I was a little frightened the first time you got jealous. You were pretty scary, you know. But I expected nothing less from my Tobio.

His heart rate had picked up, jaw had locked, and fists had clenched. Kageyama questioned why a first-year would be talking to you for. The first-year had a stupid smirk on his face as you had laughed at something he had said. You had been enjoying the brief interaction, but you had suddenly felt someone's firm arm around your shoulders.

If looks could kill, Kageyama would have been a murderer. You had watched the first-year's expression contort in fear. He had stuttered off an excuse and quickly ran off. You had turned to smack Kageyama's chest playfully.

I'll admit, after I realized what was happening, I thought it was cute. I know how you get protective over me. I don't blame you, though, I get protective over you too.

"What was that for?" You had asked Kageyama. The boy had not removed his arm from your shoulder.

"What was what for?" Kageyama had played dumb, though in most cases he didn't have to play very hard. You had known what was up. At first glance, Kageyama had been a very intimidating young man. Once you had gotten to know him, though, you had realized just how harmless he was.

"Oh? Are you jealous?" You had teased him with a smirk playing on your lips. Kageyama had scoffed, trying to deflect and look anywhere but at you. You had seen a small pink tint on his ears.

"Shut up, idiot."

I know you didn't mean it, you just don't like to admit when you have feelings for anything but volleyball.

The sound of your footsteps had been one of the many ambient sounds on the street. However, car engines and other people around had made your footsteps almost inaudible. Out of nowhere, Kageyama had draped his jacket over your shoulders.

You had looked at him confused. You hadn't mentioned you had been cold. Kageyama's eyes had been trained forward and he had returned his hands to his pockets. A tender smile had formed on your face as you gazed at him lovingly.

I like to wear your clothes. They always smell like you and I find that comforting. Your clothes are soft too.

Tobio felt a frown settle on his face. He looked across his bedroom as he sat on his bed alone. He noticed a specific sweatshirt hanging in his closet. It was one of your favorites. Seeing you in his clothes filled Tobio with a sense of pride; he was so proud to have you as his.

There were times when Tobio knew you deserved someone much better than he could ever be. You deserved the world. Could he even give half of that to you? Reading your letters reminded him every day how much he loved you. He loved you more than his prideful self could ever express to you.
