When I asked to watch one of your volleyball games for the first time, you got so excited. It made me really happy. That day I swore to myself that I would come to every single game I could just so I could see that look on your face again.

His indigo eyes had scanned the bleachers as he had stretched. He had seen you sitting among the other members of the audience that day, a smile had been on your pretty face. Kageyama had felt his heart swell. He had been so proud to finally have someone there to support him and cheer him on.

There had been Yachi, some alumni, and maybe other Karasuno students. But you were different, you had been there just for him. With you in the stands, Kageyama had felt he needed to play twice as good.

I was on the edge of my seat the entire match. I am every time. I could tell by the way you played you were trying to impress me. It broke my heart when you boys lost that game.

The players had cleared the gym, and you had struggled to find Kageyama in the mass of individuals. You had decided to wait outside, only to find Kageyama standing in a patch of grass in the parking lot. His fingers had been laced together and resting on the back of his neck, his eyes had been glued to the dirt under his feet. You had made your way over to him, but he had been lost in his own little world.

I knew you were, but you didn't look very sad. You were probably replaying the events of the match on repeat in your head, trying to figure out what went wrong. You have always been so dedicated.

"Kageyama," You had called out to him. "It was so cool to watch you play, you did amazing!" Kageyama had looked at you, his expression had been difficult to read.

"Thanks," He had mumbled, you had barely been able to hear him. "I would've liked it more if you saw us win." You had given the boy a kind smile.

"Win or lose, I love watching you play," You had told him sincerely. "I'll support you no matter what."

When I told you that, I meant it. I'll always support you, no matter what. You know that, right?

Tobio felt something warm in his chest. That was always something he loved about you; you were so supportive. You always told him to go after whatever he wanted. You were right there by his side through it all, you have been since your second year of high school.

Your letters meant the world to him. It was wonderful to relive all these memories from the perspective of the one he shared them with. Thinking about this made him miss you.
