At the gate towards Route 5, there is a man named Mr. Bonding who is explaining what is 'O Powers.' Even though we already know what this is about back in the Hoenn Region. And then we finally arrive at Route 5, also known as Versant Road, where there is a roller staking park in front of us.

When I'm training Lucario there, Lucario seems to sense something as he throws an Aura Sphere. I ask, "Lucario, what's wrong?"

The move is also deflected by another aura sphere, and that's when we hear yelling, "Wait, Lucario!"

The opposing Lucario stops as a girl in a roller skate costume comes and says, "Sorry about that! Are you OK? I was just doing some special training with my Lucario when all of a sudden it dashed off... Hey, Lucario! What's going on with you? Did you get drawn in by Lucario's aura or something?"

"Well, I think maybe your Lucario wants to battle my Lucario?" I ask the girl.

After we introduce ourselves, the girl says, "I'm Korrina, the Shalour City Gym Leader. If you're collecting Gym Badges, I'm sure we'll be battling sooner or later! I'll be looking forward to it. I hope you know how to roll with the punches!"

As I am expecting for her to have a battle, she just turns and says, "Lucario, we have to go now, Granpa is going to be worried."

The opposing Lucario stares at mine before leaving, and David says, "So she's a gym leader... that's good to know."

"I'm still confused as to what she's doing here..." Serena says.

Then we meet up with Tierno and Trevor. Trevor sighs, "My goodness... Pokémon hordes are certainly intense..."

"Yeah! They're just like a dance team made up of Pokémon, aren't they?" Tierno asks.

"Oh, Tierno, do you ever think about anything besides dancing?" "Nope! Even during Pokémon battles, I'm always checkin' out their moves! And then my feet just started moving, too! I can't even help it, y'know? Like with Swords Dance! I love it! I guess that's why I can never win..."

That's when they spot us, and he says, "Oh, hey, it's Ash and Serena! Do your Pokémon know any sweet moves? Show me in a battle!"

I say, "Sure, I like to battle with you."

He uses a Corphish to battle one-on-one, and of course, I choose Pikachu for the choice. Corphish tries to distract Pikachu with dance moves, but Pikachu manages to land a hit and defeat him. "That was some nice footwork!"

Trevor says, "Good to see you, Ash and Serena. It really does seem as though Tierno can only think about dancing and moves. When a horde of Pokémon popped out, he just stood there watching them..."

"Well, yeah, Trevs! Coming up with the world's best Pokémon dance IS my dream, after all! I was born to dance! I won't ever stop! Not with moves like this!" Tierno says.

"That's indeed a perfect dream for you, Tierno. I guess I should show just as much dedication to my dream of completing the Pokédex, then! It's good to be serious about some things!"

Then Trevor wants to give us some Honey, even though there aren't some honey trees like in Sinnoh, but I think this is what makes the hordes appear. I know about hordes back in Hoenn, and they are sometimes annoying. And just after they leave, we manage to capture a Skiddo for ourselves.

Skiddo: The Mount Pokemon: Grass Type. If it has sunshine and water, it doesn't need to eat, because it can generate energy from the leaves on its back.

Then we notice some Furfrou with different styles with their trainers, and Serena says, "Those Furfrou sure look different from one another."

"It seems so, they look like they have been groomed." I say.

"Wow, I really want to see how they groom." Bonnie says in excitement.

Just then, we see a Furfrou walking towards them, it doesn't have a style, but he is sniffing on me.

"What's wrong?" I ask, then it barks, "You seems different. Are you Ash Ketchum?"

"Yes?" I'm confused. "That is me?"

Furfrou says, "I heard about you from a lot of people. And I want to be your Pokemon."

Bonnie asks, "Guys, what does he say?"

"It seems like this Furfrou wants to be Ash's Pokemon," Elline says.

"Seriously?" Clemont asks in shock. "Just like that? No reason?"

"I guess so." Serena says. "Pokemon sure are mysterious."

"Okay, Furfrou. Here is the Pokeball." I say as I hand out the Pokeball. Furfrou then touches it and gets inside. After 3 shakes, it is signaled captured.

Furfrou: The Poodle Pokemon: Normal Type. Trimming its fluffy fur not only makes it more elegant but also increases the swiftness of its movements.

"Wow, that was an easy catch." Serena says.

"You are right." I nod as I send him out. "By the way..."

I take out my own style case, David says, "You're going to style your Furfrou on your own?"

"You realized that Lillie and I took those styling lessons before, right?" I say while turning to Furfrou. "Furfrou, do you want me to style your fur?"

"You can do that?" Furfrou asks in shock. "Then I want a Star Trim."

Then I decide to carefully cut its fur, and then use the dye color to help. After it's done, everyone is amazed at how it looks just like a Star Trim Furfrou. Furfrou likes the style and now he's licking my face.

"Hahaha...stop it, Furfrou, it tickles." I say while laughing.

Clemont says, "It looks really like the Star Trim we see in the books. Ash, you are a genius."

"Thanks, Clemont." I say.

As we continue on the road, we hear a sound, "Wonder what that noise was?"

"What noise?" Serena asks.

Clemont asks, "I didn't hear anything."

Elline asks, "Maybe you imagined it?"

"No, I definitely heard something." Just then, my stomach growls, and I know this is not the sound that I heard. When David tries to think that the sound was my stomach, I say, "No, that's not the same sound..."

"Wait, I hear something now." Serena says, agreeing with me.

It is then we see a man with a Diggersby passing through us on a jeep and going at high speed.

"That was close." David says.

"What's that guy's problem?" Serena says.

"Out of the way!" Just then, we turn around and see Officer Jenny and her Manectric rushing with the motorcycle. David says, "If Officer Jenny is after that guy..."

"Then that crazy driver could possibly be a wanted criminal!" Clemont says.

"There could be trouble!" Bonnie says.

"Let's go and check it out!" We decide to check out what's going on, but the problem is that both of them already disappeared from sight. Then we notice a cage with a Scatterbug coming out.

"It's a Scatterbug!" Elline says. Scatterbug is trying to scare us off, but after assuring her that we're not enemies, the Scatterbug falls to the ground.

"It looks kinda weak. We'd better hurry and take it to a Pokemon Center!" Bonnie says.

"It's over this way! Let's go!" Serena says as we all head to the Pokemon Center. After healing Scatterbug, I also healed mine because it has been battling a lot. She says, "Your Scatterbug doesn't come from around this area, not to mention they are from different areas as well."

"Wait, you can tell just by looking?" I ask with confusion.

Nurse Joy then shows them Vivillion on the main screen each with different Wing Patterns.

"I'd be very interested to know where you found those Scatterbug." Nurse Joy says.

"One of them is mine that I caught in Santalune Forest, as for the other one-" Before I can reply, a knot is thrown around my wrist and pulled backward.

"Well, I've got you!" We turn around and see Officer Jenny and her Manectric growling at us. "Now don't make a move, or you'll be in a whole lot more trouble than you're already in!"

"Move? You've already got me tied up!" I say angrily.

"Believe me, I know who you are! If you have the stolen Scatterbug then you must work with Dolan, the Pokemon Smuggler!" Officer Jenny says.

"No way! We were chasing after you because we wanted to help you, Officer Jenny!" Clemont says.

"On the way, we found a big cage and Scatterbug was coming out of it!" I say.

"Then that means..." Officer Jenny says.

"Somehow the Pokemon Smuggler must have dropped the cage." Nurse Joy says.

Officer Jenny then looks at everyone and she can tell in their eyes that we are telling the truth. She then leaves the rope and apologizes. In the cafeteria, we continue to conversate.

Bonnie asks, "So what is a Pokemon Smuggler?"

Officer Jenny says, "Pokemon Smugglers are bad people who steal and then sell Pokemon online to unscrupulous Pokemon collectors the world over."

"First they steal Pokemon, and then they sell them online?" Elline asks.

"Right. Dolan's a Pokemon smuggler. He specializes in Vivillon so he grabs every Scatterbug and Spewpa he can get his thieving hands on."

"So he must be keeping lots of them at his hideout!" Serena says. "All those poor, helpless Scatterbug and Spewpa..."

"Yes, I'm sure he's got countless Pokemon. And once they evolve into Vivillon he sells them at a premium." Officer Jenny says.

"There's no excuse for that!" I say. "What an awful guy."

Officer Jenny nods, and then they see the two Scatterbugs starting to get restless and scattering around in a circle. After that, they start to glow and they evolve into Spewpa.

Spewpa: The Scatterdust Pokemon: Bug Type. Evolve from Scatterbug at LV:9. It lives hidden within thicket shadows. When predators attack, it quickly bristles the fur covering its body in an effort to threaten them.

"I've never seen a Pokemon evolve right in front of my eyes!" Bonnie says.

"Well, evolution is a progress that some Pokemon have, Pokemon gain experiences so that they can be stronger, and some of them will be able to change their visual appearances. Other evolutions like Pikachu can be achieved with High Friendship, and Evolution Stones, I know that some Pokemon also evolve with the help of Trading." I say.

Clemont then notices the wild Spewpa and says, "There seems to be something in Spewpa's fur."

"Yeah, I wonder what it could be." Officer Jenny says.

David takes out a magnifying glass and says, "It looks like some sort of chip that's used for transmitting signals!"

"A signal? But for what?" Elline asks.

"I know! Dolan must have implanted that chip as a tracking device, so he could hunt down any Pokemon that might get away from him!" Officer Jenny says.

"Then he might be close by!" Serena says.

"Well, if he is, I'll get him!" I say. Then we find that Spewpa also wants to help saving the wild Spewpa's friends that are captured, and Sererna says, "I have an idea. First, we'll let Dolan take Spewpa back and then we'll follow, using the transmitter's signal. That way, he'll lead us to his hideout and all the Pokemon, too!"

"And that'll make it easy to rescue all of Spewpa's stolen friends!" David says.

"That's a great plan, but do you think you could really pull that off?" Officer Jenny asks.

"We happen to have two inventors in the house." Serena says.

David says, "No, Clemont. You're not inventing new machines now. We have Rotom Phones who can help us do the work."

Then we have Zoroark use Illusion to become a Spewpa, and then he manages to sneak into the small cage. That's when Dolan shows up and takes it to the hideout. When we arrive at the hideout, I have Froakie to see if anyone's inside that building, after checking that there's nobody, we're safe to go forward, but that's when everyone except for Serena and I are trapped in a net.

"Well, well, well. Guess I missed two Pokemon and two kids." Dolan shows up and I grit my teeth, "Dolan!"

"How about that, heard of me, huh?" Dolan says.

"Let all our friends, go!" Serena says.

"Give me a break! Nobody tricks me and gets away with it!" Then he shows Zoroark tied in a net. "You punks are responsible for this, aren't you?"

"Zoroark!" I yell.

"Trying to trick me with Illusion, but I'll get even with you by selling a rare Zoroark, too!" Dolan says as we are now angry.

"You're not doing that!" I say.

Then he sends out Diggersby to take both of our Spewpa, even though one is my Pokemon. Froakie wants to battle, and he has a great advantage against a Ground Type like Diggersby.

Dolan orders Mud Shot, which Froakie dodges and counters with Bubble. Diggersby disappears under the ground with Dig and hits Froakie despite Ash's warnings. While Froakie can't dodge in mid-air, Diggersby uses Double Slap. As Froakie lands it prepares to retaliate with a Water Pulse, but Diggersby uses Hammer Arm and knocks Froakie down.

"Finish with Hammer Arm!" Dolan yells, but the Spewpa jump forward and use Protect. At the same time, Spewpa is acting strange, and is running around in circles, eventually starting glowing as they are evolving. But what they see is beyond their expectation. A Vivillon has a pattern of a Pokeball and a Pink one with flowers on it.

Vivillon: The Scale Pokemon: Bug and Flying Type. Evolve from Spewpa at LV:12. Vivillon with many different patterns are found all over the world. These patterns are affected by the climate of their habitat.

"I have never seen those Vivillon patterns before." Clemont says.

"Me neither." David says. "Those must be new patterns of Vivillon."

"Those two new patterns, just think about how much money I will get after selling them! Scatterbug and Spewpa, they're all fantastic moneymakers!" Dolan says with greed in his eyes, much to my disgust. "Oh man. That guy! You only think of Pokemon as a way to make money!"

We then command Vivillon to counter-attack with Stun Spore which sends Diggersby crashing to the floor, unable to battle. Dolan whips out a net to capture Vivillon by hand, but his hand is lassoed by none other than Officer Jenny.

"Stop!" Jenny says. "Or prepare for an Electro Ball!"

"If you still think I'm gonna listen to anything you say, give me a break!" Dolan says as he tries to approach Officer Jenny.

Two Vivillons nod at each other and rain down their scales, which have the effect of quelling one's combative spirit. Dolan gives in easily. Then we all save the Pokemon and humans alike.

After praising our Pokémon, the Spewpa gather around us, and they all simultaneously evolve into different forms of Vivillon. "Just how many forms are there?" Bonnie asks.

"I can tell that with those two new forms, there are a total of 20 forms." I say. After that, a lot of Vivillon fly away, making a beautiful sight, but with the exception of 19, including the Pokeball one.

"Huh? Why didn't you guys go with them?" I ask in confusion, and then the 20 of them start to fly in circles around Serena and me, much to our confusion.

"Wow, they look so cute." Bonnie exclaims. "And beautiful as well. I am really jealous of you guys..."

"Well, I think this dance sure is a special way to show their thanks." David replies with a smile.

Officer Jenny smiles and says, "Well, it seems like all of them want to come with you since you are the one that frees them from Dolan, the smuggler."

"Is that so?" Serena asks, and the Vivillon all nods.

Eventually, we manage to capture all 20 of them, and they are going to be in the Bug Manor to play with other Bug Type Pokemon, or in the Flying Manor since they can fly in the sky as free as they want.

Here is a new chapter, and in this chapter, you can see that Ash and Serena have 20 different patterns of Vivillon with them. I hope you like this chapter and the next chapter will be related to Froakie.
