Branch's POV

Sunday afternoon, I was driving my orange Lamborghini on the smooth roads of Sunshine City together with my Cupcake. We will have a date on a restaurant called Maison De Cuisine. This will be our first date-and I want this to be a special memory for us.

The radio started to play my song Can't Stop The Feeling and Poppy started to sing.

♪ I got this feeling... ♪

"...inside mah bones. It goes electric, wavy when I turn it on!"

Although she sings crazily, it still was adorable and made me smile myself.

"And under the lights when everything goes, nowhere to hide when I'm getting you close!" Poppy grabbed her comb and used it as her microphone.

I chuckled and interlocked my fingers to hers. Poppy continued on singing and at the same time, she held back my hands.

I started to sing as well. "When you move, well you already know..."

Poppy and I continued to dance and sing to the rhythm of the music.

I opened the door of my car and went to the other side to open the door where Poppy is at. She went out of the car and went beside me. I locked the door, held Poppy's hand and both went in the restaurant.

"Bonjour! Welcome to Maison De Cuisine! Good afternoon, your majesty." said a green Troll-probably one of the staff in this restaurant-and genuflected to Poppy.

"Good afternoon!" Poppy greeted back and smiled.

I glanced at her name tag and what I saw made something flash into my mind.

Shocked, my eyes widened and said, "Lili?"

"Uh, yes sir. My name is Lili." the green troll chuckled and smiled.

"Oh um," my eyes went back to the name tag and realized that the girl's name was actually Lily, not Lili.

I remembered her. Lili. My past haunts me since then.

Lily realized that she was actually talking to me and now she had a different look. She blushed and gave a big grin, showing her blue braces and said, "OMG Branch I'm your number 1 fan!" She squealed and asked. "Mr. Branchie, can I give you a hug?"

My mouth was just going to say a word, but then the girl immediately grasped me with her arms and hugged me-very tight.

"Um... Ehem? You can stop now." Poppy said and crossed her arms. Wait, is she jealous or something?

"Oh uh..." Lily immediately unraveled her arms around me and stood straight. "Sorry, Queen Poppy."

Well, this girl is obviously one of my fans.

"By the way, how many seats, sir?"

"Isn't it obvious?" Poppy asked with a serious look. "O-oh! I mean, two seats please..." her eyes widened, realizing that her words are too much.

"And, is VIP available?" I asked.

"Oh uh, yes. Follow me." Lily answered. We followed her as she led us to the VIP table.

The place was nice and cozy. There was a little bridge ahead of us and a round table was set on the other side.

My eyes wandered to the place, looking at the pretty white flowers spreading through the ceiling. Beside me was an unquestionably wonderful sight to behold.

"Woah..." Poppy was amazed as she watched the sun slowly depart for the night sky to enter the scene.

I smiled and gazed at my girlfriend. She really is irresistibly beautiful...

We sat down on our table and gave our orders to Lily.

"One Chicken Curry French Style please." I said. I looked at Poppy and said, "How about you, Cu-"

I suddenly remembered that I shouldn't call her couple names because everyone knows that Kaylee is my girlfriend. Not Poppy.

"I mean, Poppy? " I said. "How about you?"

"I want cakes, cupcakes, chocolates, candies, frappes, and MORE sweets!" Poppy exclaimed and gave a big smile.

I chuckled and squeezed her pink cheeks.

"Just kidding!" Poppy giggled. "One Grilled Fish Fillet Steak please."

"Okay, madame," Lily said, writing our orders, and smiled. "By the way, you guys are really cute bestfriends!"

"Oh hehe... Thanks!" Poppy answered and smiled.

Best friends.

Poppy and I had satisfied tummies and are full after finishing our meal.

"Man, this is incredibly delicious!" Poppy said and wiped her mouth with a piece of tissue.

"Yep. Delicious indeed." I smiled and burped with contentment.

"So, let's go now?" Poppy said.

I nodded. We stood up and went out of the VIP room.

We went to the door and saw Lily passing by.

"Au revoir, sir, ma'am! Thank you for coming!" Lily waved and smiled.

"Thank you!"Poppy and I replied and went in my car.

Poppy's POV

Today is a good night. Branch and I are on the way home. The weather is nice and there is normal traffic-which probably is a great time to drive smoothly on the roads of Sunshine City. And what's better is that the radio is currently playing Branch's song, Mirrors.

But suddenly, the good weather had changed its mood and started to rain cats and dogs. Heavy rain started to splash and make noises on the car's roof.

"Oh no," Branch said and switched open the wiper of his car. "I think I forgot the umbrella."

"What?" I answered and stared at the raindrops falling on the car's windows. "How can we get out?"

Branch pressed the break pedal and shifted the gear to park. The car is right in front of the pod and he was just going out to open the door for me when I suddenly held his arm and said, "Branch, wait. You might become sick because of the rain. Can we just...stay here for a moment?"

He slowly put off his hand from the door and smiled. "Okay."

We both leaned against our seats and silence started to spread.

The car became silent. The music continued to play, but still the rain gave a sad mood to the night. The cold wind flowed through my skin that made me get goosebumps.

I placed my cheek against the window, watching the rain fall down. Then suddenly, Branch's placed his warm hand to mine gently, making me turn to him.

And as I look at him, he immediately leaned and placed his lips to mine.

I slowly closed my eyes as we both shared a deep, passionate kiss.

Suddenly, I felt his arms starting to caress my back that made my heart start to race wildly and my knees start to weaken. Realizing that each of his kiss becomes more intense than the last, I started to make soft moans with pleasure and gave smooches equally. I could even taste curry from his mouth.

Then, someone knocked at the car door which made us quickly break the kiss.

I quickly fixed myself and sat formally. Realizing what just happened inside the car, I cannot look straightly into his two eyes.

"S-sorry..." Branch said and looked away in shame.

I rubbed my arm and bit my lip.

Guy Diamond is outside, holding an umbrella. Branch opened my window and quickly fixed himself.

"Hey guys!" GD said.

"Uhh..hey!" Branch and I both said awkwardly.

"Wait, how did you know we're here?" asked Branch.

"Duh I know your car's plate number." Guy Diamond answered. "So, I guess you don't have umbrellas right?"

"Uhh yeah.." We replied.

"Sadly, I only have one umbrella." Guy Diamond said, showing the umbrella he is holding.

"Well, just bring Poppy home. I can go by myself." Branch said.

"But, you might become sick because of the ra-"

Branch cuts what I'm saying. "No it's okay. I'm just gonna park my car near my pod and then I will run to get inside."

"Well, okay." I answered. "But when you become sick, go to the doctor immediately okay?"

He nodded and smiled.

Before I could go out of the car, Branch held my hand and stopped me.

"I'll see you tomorrow. And, don't sleep late, okay?"

"O-okay. And, you should sleep early too." I answered and was just going out of the car when...

"I-I love you." He quickly said before I could go out.

I smiled and answered. "I love you too."

GD and I are in my pod, both sitting on my bed.

"Something happened on both of you, aren't you?" Guy Diamond asked and smirked.

"Uhh..." what GD said brought a blush to my cheeks, remembering what Branch just did earlier. And that thing made me bite my lip.

"Tell me the truth." GD smirked once again.

"Uhh...nope." I said and laughed.

"Oh you'll not gonna tell me? Okay!" GD said and started tickling me.

"H-hey! S-stop!" I started to laugh so hard, knowing that he is tickling me on my tickling spots-which are almost all of the possible tickle spots.

Guy Diamond stopped and said, "Now, tell me."

"Okay, okay! We-we kissed in the car." I answered and started to squeal.

"Woah!" GD exclaimed. "I'm proud when my ships kiss."

"But it's not just a simple kiss, GD!" I said and squeled so hard.

Guy Diamond gasped and began to celebrate.

"Yeah!!" GD exclaimed.

I giggled and squeezed my cheeks. Then I began to squeal once again.

Suddenly, Guy Diamond calmed down and whispered, "I wish DJ could do it to me."

"W-wait, what did you just said?" I asked and smirked.

"Uhh, nothing!" GD answered. "It's just that, DJ doesn't like kisses."

"Nah I know she would kiss someone one day." I said.

"I hope so." Guy Diamond said in hope.

"W-wait, wait, how would you think those stuff if you and DJ aren't official yet?"

"Umm...of course, in case." GD answered and winked. "By the way, I have to go. The rain has stopped though."

"Oh." I peeked through the window and saw that the dark fog faded away, showing the stars. "Well, okay."

"Bye Poppy!" Guy Diamond said and went out.

"Bye GD." I said.

I opened the door for him and closed it after he went out.

After closing the door, I dived on my bed and squealed once again.

I took my poster of Branch and talked to it.

"Hey, Branchie? Y'know, I really like that smoochie-smoochie!" I paused and squealed. "Uhh-I mean, heheh...uh..."

I was surprised about what I've said. I hugged the poster and stared the ceiling, still recalling what happened between me and my Munchkin.
