Y/Ns POV

"I don't believe it!" Ron exclaimed, jumping up and down like a little girl as we walked into the Great Hall. "It's Viktor, bloody Krum!"

"For Merlins sake, Ronald, he's a Quidditch player." Hermione said in an irritated tone.

I didn't particularly like how he was eyeing Hermione a few minutes ago. I'll have to keep an eye on him.

"Only a Quidditch player?" Ron scoffed. "Hermione-he's one of the best Seekers in the world! I had no idea he was still in school!"

"Big deal, Ron." I said. "He doesn't seem all that great to me."

"I'm getting his autograph if I can."

"Why don't you profess your deep love for him while you are at it."

"Shut up, Y/N."

"Make me, Billius."

To Ron's disappointment, the Durmstrang students had all taken a seat at the Slytherin table, Malfoy had gotten up from his seat to talk to Krum and smirked at us as he was doing so.

The Beauxbatons had split off towards different tables, half the students had parked themselves at our table, and some at the Ravenclaw table, where I saw Sam talking to the same girl who we met at the World Cup, Natasha.

The male population of our table all turned to stare at the newcomers, some were standing up just to get a better view, Kieran was even talking and laughing with a few girls who sat by him.

"Do they really have to sit next to us?" Hermione said.

"I'm sure it's not going to be a big deal." I said reassuringly.

"Jesus Christ, Ronald." A familiar voice called out to us, which turned out to be Heather, who was walking towards us with the same girl who was eyeing me. "Must you always eat like a damn pig?"

"Oh, Heather, how I've missed your sarcastic comments." Ron sneered before picking up another chicken leg.

Heather greeted us excitedly by giving each of us a hug, before sitting down next to Harry.

"You must be the famous Harry Potter." The other girl held out her hand to shake Harry's before turning to me.

"And who might this la migonne be?" She asked in a teasing tone.

"I-uh, hi, I'm Y/N." I said while holding out my hand. "Pleasure."

"Oh, but the pleasure is all mine." She said while putting her hand on my arm.

"How about we meet up sometime." She whispered in my ear. "Preferably in my bedroom."

Wow, quite the fast mover.

"Excuse me!" Hermione exclaimed, looking really mad. "Why don't you just leave us alone, Y/N has other plans tonight."

Wait, I do?

"Well, Y/N." The girl said while continuing to rub my arm. "It looks like we'll have to continue this conversation another time, I can't wait for us to get closer this year."

She then got up from her seat, gave a wink, and walked back towards her friends.

"Stupid bimbo." Hermione muttered as we continued to eat.

"I'm really sorry about Antoinette." Heather sighed. "She is quite the flirt."

"Why's it always Y/N?" Harry asked. "I'm here too!"

"I'm quite the catch, I suppose." I replied.

"Well that daft bimbo needs to stay away." Hermione growled while gripping onto her fork.

"Are you jealous, Granger?" I smirked.

"Just a smidge." She gritted her teeth, while continuing to glare at Antoinette from across the table.

"Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, ghosts and particularly-guests." Dumbledore said as he rose from his seat, silence filling the room. "I have great pleasure in welcoming you all to Hogwarts. I hope and trust that your stay here will be both comfortable and enjoyable."

From across the table, I could see Kieran in deep conversation with another Beauxbatons girl.

"The tournament will be officially opened at the end of the feast," Dumbledore continued. "I now invite you all to eat, drink, and make yourselves at home!"

Dumbledore sat back down as the plates in front of us filled up with all kinds of foods that I've never seen before, most were from different parts of the world, most likely from the other schools respective countries.

"What the hell is this?" Ron asked, pointing at a dish of some sort that looked like a bizarre stew.

"Bouillabaisse." Hermione and Heather answered simultaneously, causing them to both giggle.

"Bless you." Ron said.

"We didn't sneeze, you idiot." Heather said. "It's French."

"I had it on holiday." Hermione said. "Summer before last, it's very nice."

"I'll take your word for it." Ron said while pushing the bouillabaisse away from himself.

And after a few minutes, Antoinette made her way back to our seats with a smirk.

"Are you finished with ze bouillabaisse?" She asked.

"We're finished with it here." I said. "Here you-"

"Oh don't worry, I'll get it." Antoinette said.

As she leaned over the table, she grabbed my arm and started to lean slowly towards my face.

"There's some on the other side of the bloody table!" Hermione exclaimed. Looking very pissed off.

"What if I wanted some from over here?" Antoinette asked angrily.

"Why don't you just go back to your friends and leave us alone." Hermione said.

"What are you gonna do if I don't?"

"You don't want to know, you daft bim-"

"That's enough!" Heather said. "Antoinette, just go away."

Antoinette continued to glare at Hermione until she looked at me, smirking as she made her way back to her friends.

"You better close your mouth, Ron." Heather said to Ron, who had his mouth agape at the other Beauxbatons. "You'll catch flies."

"She's a Veela." Ron said.

"No she's not!" Hermione said angrily. "She's a stupid bimbo is what she is."

"I'm telling you, that's not a normal girl! They don't make them like that at Hogwarts!"

"I actually think they make them much better at Hogwarts." I said while making a quick glance at Hermione.

"Whatever you want to believe, Y/N." Ron said.

While the boys went back to gazing at the Beauxbatons, me and Hermione turned our attention to two people who entered the Great Hall.

Ludo Bagman and Barty Crouch.

"What is Crouch doing here?" I spat. I was still mad at his antics at the World Cup.

"They organized the Triwizard Tournament." Hermione said. "I suppose they wanted to be here to see it start."

Eventually the puddings came, and while Heather was telling a very embarrassing story of Ron as a baby, Dumbledore stood up once again to gather everyone's attention.

"Oh come on, I was enjoying that." Harry whispered to Heather, who just smirked in return.

"The moment has come!" Dumbledore said. "The Triwizard Tournament is about to start. I would like to say a few words of explanation before we bring in the casket-"

Um, what?

"-just to clarify the procedure which we will be following this year." Dumbledore continued. "But firstly, let me introduce, for those who do not know them, Mr. Bartemis Crouch, Head of the Department of International Magical Co-operation, and Mr. Ludo Bagman, Head of the Department of Magical Games and Sports."

The applause for Crouch was considerably less than that for Ludo Bagman.

"Mr. Bagman and Mr. Crouch have worked tirelessly over the last few months on the arrangements for the Triwizard Tournament." Dumbledore said. "And they shall be joining myself, Professor Kakaroff, and Madame Maxine on the panel which will be judging the champions efforts...the casket, then if you please, Mr. Filch."

Filch approached Dumbledore with a large wooden casket. It looked very old, with many scratches and holes in the wood. However, it was encrusted with jewels.

"The instructions for the tasks the champions will face this year have already been examined by Mr. Crouch and Mr. Bagman. They will have made the necessary arrangements for each challenge. There will be three tasks spaced throughout the school year, and they will test the champions in many different ways....their magical prowess....their daring-their powers of deduction....and of course, their ability to cope with danger."

"As you know, the three champions will compete in the Tournament. One from each of the participating schools. They will marked on how well they perform each of the Tournament tasks and the champion with the highest total after task three will win the Triwizard Cup. The champions will be chosen by an impartial selector....the Goblet of Fire."

Dumbledore then took his wand, and tapped three times upon the casket. The lid opened to reveal a large, round wooden cup. It wasn't very interesting until bright blue flames started to dance inside it.

I have definitely seen this cup before, in my crystal ball at the Burrow.

"Anyone wishing to submit themselves as a champion must write their name and school clearly upon a slip of parchment, and drop it into the Goblet." Dumbledore continued.

"Aspiring champions have twenty four hours in which to place their names forward. Tomorrow night, Halloween, the Goblet will return the names of the three it has judged most worthy to represent their schools. The Goblet will be placed in the Entrance Hall tonight, where it will be freely accessible to all those wishing to compete."

"To ensure that no underage student yields to temptation, I will be drawing an Age Line around the Goblet of Fire once it has been placed in the Entrance Hall. Nobody under the age of seventeen will be able to cross this line."

I'm sure Fred, George, and Mia would figure out some crazy idea to bypass that.

"Finally, I wish to impress upon you wishing to compete that this Tournament is not to be entered into lightly. Once a champion has been selected by the Goblet of Fire, he or she is obligated to see the Tournament through to the end. The placing of your name in the Goblet constitutes a binding, magical contract, similar to that of the Unbreakable Vow. There can be no change of heart once you have become a champion. Please be very sure, therefore, that you are wholeheartedly prepared to play, before you drop your name into the Goblet."

Like I said, you would not catch me doing that.

"Now, I think it is time for bed. Goodnight to you all!"

The next day was Halloween, and today, the Champions would be selected for the upcoming Tournament.

I was meeting with the others to go to the Great Hall and see who had entered their names into the Goblet. But before that, I had to head to the bathroom.

While I was washing my hands, I heard a voice as if someone was clearing their throat behind me.

"We never did get to finish that conversation, did we?" Said the voice of Antoinette, the girl who was flirting with me last night.

"I-uh, h-hi Antoinette, I-I think you're in the wrong bathroom." I said as I started to stutter.

"Oh, but the sign said......boys." She said in a very teasing tone. "So I must be in the right place."

Jesus Christ, this girl.

Antoinette walked up to me and put her hand on my chest, running her hand up and down.

"You know, your clothes look really nice." She whispered in my ear.

"Uh, thanks?" I questioned. "They are a part of my uniform."

"They'd look better on my bedroom floor."

"Ok!" I exclaimed while trying to wiggle my way out of her grasp. "I should really get going, I have somewhere to be."

"Oh, playing hard to get, are we?" She asked. "I like that."

I rushed out of the bathroom and as I opened the door, Hermione was outside waiting for me.

"Hey!" She smiled. "What took you so long?"

And just as she finished, Antoinette walked out of the bathroom, winking before going the other way.

Hermione's smile faded quickly before she looked at me.

"Hermione-" I said.

"Were you two snogging?" She asked angrily, with tears running down her eyes.

"No!" I exclaimed. "Antoinette just followed me in the bathroom, she was being really seductive and followed me inside."

I put my hands on Hermione's shoulders and looked at her directly in the eyes.

"Okay." She said softly.

"Don't worry about Antoinette." I said. "I don't fancy her that way."

"Okay." She smiled before grabbing my hand.

As we made our way to the Great Hall, about twenty people were standing around the cup, patiently waiting for someone to enter. There was a thin line forming a circle around the Goblet. Most likely to prevent anyone under the age of seventeen to enter.

One of those people, was Viktor Krum.

As he put his name into the Goblet, he turned towards Hermione and stared at her for a few seconds with a smirk.

And when he turned towards me, his smirk evaporated and turned into a scowl.

I don't know why, but he's only been here for less than one day, and he's really starting to make my blood boil.

I hated the way he looked at Hermione whenever he got the chance, it was really maddening.

"Anyone put their name in yet?" Ron asked our group, snapping me out of my trance.

"All the Durmstrang lot." Selena said. "Haven't seen anyone from Hogwarts yet."

"Bet some of them put it in last night before we'd all gone to bed." Tom continued, glaring over in Theo and Daphnes direction.

"I think Viktor Krum put his name in." Heather followed up. "Wouldn't be surprised if he was one of the champions."

While they were having their conversation, Fred, George, Mia, and Lee Jordan came running in, Mia going to stand next to her girlfriend.

"We've done it!" Fred said excitedly. "Just taken it!"

"Taken what?" Ron asked.

"The Ageing Potion, dung brains!"

"One drop each." George continued. "We only need to be a few months older."

"We're going to split the thousand galleons between the three of us if one of us wins," Lee said.

"Well that's just too bad." I said.

"It's not going to work." Hermione said.

"Oh yeah, why's that?" Fred asked.

"You really think that Albus Dumbledore, the greatest wizard of our time, is going to be fooled by something so pathetically dim witted such as an agin potion." Hermione continued.

"Because it's so pathetically dim witted." Fred remarked.

"Well, it's your funeral."

"Ready Fred?"

"Ready George!"

The twins jumped in while Lee watched from the edge of the line, waiting to see whether or not the plan worked. They put their names into the Goblet and high fived.

But then, the flames from the cup emerged and pushed Fred and George out of the Age Line, across from the room and onto the floor. As they got up and looked at each other, we saw that they had full grown heads of grey hair and beards.

It was quite hilarious to say the least.

"Didn't we tell them?" Hermione smirked.

"Oh yes we did."

"That's quite enough." Dumbledore spoke from the Entrance to the Great Hall. "I did warn you." He chuckled. "I suggest you both go up to Madam Pomfrey. She is already tending to Miss Rosario, of Ravenclaw, and Mr. Wood, of Hufflepuff, both of whom decided to age themselves up a bit, too. Though I must say, neither of their beards is anything as fine as yours."

Harry led us over to where Raymond, Dean, and Seamus sat. They were busy discussing who they thought would be entering the tournament.

"There's a rumor going around, Warrington got up early and put his name in." Raymond said. "That big bloke from Slytherin who looks like an ape."

"We can't have a Slytherin champion!" Ron exclaimed. "That would be horrible!"

"And what's so horrible about that?" Mia stood up and glared at Ron, who looked very intimidated by her.

"N-nothing." He stuttered.

"That's what I thought, ginger bitch." Mia muttered as she sat next to Pansy.

"What if Cedric put his name in?"

"Actually." Seamus began. "All the Hufflepuffs are talking about him doing it. We haven't seen him doing it though, so it's really all talk at the moment."

"Listen!" Hermione said, gathering all of our attention.

People had started to cheer from the Entrance Hall. Angelina Johnson skipping into the hall.

"Well, I've done it! I just put my name in! She said, taking a seat next to Harry."

"You're kidding!" Ron exclaimed.

"Are you seventeen, then?" Harry asked.

"She doesn't have a beard so that must be a good sign." Hermione said.

"I had my birthday last week." Angelina said.

"Well I'm glad someone from Gryffindor is entering." I said. "I really hope you get it, Angelina! And happy belated birthday!"

"Thanks, Y/N!"

"We should get out of here." Hermione said, pulling me away from my conversation with Angelina.

"Whats up?"

"We have our S.P.E.W meeting soon."

"Oh, right! Do we have everything?"

"I need to ask Hagrid later if he wants to join."

Hermione grabbed my hand and led the four of us, plus some others to the Gryffindor Common Room.

"What do you reckon'll happen to the ones who aren't chosen?" Ron questioned. "Reckon they'll go back to school, or hang around to watch the tournament?"

"Probably hang around." I said. "Madame Maxine is one of the judges."

Hermione's POV

Shortly after, we had arrived at the Common Room to have our first S.P.E.W meeting, which turned out to be a tremendous success.

Because of Y/N handing out pins during school for the last month, we were able to receive more than thirty sickles to fund our leaflet campaign.

After me and Y/N explained about all the abuse that house elves were put through, and what they are still being put through in some places, a lot of our friends decided to join our cause.

Sam, Axel, Kieran, Tom, Mia, Heather, Selena, Pansy, Laura, Ash and a few others immediately agreed to hand out pins.

We also had a few others join, like Natasha, who came with Sam, and two girls named Summer and Emily, who came with Kieran and Axel respectively.

During the meeting however, someone had managed to follow us to the Common Room.

And that someone, was Viktor Krum himself.

"Oh bloody hell." Sam said angrily. "I am not putting up with this git."

"Neither am I." Kieran said as they both stood up to walk towards Krum.

"Vat is going on here?" He asked while looking at me.

"Nothing that concerns you egghead." Sam said as he started to lead Krum out the door.

"But-"

"Goodbye." Kieran said as the shut the door behind him.

"What the hell?!" Ron exclaimed. "That was Viktor bloody Krum!"

Sam and Kieran simply gave Ron the middle finger, and went to sit down next to Natasha and Summer.

From right next to me, I saw Heather and Tom deep in conversation, right next to Daphne and Theo, who I felt just showed up because Daph dragged him into it.

"You ever been to Azkaban?" Tom asked Heather.

"No, why would I?"

"It must be illegal to look that beautiful." Tom said with a smirk.

"Oh, stop." Heather laughed. "You're making me blush."

I could also see Daphne glaring at them as they were talking.

Somebody's getting a bit jealous.

After the meeting adjourned, we all went to our separate common rooms since we would all be going to the Great Hall for the champions section soon.

3rd Person POV

A few hours later, everyone from their respective schools gathered in the Great Hall.

"Sit down please." Dumbledore's voice boomed to the audience. "And now, the moment you've all been waiting for, the champions selection!"

Dumbledore walked over to the Goblet of Fire as the blue fire gleamed red. Everyone, including the quartet, the Slytherin quartet, and the Ravenclaw trio were waiting in anticipation to see who the Goblet would choose.

The Goblet spit out a charred piece of paper from the fire as Dumbledore caught the paper and read aloud.

"The Durmstrang champion.......is Viktor Krum!"

The Durmstrang students cheered for Krum, along with a few Hogwarts students including a certain ginger.

Y/N L/N watched as Krum made his way up to the champions platform.

Ever since the Bulgarian had set foot on the Hogwarts grounds, Y/N has grown a strong dislike for him. One that could rival his good friend Samuel Auras, who has hated Krum for a long time.

He didn't like how he would always sneak glances at Hermione every chance he would get, to say the least, it infuriated him to no end.

And besides, Krum was an adult, and Hermione was still a teenager.

Another name had spewed out of the Goblet as Dumbledore caught the paper. He examined it and read aloud,

"The champion for Beauxbatons...Fleur Delacour!"

The Beauxbatons girls, along with Heather, Antoinette, Natasha, Summer, and Emily cheered for Fleur as she made her way to the platform.

Finally the Goblet spewed out the final champion, most likely the Hogwarts champion. As Dumbledore caught the paper, everyone watched in anticipation for the name to be called.

"The Hogwarts champion....is Cedric Diggory!"

All the houses cheered for Cedric including the quartet, Y/N hadn't talked to Cedric a whole lot but nonetheless was pretty happy for him.

As Cedric was cheered for by his fellow Hufflepuffs, Dumbledore looked back to the audience and said,

"Excellent! We now have our three Champions! But in the end only one will go down in history. Only one will hoist this chalice of champions, this vessel of victory of the Triwizard Cup-"

But before Dumbledore could continue, Severus Snape approached the Goblet slowly as the audience grew quiet. Dumbledore turned towards the Goblet in confusion, as the flame turned red again.

"What could this mean?" He thought to himself.

His question was answered as two more names flew out of the cup.

Dumbledore caught both of them and examined them carefully.

"Oh, no."

He looked up in shock at the other students as he read aloud,

"Harry Potter.......and Y/N L/N."

A/N: Big thank you to bvzztinย  for this amazing GIF! It will now be at the end of every chapter from here on out!
