hwa hyuna ( hangul : 화 현아 ); born January 26, 1988, also known by her stage names, yuyu ( 2003-2006 ), and yuna ( 2007-2014 ), is a South Korean singer-songwriter, rapper, record producer, record executive, and model. hyuna quickly rose to fame after her debut in 2003 with black blossom. in 2006, black blossom disbanded due to mistreatment. hyuna then joined 2u in 2007. after seven years, the group disbanded and she went on to become a solo artist. her debut album soared charts and broke records. hwa hyuna is now known as the ceo of wonderland entertainment ( 2020-current ).
