Ash is now inside the library of RPA Company, he has been trying to find some solutions to the Violet Depression. But nothing can be found in the books and this causes him to be worried, he doesn't want to give up, though. After all, his motto is Never give up until it is over.

When Alice tells Eve and Flora about the sabotage in Reisa's gym, they have laughed for fifteenth minutes.

"That sure was the most humiliating thing ever." Eve says. "I can't believe that she didn't even find out that the Pokemon refusing to listen to her are not hers but Mark's."

"Well, the Starmie originally belonged to Misty, but that was a lot of years ago." Alice shrugs. "Ash really is a perfect leader of the Sevestar Region, but for some reason, I feel like Ash is a little...overprotective?"

"Maybe because the traitors are here, he wants to protect you from any harm. After all, they killed people, and yet they didn't get captured, who knows what they might do again? He wouldn't want you to be like his mother." Flora says. "I think I can understand it."

"But still, there is that Kalos Queen as well, Ash and I reach a compromise that he would be trying to get close to her so that he could gain information from her, but I was still concerned if he would go back to her again."

"That won't be happening. That's for sure." Eve says. "But where is Ash? He should be back in the castle right now."

"He's in the library looking for information about something..." Alice says. "I guess he also mentioned something with the word violet on it."

"So you mean Ash is looking for something violet? But why?" Flora asks.

"I don't know. He just told me not to worry about him." Alice says with a slight frown.

"I see that all of you are here." They are surprised to find Valerie and Wulfric walking toward them, they all greet their parents and Alice asks, "Mom? Dad? What are you doing here?"

"We were invited by Adam since we have some things that we need to chat about." Valerie says. "Flora, how is your D&W doing?"

"You just visited a week ago." Flora says. "But it is doing a great job. I really wanted it to become a famous store like "Sakura"

"Sakura might be my store, but I'm sure that the modern clothes that you've designed are perfect as well." Valerie chuckles.

"We've also seen the concert two days ago. And we're impressed at that song you've sung. Even though it hides a very important meaning." Wulfric says.

"Yeah, everyone is just looking at the facade made by those traitors, and that's why we have to search for more evidence of Ash's innocence." Alice says.

"We've also heard from Diantha that he is going to have a trial thanks to your final vote." Valerie says. "And it is a good thing that Minami is going to be his lawyer as well."

"I know." Eve adds.

On the training grounds, Golly is sitting in front of Giratina, wanting to know more about the Violet Depression. Giratina says, "My chosen, the Violet Depression has been in the times of the Hisui Region. This kind of disease occurs when an Aura User is broken Physically and Mentally, with the negative emotions inside of the victim's heart, it will cause the aura to hurt both the victim and those who are around her."

"So it was not just herself." Golly nods. "But those who are around her? Why weren't we attacked?"

Giratina says, "'Negative Emotions' is a big range, inside the range, there are fear, sadness, anger, guilt, and other emotions. From our observation, Alice has been suffering from depression, this negative emotion won't cause harm to others if the victim doesn't know about this disease. But if she knew about it, then it would speed up the lifespan shortage process and also attack the people around her."

"So that's why we can't let Alice know about this." Golly says. "May I ask about the victims that suffered from the disease? How were they saved from it?"

"Back in the Hisui times when I still hated Arceus, there was one person named Rei, after freeing me from an evil person named Volo, who tried to use my powers to overthrow Arceus, he has the disease as well. He thought of Volo as a friend after how he managed to save him every time when Dialga and Palkia are causing trouble, and how he tries to attack him after everything had been through, he suffers from the disease and the negative emotion is guilt. He was guilty to trust Volo and thus causes the whole Jubilife Village to suffer. Eventually, he died because of it."

"Isn't there a victim of the disease that lived?" Golly asks, with a little anger.

"Actually, there are two people who have been cured of the disease. One of them is you." Giratina says.

"Me?" Golly asks with confusion. "I have gotten the disease before?"

"Yes, it was the day of your death. Being attacked by Team Rocket and also witnessing your father's fake death, you got the disease and the negative emotion is anger. This kind of anger means that you wanted blood in your hands. And instead of deteriorating the lifespan, it immediately kills yourself and those surrounding you." Giratina says.

"But shouldn't my brothers and sisters suffer it as well?" Golly asks. "Why was I the one who suffered from this disease back then?"

"They didn't witness your father's fake death in a closer view, that's why they weren't mentally scarred." Giratina says.

"I guess that's fair enough. But turning Alice into a monster and then reviving her? Brother would rather kill himself than do such a thing." Golly says.

"I'm sure that nobody wants to do the same thing to you twice." Giratina says. "The other one who survived the Violet Depression is a person named Victoria Silverlind. She was one of the members of the Silverlind family in the Galar Region 200 years ago."

"200 years ago? Are there any documents about her and how she survived the Violet Depression?" Golly asks.

"Unfortunately, the Silverlind family is killed by the royalty in Galar, you have known the family that ends the bloodline of Silverlind: Swordward and Shielbert."

"Urgh...those two, huh?" Golly shakes her head, "They have been causing a lot of trouble for generations, huh?"

"Because of their ancestors, nothing is left of the Silverlind family. Unless there is a way to do so...spirit summoning."

Golly widens her eyes, she has never done Spirit Summon before, but for Alice's sake, she wants to try it out.

Back in the RPA Library, Ash manages to find a book on the shelf talking about the Violet Depression, but all he found is Rei's history and Victoria Silverlind. The cure hasn't been mentioned in the books and it causes him to get frustrated.

"So this is where you have been." Ash turns around to see Elline, David, and Diantha walking toward Ash. Elline asks, "What are you finding?"

"A cure of an aura-related disease." Ash sighs.

"Let me guess, Violet Depression?" Diantha asks, causing Ash to widen his eyes.

"How did you know?" Ash asks.

"You just said the keyword: Aura-related disease." Diantha says, "The nastiest is the Violet Depression, considering that those who suffer from it never get rid of it alive."

"I want to find the cure to it, I don't want her to die..." Ash says, with tears starting to flow.

"Wait, who got the disease?" David asks.

"Alice...her father told me about it, and he wants me to keep it a secret from her." Ash says. "With Serena throwing me away like some sort of trash, she is the one who tries to mend my heart. But now that she's been suffering from the disease...I don't want her to go..."

"I want to know, was she angry during these years? I mean, so angry that killing won't be enough?" Diantha asks.

"She was angry, but never like that." Ash says. "I knew that if she was so angry that killing won't be enough, then she would kill herself and those who are surrounded by her."

"I see. And you said that she didn't know the disease, which means depression would only cause her to attack herself without harming others...but her lifespan is deteriorating...How many years did she has left?"

"Maybe within a year left..." Ash says. "Wulfric was the one telling me about this. That's why I have been trying to learn about this disease. I found a woman who was cured of the disease named Victoria Silverlind, but all I can find is the fact that her family was killed by the royals in that era, and nothing has left...but I don't want to give up hope..."

"Victoria Silverlind is a Galar-born native 200 years ago. It would be better to search Galar instead of here in the Sevestar Region." Diantha says, "But because of the recent Sevestar League inspecting, all of you are almost impossible to leave the region."

"That was really bad as well..." Elline says, "Since my gym is next to the Champions and the trainers they've chosen, how about we exchange the date for tomorrow? The faster we finish the whole thing, the faster for you guys to find what you want in the Galar Region."

"That might be nice. I think let's go back to our castle." Ash says as they all leave.

Once they get back to the castle, Alice rushes to Ash and says, "You're finally back, Ash. What took you so long? The dinner was about to get cold."

"Sorry." Ash says. "I have been searching in the library so long that I forgot the time."

"I heard that you're searching for something that's violet. Do you know where it is yet?" Alice asks.

Ash was about to get a heart attack after hearing Alice hears the word Violet, but thank goodness that she thinks that it is an object instead of Violet depression. Ash says, "The object I was finding that is violet colored might be in the Galar Region. However, all we know is that it is the color violet, but what exactly is that, I still don't know."

"I see..." Alice says. "Well, it would be hard for us to leave the region because of the League inspecting. How about we have some dinner while talking about which traitor we're going to get revenge on tomorrow in Elline's Gym?"

"I already have a plan and I know who I'm going to deal with this time." Ash says with a small smile, and then the two of them head back to the castle while others are waiting for them.

"Where's Golly?" Ash asks after seeing the others but not her, and everyone shrugs as if they don't know the answer.

"Here I am." Golly walks into the room and says, "Sorry, I was just training with Giratina. I hope I didn't get too late."

"Not at all, we were just about to start eating." Trenor says as they start to eat dinner.

And here is a new chapter, this chapter basically talks about the Violet Depression and what they can do. Ash and Golly might have found some documents about the whole thing, but will they be able to find more information about this Victoria Silverlind? Will they be able to save Alice in time? I hope you like this chapter and the next chapter will be the next traitor's revenge.
