special bullet into the chamber.

Kate wasn't the only one out looking for the Alpha tonight.

Derek Hale, heard the commotion and followed the bloody trail of the Alpha trying to put an end to everything once a for all.

Seeing fresh blood on the ground, Derek knew the beast was near. Hearing a growl he spotted the Alpha making its way up onto a building and like a man looking for revenge, he chased after it.

While Derek was scaling buildings, following behind the Alpha. Kate was running through a dark alley aiming her rifle and while Derek was making his jump across the buildings Kate fired, hitting him right in the arm, wounding him.

Pleased with her shot, Kate collected her things just as her brother, Chris, pulled up to the scene.

Walking up to her, "Get in." he commanded. "Not even, "Hello, nice to see you"?"

"All I've got at the moment is, "Please put the assault rifle away before someone notices." Chris stated, looking around the area.

"That's the brother I love." Kate stated sarcastically. "Chris, there were two of them."

"Tha Alpha?"

"I don't know but one of them tried to kill me."

"One of them is gonna lead us to the other. He can't do that if he's dead."

"Well, I can't help kill either of them if one of them kills me first." Kate justified.

"How long will it take?"

"I'd give him 48 hours, if that." Kate said, before walking to Chris's SUV.

While Chris was thinking about all of the information he just received, something in his peripheral vision caught his attention.

Turning to see what it was, he stared straight into Aline's eyes, getting the message loud and clear that he needed to leave right away.

Watching the Argent's leave, Aline made her way over to Derek knowing he was wounded.

As he was looking down at his arm seeing the blue smoke seep out of his wound, Aline decided now is when she wanted to speak up.

"That looks like a nasty wound, didn't your mom teach you not to sneak out at night." she joked.

Because Derek was into too much pain, he could hold his glare at her.

Deciding to help the grown beta out a bit, steadied herself making every molecule in her ghost of a body come together to form a solid and placed her hand on his shoulder absorbing some of the pain, but she knew she couldn't do much because this type of bullet needed the right wolfsbane for the cure.

Looking up feeling a bit better, he saw Aline's eyes still glowing white, as she took his pain away. Then they faded back to their regular brown.

Since everything that happened in Derek's life, he wasn't one to actually say 'thank you' now, but seeing the look on his face after she finished taking some of his pain away she just nodded her head telling him she understood what he tried to say.

Helping him up, they both made their way back to the Hale house.

While everyone was in their classes or in the hallway going to their classes Derek and Aline were walking down the hallway. Derek walked much slower than Aline because of his injury but that didn't stop him from trying to find Scott.

Walking with his head held down, Derek was bumped by other students because of his very slow walking. All of which made Aline laugh slightly seeing the injured wolf get annoyed with the puberty infused teenagers.

Catching a similar scent in the hallway, Derek straightened up and headed over towards Jackson, who was correctly putting things in his locker. Aline followed right behind, not saying a word just letting everything play out.

"Where's Scott McCall?"

Catching his attention, Jackson turned to see a very pale man asking for a person he didn't happen to like.

"Why should I tell you?"

"Because I asked you politely, and I only do that once."

"Hmm, okay tough guy. How about I help you find him once you tell me what you're selling him?" Jackson bargained without question.

Aline silently laughed at the two, to be honest she found Jackson funny. She knew exactly what lied beneath the surface and why he treated everyone like he did, and for that she felt sorry for the boy.

"What is it? Is it Dianabol, hmm. HGH."

Listening to the boy Derek finally figured out what he was accusing him of, "Steroids?"

"No, girl scout cookies. What the hell do you think I'm talking about. Oh, and by the way, whatever it is you're selling, I'd stop sampling the merchandise, you look wrecked."

And that was all it took to make Aline laugh out loud, which made Derk turn around and glare at her, but she just shrugged him off.

Derek's attention then turned to the blood running down his arm and dripping onto the floor. "I'll find him myself." Derek responded, walking off.

When Jackson decided to grab him, "No, we're not done here."

That was a bad move, and even Aline knew that. Derek wasn't one who liked to be touched without warning and it was even worse because he was under the weather.

So as Jackson began to make Derek face him again, Derek grabbed his arm and the back of his neck and shoved him onto the lockers.

Feeling the rage course through him, he knew he had lost control, removing his hand from the back of Jackson's neck he noticed his claws had breached his skin, with that he took off down the hall.

Though Aline decided to stay back a little while longer, "Nightmare that you'll view in your dreams, you'll figure out what that means." she stated looking at the boy who was clutching the back of his neck. Then with that she took off down the hall to follow Derek.

Seeing him lean against a wall she knew, he was now listening into Allison and Lydia's conversation. Which she thought was not only a total invasion of privacy, but also really creepy but she knew everything had to work out this way so she couldn't stop him even if she wanted to.

Before Derek could hear the last of the girls' conversation, the school bell rang and startled him as his hearing was sensitive.

"Come on, Snow White let's go find the boys." Aline said as they exited the school.

Stiles Stilinski had just now exited the school, as he was now done for the day. Getting into his blue jeep he reversed, then put his car into drive about to exit the school premises when Derek Hale and Aline, stood in front of his moving vehicle, causing him to stop hard on his brakes.

Scott McCall, who was at the bike rack heard a lot of commotion and cars honking, so as he looked over his eyes caught Derek wavering from side to side.

"No, no, no, no. Not here." he wished, running over to him.

In his car, "You gotta be kidding me. They're everywhere." Stiles muttered watching Derek fall over.

"What the hell? What are you doing here?" Scott asked, crouching down to Derek's level.

"Isn't it obvious we stopped by to see how your day was going." Aline joked, with a straight face.

Ignoring what the woman just said, "I was shot." Derek stated.

"He's not looking so good dude." Stiles stated the obvious.

"Why aren't you healing?"

"He would if he could." Aline muttered.

"I can't, it was a different kind of bullet."

"A silver bullet?" Stiles, intriguingly asked.

"No, you idiot." Aline and Derek said at the same time.

"Wait, wait. That's what she meant when she said you had 48 hours." Scott said, remembering what he heard the night he was called by the Alpha.

"What? Who said 48 hours?"

"An old "friend" of yours Derek."

"Whoever that may be, but they're the one who shot you." Scott informed the sickly looking wolf.

Derek's control then started to go haywire, with his eyes starting to flash a bright blue then returning to green then turning blue again.

Scott panicked looking around him, "What are you doing? Stop that."

"Again, he would if he could." Aline stated.

"That's what I'm trying to tell you, I can't."

Putting a hand on his shoulder Scott looked Derek in the eye. "Derek, get up."

Seeing as Derek still wasn't moving Scott helped him up, and put him into Stiles' jeep.

"I need you to find out what kind of bullet they used." Derek semi–asked and told Scott.

"How the hell am I supposed to do that?"

"She's an Argent, she's with them."

"Why should I help you?"

"Because you need me."

"Look kid, as much as you don't like Derek right now, he's a key part of your survival that much I can tell you." Aline stated, from the backseat of Stiles Jeep.

"Fine, I'll try. Get him out of here."

"I hate you for this so much."

"Don't worry Stiles, this isn't when you're going to want to kill Scott, wait until the near future." Aline stated, with a slight smirk forming on her lips.

"Then again it might not even be you."

Scott and Stiles just looked at her oddly then Stiles took off in his Jeep down the road.

I'm finally back, I had a lot of things to do over the weekdays but my schedule is getting back on track now :)
