━━━━ hollyhock had to witness the death of his father, a tom who he never knew and only heard horrible stories about, when he jumped the fence in search of daisy and the kits - wanting to take them
back to his clan. he was mauled by the dog ,

━━━━ daisy eventually gave up with caring for hollyhock. he wasn't a kitten anymore, and didn't rely on her for milk. she walked him away from their garden and abandoned him on the clan's territory where he was later found and picked up by a patrol, he stayed in the medicine den for a few nights before being given his apprentice name ,
