"Is this... Is this the power of the super-ancient Pokémon? Is this what Kyogre's power truly is? Then if we awaken Groudon... will it be a similar state that brings everything to an end?"

But Archie just laughs, and yells, "Oh well, Maxie! I was hoping that you'll be able to witness the world to the beginning! But now it doesn't look like it will be possible, sadly. But this should give you a taste that the Hoenn will be swallowed by the sea."

Maxie yells, "Are you crazy? The balance in this world is faltering. At this rate, it may be lost forever."

"So what?" Archie says, and it also causes Amber, Shelly, and the others in shock.

"How can you say that?" Amber gasps.

"Archie..." Maxie mutters before my Mom takes off the hood and yells, "Listen, you must not let the Blue Orb or you'll become obsessed with it, Archie!"

"I don't think so! Let's go, Kyogre!" Archie yells, and Shelly and Tabitha are trying to round up the Pokemon. My mom says, "That Blue Orb was created by evil people long ago to control ancient Pokemon and use them as weapons, but the power of the ancient Pokemon is powerful compared to the evil people's wisdom, and by their actions, the natural orders will began to erode, as the ancient Pokemon grew more evil, and behave more out of hand, the people who control them also became more evil. This is why the two orbs are sealed away in Mt. Pyre. To prevent mankind from repeating the same mistakes!"

Maxie asks, "Exactly who are you anyway?"

"I'm the leader of the International Police and also the vice leader of Team Alpha." My Mom says, "We are the ones who have Groudon, and right now he's sealed in the Cave of Origin, for it has the lava for it to rest.

Maxie says, "You... We will make our way to Sootopolis. It is most likely the case that Kyogre is also making its way to that city. If Kyogre learns that Groudon is in the deepest reaches of the Cave of Origin, which lies in the heart of Sootopolis City... it will be more trouble. There's nothing else we can do!"

As Archie continues to wreak havoc, we also notice another person arriving with Salamence. She is wearing a Team Aqua uniform. She yells, "Archie! Give up the Blue Orb at once!"

"Not on your life! Kyogre, get him!" Archie tries to battle the girl, but the girl is also getting some trouble. And just then, our greatest fear has come, the Blue Orb is now inside Archie just like before, and the girl yells, "No! They've bonded it!"

Archie is now laughing like a maniac, and Team Aqua is now panicking with Maxie says, "You fools are coming with us. We have brought this calamity upon ourselves. It is only right that we take responsibility and clean up after our mistakes."

"You're right. Let's go." Shelly is the one who says as they come with us. While we're heading to Sootopolis City, Maxie says, "As an adult, I feel I must first apologize for the way things have turned out. I am truly sorry... But I must ask for your assistance. Won't you help us avert this crisis? If we work together, I believe we'll be able to overcome this ultimate threat."

And while we're moving, Steven also arrives and he says, "Guys! I'm sorry I could not be here sooner."'

My mom says, "Indeed, but we can ignore that. Right now it seems that there is someone who is capable of fighting Archie and Kyogre right now."

Steven notices the Pokemon and says, "Terrible... So this is what was being depicted in that painting in Granite Cave. If this doesn't stop, all Hoenn—no, the entire world—will drown. Nothing could live in such a world—neither Pokémon nor humans!"

"That's why we're heading to Sootopolis. We can't let Kyogre get there to disrupt the Groudon that Wallace and I took from the Seafloor Cavern." My Mom says as he offers assistance to go to Sootopolis City.

When we get there, we find Wallace and, much to our surprise, Reisa, there. I say, "It's nice to see you again Reisa."

"Hello, I just come back with my first Grand Festival and now this happens? What the hell is going on here?" Reisa asks.

"We can talk about this later." Wallace says. "Good to see you again, but what happened to Pikachu?"

"Pikachu has absorbed the Red Orb." I say. "But enough about that, we need to stop Kyogre from getting close to the Cave of Origin."

Steven mutters, "This rainAS... People and Pokémon need water to live. So why does this rain fill us with so much dread? The rain clouds massing over Sootopolis keep building... Soon they will extend over all of Hoenn... If that were to happen..."

We rush to the Cave of Origin, where we meet up with both Team Magma and Team Aqua. "Team Magma and Team Aqua..."

But much to our surprise, Pikachu suddenly blasts the entrance of the cave open and rush inside. I yell, "Pikachu! Where are you going?"

My Mom says, "I think it is going towards Groudon. Ash, we need to get Pikachu back."

Maxie suddenly says, "...I know what must be done. I will entrust this to you now. It is the fruit of our collaboration with the Devon Corporation, and it represents the height of Hoenn's technological knowledge and skill."

Shelly says, "And I'm going to hand over the thing we developed to you kids."

Alice and I receive the two suits, and Tabitha says, "We had actually been preparing that in anticipation of making contact with Groudon... But at this point, it doesn't look like there's any hope of that for us... There's nothing we can do except leave it to you."

Shelly adds, "And this super high-performance protective suit was made with the combined technology of the Devon Corporation and Team Aqua! We actually prepared it in anticipation of coming into contact with Kyogre. I'll just leave it with you."

Maxie says, "And yet... Even with that Magma Suit and the Aqua Suit, is it probable that anyone could pass through that magma, now fiercer than ever due to the forces of nature?"

"That's true. It is very possible that its energy could be far greater than our calculations show." Blaise adds.

Wallace says, "There's nothing to fear. If Ash and Alice manage to get Pikachu, the Red Orb that they bear. Its ancient powers will protect both them and the Pokemon."

As we are putting on the suits, Wallace turns to us, "No man or woman from Sootopolis is permitted to enter the Cave of Origin. But you must go. But you must go. Together with your Red Orb. You must go regardless of what awaits you inside that cave..."

Amber says, "We'll also get our people together up top here, to help any folks and Pokémon in trouble."

Maxie says, "Child, you... No. I have no right to call you "child." Fellow Trainers. I have caused great harm, and for that, I apologize most sincerely. But now we find ourselves at an impasse, and you and your Pokémon are all that humanity has to count on in its stand against Kyogre..."

Before we can go in, Brendan also arrives and he says, "Guys! When I saw the news about Sootopolis on my Rotom Phone, and there you were... Well, anyway, all I could think of was coming to help! You don't know how glad I am to see that you're still in one piece."

"Yeah, but you come in a really awkward time..." I sigh.

"Bwuh?! Is that Team Aqua? And Team Magma?! OK, I don't really know what to say right now—I'm kind of dumbfounded. Look, I get that this is probably something way bigger than I've ever imagined. So, I won't bother with any questions now. I'm gonna find out what I should do to help, and then I'm going to do whatever I can. You'd better go do the same. I'll always be right there behind you. You're my best friends, after all!"

Then both Alice and I rush into the cave, and when we find Pikachu, we find that it is using Thunderbolt on Groudon. Alice asks, "What is Pikachu doing?"

And we also notice that Team Rocket somehow gets inside the cave without Wallace and the others' watching, but they are sent flying. I yell, "Pikachu! Please stop!"

Just then, he keeps firing the thunder attack, and now Groudon is awakened. Groudon is roaring as the suit is protecting us from the heat that it emits.

"Do you read me? It is I, the great Maxie. A device built into that suit has donned allows me to talk to you. We have received the readings from your suit. They suggest that Groudon has appeared. Is my supposition correct? Does it stand before you now? You must listen... Do not waste even a single second. Leap upon Groudon's mighty back. Then le- take you to - dee-est... O- th- c..."

Just then, we find Pikachu on top of Groudon, and both Alice and I are doing the same as we hop onto its back as Groudon walks through the lava. "Pikachu!"

Just then, Groudon stops and he suddenly speaks to me. "Chosen one... is that you?"

"Groudon. It is me. I want you to remove the Red Orb from Pikachu." Groudon roars before the Red Orb is now getting away from Pikachu, and Pikachu falls unconscious as Alice is holding him.

"Thanks, Groudon. And also, Kyogre is outside wreaking havoc. Only you can stop him!" I say.

"I see. I need your assistance if we wish to stop Kyogre." Groudon says. I nod as after we land on a solid platform, he gives me the Pokeball for Groudon.

Groudon: The Continent Pokemon: Ground Type. Groudon has long been described in mythology as the Pokémon that raised lands and expanded continents. This Pokémon took to sleep after a cataclysmic battle with Kyogre.

Then Groudon is starting to undergo a transformation, and I say, "Here we go..."

After that, Groudon breaks out of the cave, with me riding on his back. Groudon is facing Kyogre, who has arrived with Archie on his back.

"Groudon's here..."

"Guys!" Alice rushes to the others, and May asks, "How's Pikachu?"

"He's fine, Ash manages to get the Red Orb out of his body." Alice says.

"So that's the Primal Reversion of Groudon..." Groudon roars as it creates a Desolate Land, and now the rain stops and a harsh sunlight is shining on them.

Kyogre is trying to throw a giant wave on Sootopolis City, but I command Groudon to use Solar Beam, breaking the tidal wave.

Then the girl from the Salamence has arrived and she says, "Groudon is stopping Kyogre from destroying the island. But in order to do that, Groudon first need to get out of the Cave or Origin. So that's why he uses the Red Orb to ask Pikachu to help."

"Then that's why the Red Orb bonded with Pikachu..." My Mom says.

"Groudon! Use Precipice Blades!" I yell as the attack hits Kyogre, Kygore decides to drag Groudon to the water, and I was also about to get drowned before Groudon gets back up and blocks the Origin Pulse.

"The Desolate Land prevents Water Attacks on Groudon." Alice says.

I also notice that the others are trying to knock on the ship where Archie is riding. And at the same time, Pikachu wakes up and now it is on my shoulder again.

"Pikachu, you're okay now?" I ask, and he gives me a nod. "Okay, Groudon, use Solar Beam. Pikachu! Thunderbolt!"

With both attacks combined, Kyogre is finally down, and the Blue Orb gets out of Archie's body and falls towards Kyogre. Kyogre also crashes into the ocean once more, but the impact causes Pikachu to fall off my shoulder.

"Pikachu!" I yell as I try to jump into the water to save Pikachu. But when I have Pikachu in my hands, I can't believe what I'm seeing, the Blue Orb is now connecting with Kyogre and now it is going a Primal Reversion.

"Kygore!" I gasp as this is going to be trouble. But Kyogre only wants to get us back on the water. After we get out, we see that Team Aqua manage to wake Archie up, and he doesn't remember a thing.

"Ash! Pikachu!" Everyone is delighted that we're okay, but noticing the rain has become stronger my mom says, "Oh no! It's Primordial Sea!"

"We have to stop it somehow." Steven says.

Kyogre then gives me the Pokeball and he says, "Chosen one, thank you for saving me. Now you must recall me and Groudon if you want to end the mess."

I nod as I send out Flygon while recalling both ancient Pokemon into the Pokeballs.

Kyogre: The Sea Basin Pokemon: Water Type. Kyogre is named in mythology as the Pokémon that expanded the sea by covering the land with torrential rains and towering tidal waves. It took to sleep after a cataclysmic battle with Groudon.

After getting back to the shore, everyone rushes to us and May says, "Ash, it's really over, isn't it?"

"It is." I say as they all sigh in relief.

"Ash, we owe you great thanks." Steven says. "Look above you. The sky over Sootopolis has returned to normal."

Maxie looks up in the air and says, "The power, which had been pooling in the Cave of Origin and the Seafloor Cavern, is now flowing back out into the world..."

Archie also looks up and mutters, "It's...so warm... Just now my heart felt like it was about to be crushed by uncertainty and terror, but now it feels like it's been softly set at ease..."

Maxie closes his eyes, "The land...or the sea... Humans...or Pokémon... When we sought to bring happiness to only one... we nearly destroyed both. Now the world's balance is restored to its natural state. Perhaps this is the time we must reconsider our ideals... Do you not agree? Archie..."

"... Yeah. You're right. Maxie... what you're saying is only natural. I know that. But still... I can't just change... The world I believed to be ideal... The kind of world that I dreamed of making, where I could live alongside my beloved Pokémon... That hasn't changed. I know I've got nothing to stand on, after causing this much hurt, but... Shelly, Amber... Sorry...and thanks."

Amber says, "That's right. You caused a big fuss there when you almost brought about the downfall of the world! No matter how much you beg, no one can forgive that!"

Shelly adds, "But... Do you really need their forgiveness, though? Even if you are a big dolt who no one in the world will ever forgive... I'll... I'll stay with you! I'll stay with you forever!"

Amber says, "She's not the only one, so please... Stop going out on your own and acting crazy. You're...our... Team Aqua's leader, and we're your friends, after all."

Blaise says, "It's as if the uncertainty and fear from moments ago never even existed. My heart feels like it's been softly set at ease..."

Tabitha says, "Leader... Without a doubt, you have committed an offense that can never be forgiven. You have wronged not only Team Magma but all living things on this planet, whether great or small. However, that is precisely why you must now set things right. You must continue to atone for the sins you have committed, even at the risk of your own life... To set right the wrongs you've done, without running away in fear—isn't that how an adult accepts responsibility? ... Should you find the resolve to do so inside yourself, then I... Team Magma Admin Tabitha... I will serve at your side as counsel forever."

"And I... Team Magma Admin Blaise... will do the same." Blaise.

"Tabitha... Blaise... thank you." Maxie says before walking to us. "Hmph... We adults have a duty to pass this world along to the next generation. A world worth passing along. What is it we truly need to do to create such a world? Take each other's hand in friendship? Or fight for the right of supremacy? I think it is time we consider this again with our team members and break down the wall between us."

Archie also comes and says, "He's right. What kinda world are we adults gonna make? What kinda world do we wanna pass to these kids? If we haven't even figured that out ourselves, we're never gonna get anywhere. So are we gonna make a world where everyone can coexist together? Or, after all, is it gonna be a world that we claim by force? One that we fight and scrabble over... I don't know, but I think we can at least start by giving it some time and thinking it over. All of us can do that, whether we're Team Aqua or Team Magma or whatever..."

Then both teams are leaving, and I ask Mom, "Shouldn't we try to arrest them?"

My Mom says, "... Team Magma and Team Aqua are made up of people with completely opposing ideals and goals. But perhaps even they can learn to meet halfway...one small concession at a time. I know it's too much to expect that everything will change at once, but... I hope this crisis might at least help take them that first vital step forward."

Steven says, "I imagine that many changes are happening now all across Hoenn. I hope you will be able to travel this world and see its richness with your own eyes—and revel in its newness in your own heart."

Wallace says, "Indeed. But for the present, you may first wish to challenge this city's Pokémon Gym. The gym leader is our master Juan. He's strong. But the way you are now, you should be capable of battling him on an equal footing."

"So Master Juan is the Gym Leader... that's good to know." Alice says.

"And when you travel the world, you should try to use this. This flute is one of my favorite items." Steven says as he hands us the Eon Flute, much to our surprise. "This Eon Flute is proof of the bond between you and your Latios and Latias. No matter how far you may be from one another, play that flute and they will surely fly straight to you. Then it can take to the sky, soaring above the land with you astride its back. Yes, just like when we first encountered Latias and Latios at Alto Mare..."

My mom says, "People, Pokémon, nature itself... Our survival in this world depends on all of us living together in harmony. I am wondering how the world will continue to change from this point on... It fills me with an inexplicable excitement."

"You're right." I say.

"Guys... As you and your Pokémon live and grow in this changed world, I wonder what effect it will have on you. What will you think about? What ideals will you believe in? If we do get the chance to meet again, I hope you will be able to show me and my team the answers you've found. Until then..." Then Steven decides to also leave as we bid farewell.

Brendan says, "So it's all over... Phew! It feels like we can finally relax, huh? I guess that now's the time to say thanks for all you've done, guys. You know, we set out from Littleroot at the same time, but... It seems like you're just dashing ahead by yourself and leaving me behind... I feel like we're not even on the same level anymore, you know? ... It's kinda lonely thinking like that... Or it would be if I really thought that! But...well, you did do something pretty amazing. So take it easy for a while, OK, friends? Later!"

Brendan also leaves, and I say, "Uncle Wallace, is it possible that we can take a rest at your place, all this saving world business is getting me tired..."

"Of course." Wallace says as we all head to Wallace's house for a rest. We also notice that the girl with the Salamence already disappeared, I wonder who is she and where is she?

This is the end of the Team Magma and Team Aqua battle. And Ash gets two more legendaries in his team. And Guess who the mysterious girl is, she will be appearing once more after the league conference.
