how could i make a rant book without talking about him. the most beloved or hated character (okay not really but whatever)

sure, he may have loved Lily, but he treated EVERYONE like absolute GARBAGE. sure, he saved Harry, but if he didn't tell Voldemort about the prophecy, he wouldn't have needed to save Harry in the first place. he hated James, but does it really give him an excuse to bully young Harry that didn't do anything wrong except exist? also, why is he so mean to Neville? omagine for a second, having a teacher bully and make fun of you all day for no reason. And then imagine that teacher being your worst fear! let that sink in. neville's worst fear was SNAPE. neville was so terrified of his teacher, that Neville's boggart was Snape. neville's parents were tortured by Bellatrix, so it would've made sense if Neville was scared of Bellatrix or Voldemort, but for some reason, he's more scared of Snape than the two worst people in the Wizarding World. istg i want to throw him off a building! he was so mad that he got friend-zoned that he joined the death eaters. i—
