In the Spikemuth of the Galar Region, Golly and Gladion are now searching for Dark Gem. Gladion says, "This town sure looks like Po Town in the Alola Region."

"I know, this was the base of Team Yell, and there is a gym that can't be used for Dynamax." Golly says, "A famous singer, Piers, is the gym leader until he gave it to Marnie, his sister. They are both leaders of Team Yell, and they are just a cheering squad rather than a criminal group."

"I see." Gladion says, "But what is Dynamax? Is that the giant Pokemon that destroyed most of the regions?"

"You are correct, people in Galar like to see how giant Pokemon fight in the league, which is why the gyms in the Galar Region are big and wide." Golly says.

Gladion nods as they notice the Dark Gem in front of them, it is placed on the stage where the gym battle is having. "That's it? I mean...that's how we get the Dark Gem? We just need to get it from over there?"

"I guess so." Golly says as she takes the gem, but suddenly, as they get the gem, they can only see nothing but blackness.

"Hey, who turned off the lights?" Gladion asks, and Golly says, "We are outside, there is no such thing as a light. I think that the Dark Gem made us blind as we can't see anything in front of us."

"What? Then how are we going to move if we can't see anything?" Gladion asks, now being worried.

"Just calm down, Gladion. Now please put the gem down onto the ground." Golly says as he puts the gem down to the ground, and then they can see anything again.

"Now I can see anything again." Gladion says, "What is wrong with this gem?"

Golly says, "I think I have an idea about this. We can't use our skin to touch the gem, if we did, then we will be blinded by the darkness."

They try to use their gloves to touch the gem, but it is doing the same thing as they are blinded once again. Once they put it back down, Gladion says, "I guess it is not right as well."

"So it means that we can't use any means to touch the gem...then how are we going to take the gem?" Golly asks in confusion.

"And I thought this was the easiest mission...I guess I am wrong." Gladion says.

Golly thinks for a second and says, "What if we try to attack the gem?"

"What do you mean by that?" Gladion asks in confusion.

Golly uses Obstagoon and she asks to attack with Double-Edge and Snarl. When Golly picks up the gem again, she notices that she can see from the outside, with only one-seventeenth.

"I get it, so we have to attack the gem with the combination of Dark Type move and the other type move. That way we can make sure to get it with our hands."

"So now we tried the Normal and Dark combination...we need to try the other combination as well." Gladion says as he sends out Scrafty, "Use Beat Up and Focus Punch."

The Scraftry attacks the gem that is on Golly's hand, and then they can see another one-seventeenth. "It's working. We have to do all of them." Golly says.

They then use Mandibuzz to use Brave Bird and Dark Pulse at the same time, which activates another piece of the light in the darkness.

"What is Poison and Dark Type?" Golly asks, and Gladion says, "I know Skuntank is one."

It uses Night Slash along with the Belch to activate another one, then they use Kroododile to use Foul Play and Earthquake, and Tyranitar to use Crunch and Rock Silde.

"We need a Bug and Dark Type, is there even one to begin with?" Gladion asks.

"No, there aren't. But I think we can use Drapion since it was a Bug Type before it turns into Dark Type." Golly says as she commands the Pokemon to use X-Scissors and Knock Off.

The Spiritomb is next one as it uses Sucker Punch and Shadow Ball. Next is Bisharp, and it uses Assurance and Iron Head to knock it open. Incineroar is next as it uses Darkest Lariat and Flare Blitz. Sharpedo uses Bite and Aqua Jet to open another one.

"It sure is working, we need to continue." Golly says as Gladion nods. The next one is Cacturne, it uses Payback and Needle Arm. Morpeko is next as it uses Aura Wheel and Power Trip. Malamar is next as it uses Throat Chop and Psycho Cut. Weavile uses Ice Shard and Thief for the next one.

"Good, we need two more and we can finish it. But are there any more Dark moves that we haven't used?" Golly asks.

"I know, we can have Hydreigon use Brutal Swing." Gladion says as he tells Hydreigon to use the move and Dragon Pulse. And finally, with the Grimmsnarl they use Spirit Break and False Surrender to finish the job.

"Great, we don't need to worry about the vision when we take the gem." Golly says as the two of them are relieved.

"I am glad that it is over." Gladion says. "I wonder why do you choose the type that are for evil purposes...Poison, Ghost and Dark?"

"Well, because I like these type, in fact, we all have favorite type as well, like Trenor, he likes Ground, Rock and Steel, as they are related. And Minami likes Normal, Psychic and Fairy. Insey likes Flying, Grass and Bug, Mark likes Fighting, Fire and Water and Brother likes Electric, Ice and Dragon."

"That is strange if you ask me..." Gladion says. "Why would Ash like Ice and Dragon?"

"That I don't know as well." Golly says, as she gets a call from Ash. "I wonder why he has to call me of all times?"

As she picks up the call, she asks, "Brother? What's wrong?"

"Golly, how is your progress?" Ash asks, and Golly says, "I got all three of the gems. And you?"

"We got the three gems as well. We have to use all Dragon Pokemon with different type to unlock it." Ash sighs.

"We are actually the same here." Golly says, "We have to use all Dark Pokemon with different type to unlock it as well." Golly says.

"Oh, I wonder why did they do that. Anything weird coming from you?" Ash asks, and Golly says, "Well, except for Gladion finally reunited with his father, and we have a lot of evil souls in our pocket to be cleansed, other than that, there is nothing. How about you and the others?"

"I just called them, Insey said that she was being stalked by Paul, Trip and Professor Sycamore. But they manage to get rid of them in the end."

"Oh my, they didn't hurt her, right?" Golly asks.

"Of course they didn't, but Insey told them about our plan, so that they know about what we are planning." Ash shakes his head.

"Anything else?" Golly asks, and Ash says, "Trenor's group has been chased by those murderers who killed our mother, but thanks to them, we know why they weren't able to be killed. Some of my Pokemon are still alive, so we manage to get them back."

"That is great." Golly says, "What about Minami?"

"Apparently, she was being accompanied by Alain." This causes her to widen her eyes. "Why is he accompany her? Don't tell me you have Alain joining our group."

"I did, and apparently Minami somehow developed a crush on him despite her vow of hating humans." Ash sighs. "Maybe she is about to become soft."

"Okay?" Golly says, "And for Mark?"

"Mark seems to open up to Serena a little, and that is a good thing."

"Okay." Golly says. "Did anything happen to you as well?"

"Well, because of the Electric Gem, it creates a seven year old daughter for us, and we somehow have a daughter."

"What? Are you for real?" Golly asks, "Won't it be trouble for you since you two have a daughter?"

"A daughter?" Gladion is also surprised to learn that Ash and Serena have a daughter as well.

"Yeah, but she proved herself to be capable as she helps us get the Ice Gem, and the fact that she has Pokemon and one of them is a Chesnaught that can also does the Bond Phenomenon like me and Serena."

"Okay, this really is weird. We'll get back to the base, I want to hear the full story about it."

"Okay." Ash says as he ends the call.

Golly is now sitting at the bench and she says, "Wow, for some reason, I have become an aunt with a niece..."

"How did it happen all of a sudden?" Gladion asks, and Golly says, "Brother said that Electric Gem has powers to fuse their auras just like affinity... I wonder if every gem has their own specific powers..."

"Specific powers...like how the Dark Gem manages to make us blind?" Gladion asks, Golly says, "I guess not, I think there are not only powers, there are also risks. The Dark Gem has some powers that we don't know...but we know the risk is that those who touch it might be blinded unless you find a way to suppress it."

"Okay...and my dad says that the Poison Gem is capable of boosting the Pokemon like the Beast Boost ability...and the Ghost Gem is capable of summoning the ghosts, they are not risks but powers, right?" Gladion asks.

"That might be true. So all we need to do is to research how the 18 gems do and what are the risks of the 18 gems." Golly says.

"I guess so." Gladion says. As they leave the Galar Region.

The traitors are now at the bottom of the Mt. Silver, they see how the snow and the cold wind are blowing around the mountain and Iris yells, "Why is this place full of snow? I hate snow!"

"Maybe Ash is the one that does that, so that we won't be able to get into their base that easily." Misty says.

"But we have to get into the base, or else our only way to survive in this world will be doomed..." Dawn says.

"So should we climb this mountain?" Sophocles asks, and the others just shrugs. But when Golly and Gladion are back at the mountain base, they quickly hide themselves as they try to see how they are going to get up there.

"We're finally back." Gladion says. "So how are we going to get into the base? I kind of forgot."

Golly says, "You don't need to worry about that. There is one way to go into the base, and that will be the hidden passage."

Golly knows that the traitors are nearby listening to them, so she decides to say it out loud to make them think that they find a way.

"So where is the secret passage?" Gladion asks, and Golly opens the gate hidden under the snow, "There is a secret passage. Now let's go."

As they enter the passage, the traitors try to follow them before the gate closes, but when they get to the exit, they find themselves on the other side of the base.

"Hey, this isn't a secret passage! We're tricked!" Clemont says as the others are furious, and at the same time, Golly is just smirking as she thinks, "They won't know that inside the secret passage, there is another secret passage that leads to the real top of the mountain."
