"Blazepaw are we lost?" Crystalpaw laughed a bit. "Wh-What? No...!" He said awkwardly "Face it. We're lost." Owlpaw piped in "Fine... I... Don't remember all that mu-" Crystalpaw heard the yowl of Spiritstar and yowled "I hear our Clan!" Happily Owlpaw dashed away. "Hey... Uh, thanks..." Crystalpaw mewed walking away "Y-Your welcome!" He yowled after her.

"Crystalpaw! Owlpaw!" Spiritstar yowled "Crystalpaw! Owlpaw! Your back!" Furypaw yowled with relief. All the other cats stayed silent. Confused, Crystalpaw looked around until she saw the familiar body of a queen. Lightstep.

"Lightstep!" She wailed running over. "Oh Crystalpaw...." She smiled weakly "Please... Don't grieve over me... Like your father always said... Laugh it off...." Crystalpaw set her paw on her mother's body. Lightstep went limp. "Laugh it off..." She mewed slightly laughing. I'll miss you.... Crystalpaw thought closing her eyes.

You know when you get emotionally attached to a characters and have to make them die then cry? Yep. I cried while making this chapter.
