After getting Minami and Alain back to Mt. Silver, Ash notices that the traitors are still lost in their maze-like entrance as he is sighing in relief. They are now sitting inside the meeting room as Ash says, "So now that we are back with 18 gems, let's see what the gems are working for."

"You bet. So who is going to start?" Chloe asks.

"The first is Normal Gem, also known for the Gem of healing. It can heal any injury, no matter fatal or not." Minami says as she puts the Gem on the table. "When I was injured, it helps me recover with a short amount of time."

"The Fighting Gem is the next one." Mark says as he puts the Gem on the table. "The gem is also known for boosting, it can give us energy boost of Aura, which is why Rota wasn't affected by the war that we created."

"I have the Flying Gem." Insey puts the badge on the table and says, "The Gem is also known for the Weathers, it can create any weather for our advantage. We won't be worrying about Water Shortage or Solar Power because of it."

"The Poison Gem, which is also known for the Gem of Disease, which is the opposite of Normal Gem." Golly says as she puts the gem on the table. "We found Professor Mohn using this to research the toxins of Nihilego."

"How was Dad by the way?" Lillie asks Gladion, who says, "He is doing fine, I can't believe you already knew he is alive and you didn't tell me."

"Sorry about that." Lillie sighs. Trenor takes out the Ground and Rock Gem at the same time, he says, "This Ground Gem, also known for the gem of Order, is capable of controlling the minds of people or Pokemon if the user says so. And for the Rock Gem, which is known for the Gem of Revival, it can revive the souls who are killed even a lot of centuries ago."

Insey says, "The Bug Gem, also known for the Gem of Memory. This gem is capable of wiping out the memory, or showing the memory of what it has been. The Pinwheel Big Tree was shown as the memory, which is why when the gem was taken, it goes back to its real form.

Golly says, "The Ghost Gem, also known for the Gem of Spirits. It is capable of making the ghosts who have been haunting the world solid. We accidentally activate it as we were surrounded by evil spirits who wanted revenge. It is a good thing that we manage to put them in the spirit bottle so we can cleanse them."

Trenor says, "The Steel Gem, also known for the Gem of Space, is capable of expanding the space that we live in while using the powers. We found it on Iron Island and that is how the island was formed."

Mark takes out the two gems and he says, "The Fire Gem is known as the Gem of Satisfaction. It is capable of satisfying what we want, such as giving the fire when we are cold or stopping the lava from endangering the village. For the Water Gem, it is the Gem of Disaster. It is capable of making others suffer, such as the Whirlpools, Typhoons, and so on."

Insey takes out the final gem and says, "The Grass Gem is known as the Gem of Beauty. It is capable of making a beautiful scenery, when we get the gem away from the Natural Preserve, everything withers and the scenery is cold and unforgiving."

Ash says, "Now you shouldn't ignore me when I want to talk about the gems I collected as well. I have the Gem of Electric, which is known for the Gem of Birth. It is capable of using the affinity to create a new life."

"That's how Saphira was born, right?" Minami says, "The Psychic Gem, also known as the Gem of Time, is capable of interfering the time to our use. With this, we can have more than 24 hours a day, or other things to do."

Ash says, "That's for sure. The Ice Gem is known for the Gem of Calmness. It is capable of calming down even the angriest beast in the whole world, thus letting those who hold it talk casually. And the Dragon Gem is known for the Gem of Rage. It is the opposite of the Ice Gem as it will make us angrier and powerful."

Golly says, "The Dark Gem is the Gem for Darkness. It will make people blind if someone is holding them. Luckily we have to use Pokemon moves to stop it from activating or else we won't be able to take it back."

"And the Fairy Gem is the Gem of Love. It is capable of making love express in the air." Minami says as she places the last gem on the table.

"Now that we have the 18 gems. But Brother, there is a prophecy that we heard from an Aura Guardian called Riley." Trenor says.

"What does he say?" Ash asks in confusion.

"He says that there is a prophecy, and it quotes: When one must use all 18 gems to fulfill the wishes, one must- And that's what it says." Chloe says.

Ash widens his eyes in surprise, and he says, "I think I have the last part of the prophecy, it says Sacrifice the two hurting hearts."

"When one must use all 18 gems to fulfill the wishes, one must sacrifice the two hurting hearts?" Minami asks, "Does that mean when we use the gems to fulfill the wishes, we will have to lose two people whose hearts are hurting?"

"I guess so..." Ash says. Insey says, "We also met Melody and Slowking, they also told us that the chosen one blinded by darkness, only the maiden with light should cleanse it. Is that related to the prophecy as well?"

Ash and Serena look at each other at the mention of the words, and then Ash says, "Let's not think of that for now. Since all of you have come back from gathering the gems, how about we all take a rest and then we think of how to get rid of those intruders who have been trying to find their way in."

The others nod in agreement as they are already tired, but after they leave, Serena is the one who is still inside the meeting room with Ash. Serena asks, "Ash, are you okay?"

Ash says, "I am fine, you should take some rest as well, Saphira is waiting for you in our room, she will need your company."

"About that, I have asked Lillie to help me take care of her for now, because I know you have something in your mind. Can you please tell me about it?" Serena asks.

Ash sits down on the chair and says, "I was thinking of Insey's words that come from Melody and Slowking. I am the Chosen one, they say I was blinded by darkness...I guess my rage really blinds me."

"Ash..." Serena mutters.

"The words that the Slowking quotes, it means that you are the maiden with light. You are the one that cleanses my soul." Ash says, and it causes Serena to blush.

"So what does it have to do with what you are thinking?" Serena asks.

"The whole Team Alpha thing was created by our mess." Ash says, "With you being hypnotized and I lost everything. Therefore, our hearts have been hurting since then..."

Serena gasps and says, "Are you saying that...we are going to sacrifice ourselves to activate the whole 18 gems?"

Ash frowns and says, "That seems like what the prophecy means..."

"But...why us? I mean...all of the Team Alpha members have hurting hearts, as well as those humans who are still rebelling...why us?" Serena asks with a frown.

Ash notices Serena's tears, he hugs her and says, "I really don't want to do this, but we have no other choice. But if we can sacrifice ourselves to make the world better, then we should do it."

Ash opens up his laptop and he says, "Each of us has a dream that can be fulfilled with the gems. My dream is to return nature and the war zone to where they belong, Mark wants evil people like those traitors to disappear from the face of the earth. Minami's dream is to have our own island to live on, without any other people interfering our lives again. Golly wants to revive our mother back from death, as she was killed in cold blood. Insey wants to have anyone use Pokemon moves so that we can share the same enjoyment and pain from Pokemon Battling, and finally, Trenor wants to make sure everyone has a good family."

"Those sure are some great dreams..." Serena says, "You guys are really something...but...I am scared..."

Ash says, "I know..." After a silence, the two of them embrace each other with tears in their eyes. At the same time, Golly was behind the door as she listens to their conversation. Then she quickly rushes to the others and Minami asks, "How are Brother and Serena feeling?"

"They are trying to sacrifice themselves for our wishes...Brother Ash and Serena are listed as the ones with the hurting heart, so it might be possible that they are going to sacrifice themselves to make the gems work..."

"How could they do that? We are also the ones with broken hearts. Why can't he let one of us do it?" Mark asks.

"Brother is a person that always thinks of others the most, that is also why those traitors will be able to take advantage of him." Trenor says. "Lillie, is Saphira asleep for now?"

Lillie nods and says, "She is asleep, so she doesn't hear our conversation. What are we going to do now if Ash and Serena are going to sacrifice themselves?"

Trenor says, "I think I want to change my dream, I want to change it into Ash and Serena can still be alive if the gems are activating."

"Are you sure it will work? I mean...what about your dream of letting everyone have a good family?" Chloe asks.

"Indeed that some people don't have a good family, but maybe misfortunes might be leading to good memories..." Trenor says, "I never realized that until now...when we were chased by those traitors, I thought that it was unlucky for us, but it was fun for me when I see them being blasted away from the Grandpa Canyon."

"I know what you mean..." Chloe says. "So if you are going have your dream changed, will everything be the way that we want once we do this?"

Insey says, "I know what you mean...will we be able to forget how many people we have killed in the war, and how we give them pain and horror?"

Gary says, "It is true that what we did is unforgivable, but that's why we have to bear this in mind so that we won't be able to do the same thing in the future."

"You're right." Mark says. "Now let's really go to rest or else Brother is going to get suspicious of us."

The others nod as they quickly go back to their rooms for rest.

Here is a new chapter, and in this chapter, I decided to write about the purposes of the gems as well as how the characters are conflicted about using those gems. A lot of people think that my story might be a crossover to Avengers, and the Infinity Gems are related to theirs. But in truth, I really don't want to have any relation to the Avengers with this story. I hope you understand.
