I walk down the hallway upstairs and stop in front of Josh's closed door. I lightly knock on it when I hear a "come in."

I open the door and see him laying on his bed, his back against the headboard. He looks over to me and gives me a small smile.

"Hey." I say, not sure how to start the conversation. "Hey J." He says back.

I sit at the edge of his bed and look at him. "I'm so sorry." I begin.

"No, it's not your fault, I should've known she didn't really like me I was so stupid to think anybody could even like me for me anyways." He says.

My eyes soften and I sigh. I climb over to him and sit next to him with my back against his headboard. I turn my head over to him and see he's staring down at his lap.

"Don't say that Josh, anybody would be extremely lucky to be with you." I tell him.

He looks my way and I have to admit he looks really cute with his hockey beanie on top of his growing hair.

He sighs and lays his head on my shoulder. "You're a good friend you know that?" He asks.

I put my head on top of his and a smile comes onto my lips. "Yeah I'm pretty much the best." I say teasingly.
