Continuing our mission to save the stadiums from the Dynamax problem, we prioritize helping my sister first in the Glimwood Tangle. Insey joins us at the scene to tackle the rampaging Bug Type Pokémon, which include Butterfree, Shuckle, Ninjask, Vespiquen, Accelgor, Golisopod, Vikavolt, and Centiskorch. Thanks to the combined efforts of our group, we successfully quell the chaos. In gratitude, Shelia presents us with a Rare League Card.

Moving on to the Stow-on-Side Gym, we face off against the rampaging Ghost Type Dynamax Pokémon, including Gengar, Shedinja, Sableye, Dusknoir, Chandelure, Aegislash, Dhelmise, and Dragapult. Allister's mask slips during the battle, revealing his true identity as a cute boy beneath it. After successfully calming the Dynamax Pokémon, Allister presents us with a League Card that features his unmasked appearance.

Continuing our mission, we arrive at the Acidome Gym, where we confront Poison Type Dynamax Pokémon, including Gengar, Qwilfish, Roserade, Drapion, Garbodor, Toxapex, Salazzle, and Toxtricity. Dr. Gabe's assistance proves invaluable, as he helps us in battle and the recovery of our Pokémon. After defeating the Dynamax Pokémon, Dr. Gabe graciously presents us with his rare League Card as a token of gratitude.

Our journey takes us to the Circhester Gym, where we encounter Ice Type Dynamax Pokémon, including Cloyster, Delibird, Glalie, Froslass, Vanilluxe, Beartic, Mr. Rime, and Frosmoth. Thanks to Melony's well-thought-out strategy and guidance, we successfully defeat the rampaging Pokémon and restore them to their normal state. In gratitude for our assistance, Melony presents us with her Rare League Card.

Our next stop is Bea's Laterally Gym, known for its Fighting Type Pokémon. We encounter a group of Dynamax Pokémon, including Machamp, Hitmontop, Toxicroak, Gallade, Conkeldurr, Hawlucha, Bewear, and Sirfetch'd. Bea is exceptionally cooperative, and with our combined efforts, we successfully defeat the rampaging Pokémon. In appreciation for our assistance, Bea generously rewards us with a Rare League Card and some delicious sweets from a nearby store. It's clear she has a sweet tooth!

Our next destination is the Dustill Gym, where we encounter a group of Ground Type Pokémon in their Dynamax forms. This formidable team includes Dugtrio, Steelix, Flygon, Garchomp, Seismitoad, Diggersby, Mudsdale, and Sandaconda. Nora, the Gym Leader, is determined to defeat them using her own Ground Pokémon. Despite her initial efforts, we joined forces and successfully quelled the Dynamax Pokémon. Nora appreciates our help and presents us with a Rare League Card as a token of her gratitude.

Our journey leads us to the Glaglider Gym, where we encounter a group of Dynamax Pokémon with Flying Types. This formidable team includes Charizard, Mantine, Ninjask, Togekiss, Mandibuzz, Noivern, Corviknight, and Cramorant. Glen, the Gym Leader, is concerned that these Dynamax Pokémon could pose a threat to the Flying Taxis. After successfully defeating these colossal creatures, Glen not only presents us with a Rare League Card but also shares his plans to expand the Flying Taxi service to other regions using different Pokémon.

Upon reaching Ballonlea Gym, we discover that Bede has already handled the situation with the eight rampaging Pokémon. However, he insists on a rematch with me. Despite our hurry, Ms. Opal also pushes for the battle. Reluctantly, I engage in a four-on-four battle with Bede and ultimately emerge victorious. As a result, we receive both Bede's and Opal's Rare League Cards.

Upon arriving at Bermingsteel Gym, we find that Chairman Rose and Relena have already successfully handled the situation involving the eight rampaging Steel-type Pokémon. Chairman Rose expresses his astonishment upon learning about the involvement of the two new kings in causing this chaos. Relena takes the initiative to report the situation to the council so they can select a new king and potentially dethrone the troublesome duo.

At Gordie's Steamdrift Gym, we encounter eight Pokémon in a Dynamax rampage: Sudowoodo, Solrock, Lunatone, Rhyperior, Gigalith, Barbaracle, Drednaw, and Stonjourner. Gordie's mother joins the battle to lend us a hand, thanks to her prior experience dealing with the Dynamax Pokémon at Circhester Gym. With the advantage in numbers, we successfully restored order, and Gordie expressed his gratitude by giving us his Rare League Card.

At the Hammerlocke Stadium, we assist Raihan in dealing with seven powerful Pokémon in a Dynamax rampage: Flygon, Haxorus, Hydreigon, Goodra, Noivern, Kommo-o, and Dragapult. During the intense battle, Raihan surprises us by taking a selfie together. After successfully quelling the Dynamax Pokémon, Raihan shows his appreciation by giving us his Rare League Card.

As we leave the battlefield, we encounter Sonia at the entrance of the Energy Plant. Alice inquires, "Sonia? What brings you here?"

Sonia responds, "Ah, you guys are here. Someone saw those sword and shield weirdos! They said they got through the door! But the door's closed with an electric lock. Opening it might take some time..."

I add, "So, what's the plan now? Elena and Dia are still on their extended honeymoon, and they won't be back for a while..."

Sonia is still working on the lock, "I think I've got it... Huh? That's strange..."

To our astonishment, Pikachu and Yamper collaborate, using their electricity to open the locked door. Sonia exclaims, "What?! It...it opened?! Pikachu! Yamper! I should've known! Thanks for your help!"

Both Pokémon express their gratitude, and Sonia advises, "Those two weird guys are probably up ahead. Be careful!"

As we prepare to move forward, we are surprised to see my Mom and Dad, accompanied by some International Police members. I ask, "Mom, what took you so long?"

My dad explains, "We received news about the Dynamax Pokémon rampaging in the stadiums, and then you called us about the two new kings being responsible for this."

Alice inquires, "So, are you going to arrest them?"

My mom responds, "Not just yet. We suspect they've been planning this for a while, and we don't know how many people they might have with them. For now, we need you to create a distraction and gather information on their true intentions regarding the Galar Region. After that, we'll move in to apprehend them for their crimes."

We all nod in understanding and then proceed into the Power Plant to confront the two new kings. As we rush into the Power Plant, we find Sordward accompanied by a group of followers, all of whom appear to support the new kings in their actions.

"Well, well, well? It seems that you have broken the lock and rescued the stadiums from their perils. As expected of the Champion. You, followers—give them your praise," Sordward says.

To our surprise, the followers start cheering for us, and we can't help but be baffled by the turn of events. Piers voices his discomfort, "What's with these weirdos? They really creep me out."

"To be honest, you don't seem to understand the gravity of what you've done," I respond. "Forcing Pokémon to Dynamax is reckless and dangerous. It endangers not only the Pokémon but also the people of Galar."

Sordward remains defiant, "All the lies and fake stories you all believe... We did it in order to expose the true nature of Zacian and Zamazenta!"

Lillie demands clarification, "What do you mean by their true nature?"

Sordward continues, "We have always been revered as the resplendent descendants of the real hero... It's all because you ruffians had to go and save Galar from Eternatus, and that woman went and wrote a whole book about it all!"

The followers echo his sentiments, "That's right!" "You should be ashamed!" It's clear that they believe in their cause, no matter how misguided it may be.

Sordward is unrelenting, "You said that the real heroes were Pokémon! You just carelessly changed history! What does that mean we are? You dare say that our esteemed ancestors were liars?"

Sonia, however, defends her beliefs, "Well... I could believe that you two are descendants of a Galarian king..."

Sordward continues his argument, "That's right! Compare the way things were to the way they are now. It's obvious that the old history was better! It was right! To suddenly start creating heroes left and right... It's complete rubbish!"

Sonia remains steadfast, "You're wrong! What I wrote was the truth! My hypothesis was that Zacian and Zamazenta have been protecting the Galar region since ancient times!" She's determined to stand by her research and beliefs.

Sordward reveals his twisted plan, "Well then! If we are at an impasse, perhaps we should test which truth is the most truthy. If things are really as you say, then even if we bombard them with Galar particles, they should remain calm and stalwart!"

Piers reacts with disdain, "I get it... So all those sudden Dynamax Pokémon from before were just your little experiments."

Serena is angry at their cruelty, "So you seriously want to make the two Pokémon that saved us all run amok?!"

Sordward smirks, "Hm! It seems you are indeed capable of understanding something! My adorable younger brother is wrapping up the preparations above. With Zacian and Zamazenta's true nature exposed, the council will also have no choice but to give all the authority to us!"

I assert myself, determined to stop Sordward and his followers, "You're not getting away with it." As we make our way to the elevator, Sordward and his followers attempt to use their Pokémon to stop us. I confidently add, "You know, you're not the only ones with numbers. We have strength in numbers as well."

However, to their horror, the International Police arrive at that moment, with my parents leading the way. They are here to arrest Sordward and his followers. The followers are terrified and attempt to escape, but the International Police quickly apprehend them.

As Sordward is being apprehended by the International Police, we hear him chuckle, "Ah, well, it appears that my younger brother was given enough time."

We rush up to the roof and discover Shielbert and his assistant facing off against Zamazenta. Shielbert triumphantly exclaims, "Fwahaheho! I did it! I did it, Older Brother! Looks like it came, following after the Rusted Shield! I've bombarded it with Galar particles!"

Zamazenta, looking different and in obvious distress, roars in agony. Alice yells, "Stop! Zamazenta is in pain!"

"Yes! Expose your true barbaric, brutish nature... and reveal to us exactly who the false kings are!" Shielbert says with a sinister grin.

Zamazenta, despite its pain and confusion, attempts to attack Shielbert once more. But to our surprise, Sordward, who is still being held by my Dad, yells, "Ah! Younger Brother!"

"D-don't attack me! Go into town and sow as much destruction as you can!" Shielbert gasps desperately.

However, Zamazenta isn't swayed by Shielbert's words and readies itself to attack once more. Alice quickly commands, "Espeon! Use Psychic!"

Espeon's Psychic attack manages to freeze Zamazenta in place. Sonia explains, "It's trying to suppress and calm itself, but it can't control all the power."

"Zamazenta..." Alice mutters, her concern evident.

Piers warns, "I was hopin' we could just calm it down like we did with the others. But our opponent is a Legendary Pokémon. If you're thinkin' about catchin' it, think again."

"But we still need to try," I insist as Pikachu unleashes a Thunderbolt, striking Zamazenta as Espeon releases its hold. Zamazenta retaliates with Iron Head, but Pikachu and Espeon manage to dodge the attack. Espeon then counters with Swift, hitting Zamazenta, and Pikachu follows up with Iron Tail, knocking it back.

Alice bravely approaches Zamazenta and says, "Zamazenta... are you alright?"

Zamazenta appears to be leaping toward her, and I urgently yell, "Alice! Watch out!"

However, just in the nick of time, Zacian appears and blocks the attack. Alice gasps, "Zacian?!"

As Zacian and Zamazenta exchange roars, Alice expresses her gratitude, saying, "Thanks for saving me, Zacian."

Unfortunately, Zamazenta still seems unable to control its power and rushes off. Serena observes, "Looks like it still can't control all that power..."

Concerned, Alice decides to go after Zamazenta, with Lillie offering to accompany her. Before leaving, Alice takes the Rusted Shield from Shielbert, asserting, "This belongs to Zamazenta - not you!"

With Lillie and Alice gone, Serena and I turn our attention to Zacian, who is fixated on Shielbert. Sordward manages to break free from my Dad's grip and rushes in front of his younger bother, pleading, "P-please! Don't hurt my younger brother!"

"Zacian! Wait!" I call out, and Zacian turns its attention to me. With a sigh, it backs off, and my parents take hold of Sordward and Shielbert, leading them away from the scene.

Piers acknowledges, "As expected of the Champion... You took complete control of the situation. Plus, it looks like that Pokémon is waiting for you."

Turning to Zacian, I inquire, "You want to come with me, Zacian?"

Zacian nods and responds, "Of course, Chosen one..." She then offers me a customized Poke Ball before willingly entering it to rest.

Zacian (Hero of Many Battles): The Warrior Pokemon: Fairy Type. This Pokémon has slumbered for many years. Some say it's Zamazenta's elder sister—others say the two Pokémon are rivals.

Zacian (Crowned Sword): The Warrior Pokemon: Fairy and Steel Type. Now armed with a weapon it used in ancient times, this Pokémon needs only a single strike to fell even Gigantamax Pokémon.

Sonia approaches me with excitement, exclaiming, "Wow, brilliant! Seems like you've been recognized by real royalty!"

My Mom steps in, addressing the two kings, "Kings or not, committing a crime is not the right way to assert authority, especially by causing such chaos."

Sordward lowers his head, his tone filled with shame, "Our ambitions... we got carried away..."

Shielbert echoes a similar sentiment, his voice also laced with shame, "We allowed our pride to blind us to the consequences..."

Then, my parents escort them away, taking them to face trial for their actions. It's clear that their titles as kings hold no sway over the consequences of their crimes.

Piers turns to me and says, "Ash, I think I understand why you became the Champion. But... please don't go callin' me anymore. Seems like I'm only getting called out when you're in some sticky situation." With a hint of a smile, he hands over his Rare League Card as a parting gesture.

Sonia and the assistant have a moment, and the assistant approaches Sonia, her head hung low. She says with sincerity, "Professor Sonia... I can't ask you to forgive me... But I am truly sorry for deceiving you."

Sonia responds with a hint of sarcasm, "I was really hurt at first, but I've rallied. Thanks to you, I ended up learning quite a bit... Ah, that came off a bit more sarcastic than I thought it would!"

They share a brief, awkward moment before the assistant is escorted away by the other International Police members, leaving Sonia behind to reflect on the events.

"Righto! We've stopped them from causing any harm! Still, I hope Zamazenta is OK..." Sonia frowns.

Just then, I receive a call from Lillie. I answer, "Lillie? What's going on?"

"Ash! (Hey! Zamazenta! Calm down!) Sorry, that's Alice's voice, we're in the Slumbering Weald, and Alice is doing her best to keep Zamazenta in check since it's going wild. (No, Zamazenta! Togekiss, use Moonblast!) We could use your help. In the heart of the Slumbering Weald!" Lillie says before ending the call.

"They sure sound like they've got their hands full," Serena observes.

"Zacian is worried about Zamazenta, so we should head to the Slumbering Weald quickly," I say, and we all rush to the scene.

As we arrive at the heart of the Slumbering Weald, we find Alice's clothes covered in dirt as she pets Zamazenta, speaking soothingly, "There, there... Everything's all right... You don't have to lose control. You can manage this. I know you can! You're the true hero who protected the Galar region, after all!"

Zamazenta is gradually calming down and regaining control of itself. Alice smiles, "Oh? Got everything under control? See! I knew you could do it!"

Sonia remarks, "Alice! You look a fright!"

"You guys made it! And yeah, well, I was just focused on trying to calm down Zamazenta, so..." Alice explains.

"Rushing in and trying to calm a legendary hero head-on was awfully reckless..." Sonia sighs.

"Well, that's just normal for all of us," Lillie adds as we all nod in agreement. "Besides, Zamazenta looks so happy now."

"Yeah... It does, doesn't it? Though I can tell you, things were looking pretty bad here at first!" Alice sighs.

Though to our surprise, Zamazenta also wants to join our team, and he even provides the Poke Ball to us before going in to rest.

Zamazenta (Hero of many battles): The Warrior Pokemon: Fighting Type. In times past, it worked together with a king of the people to save the Galar region. It absorbs metal that it then uses in battle.

Zamazenta (Crowned Shield): The Warrior Pokemon: Fighting and Steel Type. Its ability to deflect any attack led to it being known as the Fighting Master's Shield. It was feared and respected by all.

Sonia commends, "You really are something!"

"Yeah, that was amazing!" We turn around to find Hop, Gloria, and Victor approaching us. Alice adds, "You guys were watching?"

"Of course. To think you have Zacian and Zamazenta with you." Gloria says. "That's our greatest Champion and his partners for you!"

Hop chimes in, "We're also here for another reason. I think I've found my dream! I want to be someone who can help Pokémon in need, no matter where they are. I want to become a Pokémon Professor!"

"That sounds fantastic, Hop," I respond.

"I've been thinking about it for a while," Hop explains. "Especially after we went around helping Pokémon with the Poké Jobs and assisted the Pokémon in the stadiums before you arrived. I know I don't have much knowledge about Pokémon yet, and I lack experience, but I'm determined to learn and grow! Someday, I want to become a Pokémon Professor that you all, including you, Sonia... well, someone you'd be proud of. My path might be different from yours or Lee's, but I'll always consider you my true rival!"

I smile and respond, "I wouldn't have it any other way!"

Sonia wipes away a tear and responds, "Ahhh! No fair. You're all so young and cute. I'm tearing up."

Victor teases, "Sonia! Getting a bit weepy in your old age, eh?"

Sonia retorts, "What?! I'm still young and super energetic!"

Then she turns to Hop and says, "Say, Hop. Fancy becoming my assistant at the lab? I've got all the books and data on Pokémon you could ever want! Since you want to be a professor someday, I'll oversee your studies!"

Hop smiles, "Then I definitely want to! Only...are you sure I can really be of any help to you?"

"Of course! Mind you, it'll be a lot of work. Work's really been piling up since I lost my first assistant!" Sonia says.

"Wait! So you're saying you're offering me the position to help yourself out? Ah, fine! I'll still do a bang-up job!" Hop sighs. "You'll have my back, too—right, guys?"

"Absolutely," I confirm.

With the Rare League Cards from Hop and Victor in hand, we suddenly see my parents, Chairman Rose, and Leon approaching us. To our surprise, Sordward and Shielbert are also here.

Sonia demands, "What brings you lot here?"

"No need for any more commotion, young lady," Sordward says.

"We have come to meet with the young Masters Ash and Alice," Shielbert adds.

My mom interjects, "They haven't had the opportunity to properly apologize yet."

Leon chimes in, "And we're here to monitor their actions. After all, they are technically descendants of the original kings of Galar. It seems you all have been quite busy while I was stuck in Rose Tower, handling the Macro Cosmos situation."

Chairman Rose offers, "I once again apologize for the whole situation. But I'm confident that Dia and Elena will return soon."

"You have no idea! Those two were causing chaos with Dynamax Pokémon all over the region," Hop informs them.

"And for that, we are genuinely, deeply sorry. Look at the depths of our remorse," Sordward adds.

"We acted selfishly and brought harm to innocent Pokémon. Our actions have caused significant trouble," Shielbert acknowledges.

"Master Ash, you aided us even though we committed those terrible acts," Sordward continues. "You are indeed deserving of the throne, one could say it's a Dynamax-sized amount of worthiness," Shielbert follows up.

Their words leave me feeling a bit uneasy. Is their apology sincere, or are they suggesting something else?

"I already told you two... Zacian and Zamazenta are the true rulers here," Sonia replies with a sigh.

"That is incorrect! We have relinquished our claim to the throne. There can be no rulers other than Ash and Alice!" Sordward insists.

"Hmm. Upon closer inspection, you certainly exude a celebrity aura!" Shielbert remarks.

"It seems they're quite fond of you two," Gloria observes.

"Oh dear... Regrettably, it's time for us to depart," Sordward says.

"Our journey to apologize to those we've wronged awaits!" Shielbert adds.

My Dad and Chairman Rose then escort them away, and I turn to my mom, asking, "Mom, are they really suggesting that Alice and I..."

"Don't worry, even though the namesake is for you two, the entire council will handle everything," my mom assures me.

Serena says, "King and Queen of Galar... who would've thought?"

"Hop!" Leon exclaims. "It looks like you've found your own path in life, Hop. As your older brother... no, as your rival, you have my full support!"

"Really?" Hop gasps in surprise.

Sonia chimes in, "Oh? Leon just gave you quite the compliment. It seems like you're at a loss for words, Hop."

We all share a chuckle, and then we leave the Slumbering Weald, heading back to our respective homes. For us, it's the Dragon Manor near Bermingsteel and the Lake of Outrage.

As the days pass and our coronation unfolds, we find ourselves overwhelmed by the attention and the tedious royal obligations that come with our new roles. Hammerlocke Academy is bustling with students eager to take pictures with us, request autographs, and bask in our newfound fame. It's a stark contrast to the quiet adventures we once embarked on.

However, we use our influence to make positive changes, especially in Spikemuth, where Piers lends us his support. Together, we manage to bring a Power Spot for Dynamaxing to the town, offering new opportunities for its residents. To celebrate, Marnie and I have a friendly battle, and afterward, she presents me with her Rare League Card.

When Dia and Elena finally return from their honeymoon, they are both surprised and delighted by our accomplishments. With their return, Leon decides to take on the role of overseeing the newly built Battle Tower near the Rose Tower. I challenge him to a battle and earn his Rare League Card as well.

Even though our Galar journey has come to a close, there are still many unexplored places awaiting us. Serena and Lillie are returning to Kalos and Alola, respectively, which means Alice and I will once again be traveling together, ready to embark on new adventures.
