Minami gets a call from Ash as she is talking to him, while Alain is being confused a little until Minami ends the call. "So what did Ash say?"

"Since you are an official member of Team Alpha, I might as well tell you. The others have already got their gems, meaning that our Fairy Gem is the last one." Minami says. "But it is normal, since the Psychic Gem is all about the timing."

"I see..." Alain says. "So what is this place that is around us?"

"This is Glimwood Tangle. It is a special place that a lot of Fairy Type would like to stay, over there is the Ballonlea, a town where one of the Galar Gyms are located."

"So where do you think the Fairy Gem is?" Alain asks, and Minami says, "About that, I have no idea. Unlike other gems, Fairy Gem is very secretive since Fairy Type wasn't known to other regions until Professor Sycamore did a research about it."

"I see..." Alain says with a little frown, "Can you tell me about what kind of Gem is the Fairy Gem?"

Minami says, "Fairy Gem is known as the Love Gem, when activated by using Fairy Type power, it will grant two people to love each other. Other than that, I have no idea what it is about."

"I see." Alain nods. As they continue walking around the area, Minami notices that her Rapidash is feeling something. Alain asks, "What happened to Rapidash?"

"As you can see, this is where I met him as a Ponyta." Minami says, "Team Rocket wanted to capture an Impidimp for their evil schemes, and I was forced to do it, it is also when I met Ponyta. It was scared at me at first because I was with Team Rocket, but after calming the Pokemon down, it becomes one of my teammates and I am not going to let my uncle take it for experiments or selling."

"I see...it is also a Fairy Type as well, right?" Alain asks, "Does that mean it knows where the Gem is located?"

"That isn't an impossible suggestion." Minami says as they follow Rapidash, and eventually they find a gem glowing in a tree hole. Minami says, "Looks like we found this gem."

"You're right." Alain says as he tries to get it, but there is some kind of barrier that stops them from getting the gem. Minami says, "Obviously, there are some traps to prevent us from getting the gem."

"Then how are we going to get the gem?" Alain asks, and Minami says, "About that, I would need to ask Brother about it."

As she calls back to Ash, Ash asks, "Minami, did you get the gem?"

"Brother, there is some kind of barrier that prevent us from getting the Fairy Gem. I want to ask if you have any ideas to get it?" Minami asks.

"A Barrier...have you tried using Pokemon attacks to break it? Since Golly and I used this method to unlock it." Ash says.

"Let me try it out." As Minami has her own Fairy Type Pokemon to attack the barrier, and it won't open. "It is not working, brother."

"Really? Then that will be strange..." Ash says, "Fairy Gem is a love gem...I think I have an idea of how to open it. Minami, you stay there and wait for us, I think the way to open the gem is to have two people express their love each other in order to break the barrier."

"What?" Minami asks in surprise. "Expressing love to open the barrier?"

"Yes, Serena and I will go there so that we will open it for you guys, so you'll just need to wait for us to arrive." Ash says.

"Okay." Minami says as she ends the call. Alain asks, "So?"

"We wait for Brother and Serena to come and help us get the gem." Minami says. "Apparently, the way to get the gem is by expressing love."

Alain is surprised, and he knows that Ash and Serena love each other and maybe it is the best choice. "So we wait?"

"We wait." Minami says as she sits on a mushroom while Alain is doing the same.

"So we have to go to Galar Region to help out Minami?" Serena asks, and Ash nods, "We have to, Minami is a stubborn girl, and she won't be able to confess to Alain soon. It will be better if we are the ones that go there."

"But what if it doesn't work well?" Mark asks, "What if even you two can't break the barrier?"

"That won't be happening. True, Serena was being hypnotized to love someone else, but that was just hypnotized, she loves me and I know it." Ash says.

"Ash..." Serena gives out a warm feeling, but then Golly says, "But what about those traitors? I mean...if you go out, wouldn't it just give them how to get to our base?"

"That is something that I was worrying about as well." Trenor says. "Knowing them, they will try to get Brother's Pokemon in order to make them immortal."

"I have an idea, but the problem is that it might be taking some time." Ash says as the others are listening to their plan.

Minami and Alain are sitting at the mushroom waiting for Ash and Serena, then Minami asks, "Why did you want to join Team Flare? What causes you to do it?"

Alain frowns and says, "I battled Lysandre in order to get the Mega Stone that I wanted to research with Professor Sycamore...but Lysandre took it and he asks me to join in. He assured me that he wants to harness the Mega Evolution energy for peaceful purposes, if Professor Sycamore were to publish the secrets of Mega Evolution, mankind would find a way to use those secrets to nefarious ends."

Minami says, "I see...it is obviously a lie in order to get your trust..."

"What about you? What made you join Team Rocket?" Alain asks, "Your mother might know what kind of person Giovanni is, but how did she have you join Team Rocket for safety?"

Minami says, "My mother didn't know about Team Rocket until those three members follow him to the end. She knows that Uncle is a Gym leader in Viridian City, and I would be safe in a gym leader's hands. As for Mark, Golly, Trenor and Insey, only Golly is sent to Sinnoh Champion as it is the best choice, but for Mark, Trenor and Insey, they were taken either by force or by desperation."

"I see...and let me guess, your uncle sweet talked to you to have you join in Team Rocket, but after you witness what they were doing, you regretted it and you had no way to escape?"

Minami nods and says, "Back at Mt. Coronet, I denied that I was in a same shoes as you...but that was just my will for not wanting to lose...it is something I developed when I was forced to work with Team Rocket. I know that by doing so I won't side myself to evil like them..."

"I think I get it..." Alain says. "But it is all in the past...and I intend to forget all of the times when I worked with Team Flare. Are you going to do the same?"

Minami thinks for a while, and she says, "Team Rocket is already gone, so there is no need to remember about the traumatizing past..." She turns around and says, "You really are good at helping those in need...but why?"

Alain says, "I did say to you a lot of times, I don't care if you are Team Alpha or not, all I could see is a girl whose heart is full of pain. That is why I want to help her as much as she can."

Minami frowns and says, "Why me? I mean...there are a lot of girls whose heart is full of pain, you could have choose one of the girls in the refuge camp, but why me?"

"I don't know...maybe it is because we are similar in some way?" Alain asks.

Much to her surprise, Minami is not going to retort Alain's words, she says, "You're right. We really are similar..."

Minami doesn't know why, her heart is feeling strange and she says, "I am very sorry, for my actions towards you during this journey..."

Alain is surprised at first, but he says, "It is fine. You didn't trust me because I might be your enemy, I am glad that we had cross the barrier of our sides."

"Yeah..." Minami says, and suddenly, she gives him a kiss on the lips, and Alain is surprised, but he didn't resist as he embraces her. It is the moment that the barrier for the Fairy Gem is broken, but none of them notice anything.

At the same time, Ash and Serena finally arrived and Ash says, "Minami...we're..." But they stop as they see how she and Alain are kissing. After hearing Ash's voice, Minami quickly breaks the kiss and says, "Brother..."

"Minami...did you just seriously kiss Alain?" Serena asks and Minami blushes a little. "What if we did?" Minami asks with stutter, and Ash says, "Really? I thought that you weren't going to be in love with anyone else."

"Shut up, brother. I don't want you to tease me about it." Minami says.

Ash notices the Fairy Gem and picks it up, and he says, "And looks like we didn't need to come after all, since the barrier has broken because of you two expressing your love."

Alain turns to Minami and says, "So all of it is just to open the barrier?"

Minami gives a frown and says, "Are you questioning me even though I confessed my love for you in a non verbal way? I am really hurt if you do that."

Ash says, "Alain, Minami, it seems like you two really like each other. The barrier won't be broken if you are faking your love."

Serena says, "And from our perspective, your kiss is genuine, you don't need to hide it from us anymore."

Minami and Alain sigh and Minami says, "Well, when this is over, how about we hang out?"

"I will like to." Alain says. "So we got the final gem, what are we going to do?"

"We will have to get back to the base, but there is a slight problem, that is the fact that the murders of our mother finally found our secret base, they are now thinking how to get inside."

"What? How did they know where it is?" Minami asks, and Serena says, "After leaving you alone, they start to chase after Trenor and Chloe, after they manage to get away from them, they start stalking us instead. And that's how they know."

"So what are we going to do with them?" Alain asks, and Ash says, "They won't be able to get inside the base, so what we should do now is to know how to use them? I found a bottom half of the prophecy, but we will need to find the first half."

"I see, then we must get going or the others are waiting for us." Minami says as they all leave the Galar Region to Mt. Silver so others won't worry.

And finally, Alain and Minami's ship is sailing in this chapter. As you can see, Minami is a girl who doesn't like to admit lose, and I think that she and Alain are actually similar as well, but she doesn't want to admit it until this chapter. And in the next chapter, it will be about how to use the gems and what are they going to do with those murderers.
