renjun groaned and placed the pillow on top of his head to cover his ears. ❝chenle ano ginawa mo dito.❞

it was now 1 in the afternoon and renjun was sleeping. chenle just woke up and went to renjun's shared room with jeno and jaemin to do his job his hyungs assigned him to do.

❝birthday mo ngayon tapos natutulog ka lang?❞ chenle took of the blanket that was covering renjun's body

the older groaned and pulled it back ❝ikaw lang naman ang nakaalala eh.❞

renjun didn't hear a birthday greeting from the both of his best friends, jeno and jaemin. kahit sa chat nga wala. sa mga kaibigan naman niya na sina mark at donghyuck, nagwave lang sa messenger.

si jisung? hindi nga niya alam kung alam ba ng bata na bday niya ngayon.

minutes later they heard guys talking and they found the voices familiar. they then realized it was chenle and renjun coming near.

❝hyung! nasaan yung cake?❞ tumayo si jisung galing sa sofa

❝JAEMIN?!❞ donghyuck stared at his friend. he kinda regretted giving jaemin many stuffs to do. he was assigned for the balloons but he forgot and left it at the house. he was afraid that something also happened to the cake.

❝jeno?❞ jaemin looked at jeno who was waiting for him at the bottom of the ladder.

❝teka kunin ko muna.❞ pumunta si jeno sa lamesa na nasa gilid ng kwarto.

❝chenle? bakit tayo nandito sa old apartment ni mark?❞ tanong ni renjun, hawak niya ngayon ang balloon.

chenle panicked and tried to find a reason as fast as he could ❝ah may naiwan kasi si mark hyung at pinakuha niya sakin.❞

❝bakit mo pa ako pinasama? nasaan nga pala si mark?❞

the younger didn't answer anymore and continued walking, hoping that renjun would just shrug it away but it made him even more curious.

sa loob naman ng apartment ay nagtago na sila donghyuck, mark, jisung, jaemin, at jeno. si donghyuck at mark nasa likod ng sofa, si jisung nasa likod ng tv, tapos sina jaemin is jeno naman nasa likod ng lamesa kung saan yung cake. the lights were turned off, making the people not see anything.

mamaya naman biglang bumukas yung pinto, making the lights outside go inside the room. chenle went over to the switch and the friends went out of the hiding spots to greet renjun a happy birthday as soon as the lights went on.

they were all wearing birthday caps and jisung, being the near one near the door, threw confetties at renjun. renjun didn't know what to react and just stared at them. he was surprised, he thought his friends forgot his birthday, especially those two who were standing behind the cake. jeno and jaemin smiled at him making the older grin.

❝thank you?❞ renjun giggled. kumuha si chenle ng extra birthday cap at sinuot niya ito tapos pinasuot niya si renjun ng isa.

lumapit sina jeno at jaemin kay renjun at niyakap nila ito.

❝happy birthday injun.❞ sabi ni jaemin

❝happy birthday pandak.❞ ngayon si jeno naman

ngumiti si renjun. ❝thank you.❞
