He walked down the empty hallways. He was always told never to go down here, but what else could he do? His mother was out, and his sister, Julia, was hiding somewhere. They were playing hide and seek like they always did when their mother was at the bar. He had searched up and down the main building. 

He saw a door ajar, so he took a few steps closer to it. He wearily pushed down the door with a few of his fingers. It was a desolate room with a bed in the middle of the room, its stained mattress almost on the floor.  That's when Phillip heard the breathing. 

Also have decent grammar, if I can figure out what you said with minimal - to medium brain power that's good.

I do have triggers and they're self harm and S/A. The self harm one doesn't bother me some days other days it does so just be safe and add trigger warnings.
