NO ONE P.O.V

"How do I switch on this thing?" Lisa mumble in frustration as she struggle to switch on the stove. She sighs before grumbling in annoyance. "You know what? Let me cut the vegetable first."

Lisa wanted to cook for Jungkook. She never cook for anybody but she wanted to try it for Jungkook. However, she seems like she is struggling. Lisa stared from the biggest knife to the smallest one.

"Which one should I use?" She muttered to herself "Damn it, this is harder than cutting people's heads off." She adds as she hesitates on which knife should she use. She grabbed the longest one, the one that you use to cut fish.

"You should use this one actually." Lisa flinch upon hearing the voice as she turns around almost instantly. Only to see Jungkook there while pointing at the other knife with a small smile on his face.

"That one is more suitable to cut vegetables." He adds making Lisa glance at it. She nods and grabs the knife before turning back towards the vegetables. "What are you cooking?" Jungkook asks as he leans beside her.

"Al tang (Spicy Pollock Roe Stew)" she answers shortly. Jungkook raises his left eyebrow in interest "Al tang?" Lisa nod at his question.

"Why do you want to cook all of a sudden?" He asks as he crosses his arm. "Why can't I? Don't you want to try my cooking?" Lisa answer making Jungkook smile softly. "Of course I want, it's a once lifetime you know?"

Lisa chuckle at the answer "If you like it, I can make it again next time." She says as she starts cutting the vegetables. Jungkook gaze at her softly as her voice rang in her head. "You know..."

"Sometimes, there is no next time."

Lisa could feel how her hand freeze at his statement. She purses her lips, understanding what Jungkook is trying to tell her. A painful statement that might come true.

Lisa takes a deep breath as she forms a smile and continues cutting the vegetable "idiot, don't jinx yourself." She scolds without looking at him. Jungkook shrug as he watches her cutting the vegetables silently.

Jungkook frowns and scrunches his nose when he watches Lisa struggling to cut the vegetables properly. "Uhmm... Are you okay? I can help, if you want." Jungkook offer.

"No- I can handle this." She stays as she stares at the completely destroyed onion. Jungkook chuckles and shakes his head. Lisa scratched the back of her neck as she stares at the mess she is making. A low sigh left her lips as she look down.

"Don't give up just yet..."

Lisa flinch when she heard his soft voice behind her ears. She could feel his breath on her ear as he stood dangerously close to her.

Lisa could hear her heart beating so fast when Jungkook hold her palm that is grabbing the knife. Jungkook moves his head to her shoulder as his other hand grabs the onion.

He places it in front of them as Lisa just follows his movement. "You should cut it like this." Jungkook mutter as he start to guide her and cut the onion. Lisa took a deep breath trying to calm her crazy heart.

Her hand follows Jungkook's. When Jungkook saw that Lisa can already handle it herself, Jungkook pulls away from his palm but instead of making some distance between them, Jungkook wrapped his arm around Lisa's wrist.

Back hugs her as he places his head on her shoulder. Watching her cutting those vegetables silently. Lisa just smile at the affection Jungkook is showing. She felt at peace.

Calm, as if there is no trouble bothering them at all. She doesn't want to think about the future because no matter what did she think, she will never be sure of what will happen.

She's going to treasure this moment, the same goes with Jungkook.

"Let's cook together," Lisa suggested, breaking the silence between them. Jungkook hummed "sure, but I'll just assist." He says with a playful smile making Lisa roll her eyes and chuckle.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever. Go and help me."

For once, Jungkook felt at ease and peaceful. Just cooking with her is enough to make him feel alive. They share laughs and jokes. Jungkook teases her when she can't differentiate between salt and sugar.

A lifetime felt like a moment but a moment felt like a lifetime.

This is how Jungkook could describe their moment. It was just brief but he knew, that they will cherish it forever. A smile appears on his lips very easily just by looking at her cooking excitedly beside him.

Lisa smile in excitement as she stares at the nearly done food. Her eyes sparkle brightly and her lips smile genuinely. Jungkook can stare at her forever. His thought was cut off when Lisa offer him the soup.

"Taste it." She says nervously. Jungkook smiled at her expression before leaning towards the spoon and blowing it softly before bringing it to his mouth. Jungkook pauses upon tasting it as he glances at Lisa.

"Is it good?" She asks curiously. Jungkook smiles softly before turning towards the salt. "Just a little more salt and it will be perfect." He comments as he offers her the salt.

Lisa smiles and take the salt. She put a little salt in the food as Jungkook mixed it properly. Soon Jungkook grabbed the spoon and take the soup a little before bringing it towards Lisa. "Now taste it." He says as he blows on the soup a little.

Lisa brings the spoon to her mouth. "How is it?" Jungkook ask as Lisa paused, seemingly to be in her own thought before widening her eyes. "It tastes so unique!" She says excitedly, probably happy that her first-ever food is a success.

Jungkook chuckled at her excited behavior. The wide smile doesn't leave her face as Jungkook closes the pot. "Now we wait." He says as Lisa glances at Jungkook.

Their eyes lock with each other. Jungkook brings up his palm and moves her hair to the back of her ear. "Thank you Jungkook," Lisa muttered as the eye contact remain between them.

Jungkook chuckle "why should you thank me? There isn't anything you should thank me with-" his words was cut off when Lisa suddenly pull him into a kiss. His eyes flutter close instantly as he doesn't even hesitate to return back the kiss.

Lisa pulls as she stares at his face "thank you, for everything. Thank you for even existing. I love you so much." She says as she pulls them into a kiss once again. Jungkook wrap his arm around her waist as he deepened the kiss.

"Stop pushing me, I'm trying to get a good view!"

"You are the one who should stop pushing me! I come here first!"

Jungkook and Lisa pull away instantly as they snap their head towards the kitchen entrance. Only to see, Jackson and Hoseok arguing with each other.

"I am his brother! I should be here, go away! You might ruin the mood!" Jackson whispers yell as Hoseok grumbles in annoyance before turning back towards the couple that is already looking at them.

Both of them froze upon realizing that they were exposed. The two of them stood up instantly "uh- we just passed by. Sorry for disturbing your moments. Please continue." Hoseok says with an apologetic smile.

Lisa's cheek turns red as Jungkook looks away with his already red ear. The silence was too loud as they look at each other awkwardly. Then Lisa remembers about the soup she is cooking.

"Well, who's hungry?"
