After leaving RPA Academy, Golly is the one bringing the group of Champions to Quest Town. She says, "This Quest Town is the darkest place in the whole Sevestar Region, and of course, the mansion in front of you here is the Gym."

Paul is the one battling Golly, but the spooky vibes of the Gym cause them to be unable to take a rest. After Golly wins the gym battle, he says, "Now I should explain to you about this place. You see, behind this gym, there is a Mysterious Tomb. In the Mysterious Tomb, there is a lot of Ghost Type Pokemon living there, and there is also a temple for Regighoul."

"Regighoul? Sounds spooky..." Bonnie says.

"Yes, Regighoul is the guardian of the graveyard, the body is also the gate to the spirit world. Instead of trying to absorb people in, it releases the ghosts from the spirit world to punish those who try to steal their graves. Its ability is Ghoul Calling, which boosts all the stats when you have a fainted Pokemon in the party. And it has a Signature move Soul Share. By cutting its HP in half, the other half of HP would be sent to the fainted Pokemon."

"That sure is a crazy move..." Paul says.

"But it is helpful when we were battling Team Rainbow." Golly says.

When Ash and the group are at Quest Town, they find Topaz and another man trying to find the Spooky Plate in the Mysterious Graveyard. Golly says, "What do you think you're doing?"

"You guys again... no wonder the boss thinks you are annoying." Topaz groans before sending out Cofagrigus.

"The same Cofagrigus that swallow Amythest..." Reisa gasps.

"Oh? So Amythest is becoming a mummy?" The other man says.

"Yeah, Grey. She tried to betray the team. Surely you're not going to do the same, right?"

"Of course not. I know that our goal is important." Grey says as he sends out Cursola. Then the other grunts also appear as they battle. Just then, when they're battling, they hear someone yells, "Leafeon! Razor Leaf!" "Glaceion! Icy Wind!"

Ash turns around and is surprised to see that the ones who come to help are Irida, Adaman, and all the Galaxy Expedition Team members. Ash says, "No way!"

"Who are those people?" The others are confused, but the grunts are also immediately defeated, and Ash says, "They are the people that I befriended 200 years ago... They are from the ancient Hisui... but how?"

Then Regighoul appears and he reveals that he's the one who summons them. And he also uses his power to have the fainted Pikachu to go back up and battle. In the end, they manage to save Amythest before she fully turns into mummy and Grey says, "Damn, we're outnumbered..."

"This place sure is spooky, let's get out of here!" Topaz says as they all run away along with the grunts.

"Thank you for your help." Ash says.

"No problem. We're glad that after death, we still can fight with each other." Adaman says.

Akari says, "You know, ever since you left, I have been wondering about the future world that you're living in... I've prayed to Arceus, and he agrees to let me come."

"That's awesome." Ash says.

And after a while, they manage to bring Akari back from the dead, while the others all go back to the spirit world. But Regighoul also promises them that they will be reunited if they want to.

"This place is really creepy." Clemont mutters as they are now in the graveyard after separating from the others, considering that it is a place where Golly says to meet them after the gym battle with Paul. "Are you sure we can trust the information she gave us?"

"It's the only lead we have." Trip says. "Besides, she's a nice girl and she also promised to get us Manaphy and the information about what happened to the girls."

"She knew how important Manaphy is to May, after all, May is her true Mama." Brock says. "Not to mention that she's adorable and beautiful at the same time."

The others shoot Brock with a look of disgust, there is one thing they can't stand with Brock and that is his perverted mind.

At the same time, Golly has Trenor and Insey helping her out as they decide to create a mist around the group and obscure their visions. Golly decides to let out her Pokemon, since this area is full of Ghost Types, she doesn't mind if she manages to scare them.

"It might be a Pokemon." Kiawe says. "After all, this is a forest, and it might be wild Pokemon."

"That won't be possible... Golly told us that there are no Pokemon around this area..." Cilan replies.

Just then, Golly sends out her Hisuian Zoroark and says, "Do your trick."

Zoroark nods as it starts to make illusions into Delia, as it moves forward, and also uses Shadow Claw to slash at the boys.

"D-do you think it's the ghost of Ash's Mom coming back to haunt us?" Sophocles asks with a scared tone.

The boys start to wonder if they have seen a lot of horror movies, and Cilan decides to be the one spoke up for them.

"Wait, we only did that for Ash's own good!" Cilan cries out to "Delia's spirit", trying to save himself and his friends. "Sure, he had his dreams, but we're tired of seeing him fail. What do you think the others would say if we had this foolish friend who kept failing his dreams? We'd be the world's laughing stock!"

The three Ketchum siblings are angry at what they have said, and Golly says, "Zoroark, now knock them out."

Zoroark goes for Bitter Malice and knocks them out, Trenor says, "I can't believe you have thought of this idea. The fear in their minds really cause them to tell us everything we want to know."

"But I can't believe that's the reason why our Mother is killed." Insey says in an angry tone. "There are a lot of people who keep failing as well, why do they have to live while our Mom has to be the one killed?"

"And now for the next part of the plan." Golly says. "I'll try to talk to them."

After the boys are back to their consciousness, they find themselves back in the Gym.

"I have some food for you, eat up." Golly walks in with bowls of soup and some rolls, and there is also an Eeveelution with lots of tails helping her.

"Thank goodness you're here." Cilan says as they are delighted to see Golly.

"What happened to you guys?" Golly asks. "I mean, all of you look like you've been attacked."

''You're right! We're attacked by ghosts!" Clemont says. "She came back to haunt us!"

"Who?" Golly asks with confusion.

"Ash's mother!" Sophocles says, with the same panic. "She's here to avenge her death!"

"If you didn't do anything, then she won't haunt you, right?" Golly asks.

"That's just it. We did do something." Clemont says.

"And what is that?" Golly asks.

The others are silent as they wonder if they can trust her, considering that she has been helping them a lot of times and she also promised to bring Manaphy to them.

"We...kind of disposed of her, thinking Ash might be too depressed to continue his dream." Brock says haltingly. Golly knows that Insey and Trenor are in another room as they are recording the whole scene from the hidden cameras.

"Won't they normally arrest you for that?" Golly asks, trying to hold her anger.

"Yes, only they suspected Ash as the murderer since we used the Pokemon that he also owned." Trip explains smugly. "Even Serena and half of the Champions didn't believe him."

"I see...you're using the connections you established while traveling with Ash to tip things in your favor. Not something that I never heard of." Golly says. "I promise I'll keep this a secret. I'll even help you out of here so that the spirits won't bother you anymore." Golly says.

"That's so kind of you." Brock says. "But won't they get you instead?"

"You forget I'm a Ghost Type specialist. They won't bother me." Golly says.

"But what about Manaphy?" Cilan asks as he changes the subject.

"I'm sorry, but Champion Red and Princess Aurora have a lot of Pokemon with high guards, some of them aren't even trusting even though I'm Red's sister. Every time I try to get close, they will raise their guard and try to attack me."

"I'm sorry to hear about that." Trip says. Golly asks, "By the way, where is the Kalos Queen Serena? Isn't she with you?"

"She went to Kanto for the coronation ceremony." Kiawe says. "She's going to give him a chance to allow us to let his crime slide, on the condition that he married her or one of the girls."

"Oh, why?" Golly asks. "I thought they hated him." Golly asks.

"True, but they want to marry a real prince so they'll be a princess and be treated like one." Brock says. "It'll boost their reputation as the wife of a Crown Prince."

"By the way, you guys did ask me about the situations of the girls, since you told me about the big news, I should tell you about it. You see, our Princess Aurora has suffered a disease called Violet Depression."

"Yes, this is Kitsuneon. Kitsuneon are gifted with high intelligence and strong spiritual powers. They are notorious for playing pranks, but also punish those who deserve judgment. They have Cursed Body and Prankster as Abilities and Magic Guard as the Hidden Ability."

After that, they decide to leave the gym and bid farewell to Golly. Once they are truly gone, Trenor and Insey arrive and Insey says, "We've got all the evidence. Good job, sis Golly."

"Being nice all the time isn't always a good thing." Golly sighs. "Especially with those people who killed Mother."

"At least we can relax knowing that we got our evidence." Trenor says.
