Before the Sunyshore Gym, Ash and Lillie are still secretly meeting on weekends. Ash has been learning about art with Professor Hassel, while Lillie has been learning how to be a V-Tuber with the help of Iono from the Paldea Region. Both of them are having a lot of success, but that doesn't stop them from continuing to capture Pokemon and travel.

For Ground Type Pokemon in Sinnoh, Lillie receives the Rhyhorn from her family and evolves it into a Rhyperior using the Protector on Rhydon, they also capture a Hippopotas at Maniac Tunnel and evolve it into a Hippowdon. They also travel back to the past and capture an Ursaring, by giving a Peat Block under a full moon, they get Ursaluna in the end,

For Fire Type Pokemon in Sinnoh, Ash and Lillie go back to the past and capture a Growlithe, evolving it into an Arcanine. They also capture a Magmar at Fuego Ironworks and evolve it into a Magmortar using the Magmarizer.

For Electric Type Pokemon in Sinnoh, Ash and Lillie decide to capture a Rotom who returns to the mansion in Eterna Forest. Though it likes to argue with the Rotom Phones, much to their amusement. They capture an Electabuzz at Fuego Ironworks and evolve it into an Electivire using an Electrizer. They travel back to the past and capture a Hisuian Voltorb that evolves into a Hisuian Electrode using Grass Stone. And they also capture a Shinx at the early routes and evolve into a Luxray.

Back in Galar, Ash and Lillie get a call from Chairman Rose that Team Rocket's camp is found at Lake of Outrage, so they decide to go there and check it out. Much to their shock, they find that not only the cyborg, which looks like a Dragon armor, appears, but the boss of Team Rocket, Giovanni, is also there.

"Ash Ketchum and Lillie Aether. I have to guess this is our first meeting." Giovanni says. Ash knows that this is not their last meeting, but because of Mewtwo's memory wipe, he doesn't remember.

"So the boss decides to show himself..." Lillie mutters.

"Do you think we're not going to take action after hearing that 8 of our bases have fallen?" Giovanni says, "Just like your parents, they have been a thorn in our side for so long.

"Don't you dare speak of their names! It is because of you that my father is not here with me!" Ash snarls.

Giovanni doesn't seem fazed as he stares at the Pikachu on Ash's shoulder, "So this is the Pikachu that those three have been trying to capture during these years... How about that, why don't you join Team Rocket, we'll make sure you'll be able to accomplish your dream, and we'll also spare you as well."

"Like we will join you. You kidnapped my mom to make her a killing machine. I'm not going to let you do the same to me."

"Such a shame, Livid, deal with them." Giovanni says.

"Yes, boss." The Cyborg says as Giovanni leaves, Lillie snarls and yells, "Get back here! You coward!"

"If you want to reach the boss, you have to defeat me. But sadly, when you've defeated me, our boss would be already gone." Livid says as she goes for Core Enforcer, Ash quickly uses the Aurora Veil to block the attack since the area is in Snowstorm condition. Lillie uses Ice Beam, but Dragon Energy blocks the attack.

"So like Delia and Adam... those two can use Aura..." Giovanni is watching from the helicopter, a smirk coming to his face. "I don't expect Livid to win, but this will be perfect for the new cyborg I'm creating."

Livid uses Dynamax Cannon when Ash decides to go with the Gigantamax Pikachu, which damages them a lot, and Lillie has Dynamaxed Snowy to use Max Starfall, but Livid uses Eternabeam to hurt the Vulpix.

"If Snowy wants to evolve, that move shouldn't have damaged Snowy..." Lillie says.

"Snowy doesn't want to evolve, and so is Pikachu. So we can't force them." Ash says.

And much to Ash and Lillie's horror, both Pikachu and Snowy are defeated by the Roar of Time and Spacial Rend, leaving Ash and Lillie to fight alone. As hope was about to be lost, Ash and Lillie decide to combine their attacks together and use Flash Cannon and Ice Beam at the same time, freezing Livid and destroys the girl.

"That was intense... Dragon Type is actually the strongest one..." Lillie says.

"Yeah." Ash says as he picks up a piece of paper that's attached to Livid.

Livid: Age:30. Born: Galar. When she was little, she witnessed her parents being eaten by outraging Dragon Type Pokemon. Since that, she hates Pokemon, and refuses to treat them as living beings. She joins Team Rocket because they have been tormenting Pokemon and she enjoys it. After joining Team Rocket, she becomes one of the testers of the Cyborgs. Her typing and code name are "Dragon" She also absorbs the power of the Legendary and Mythical Pokemon of Dragon Type for Team Rocket. The Weakness of the Cyborg is that it can't stand the cold.

"And Giovanni is also gone..." Lillie mutters with slight anger.

"It's fine, he will show up again." Ash says, "I'm sure of it."

They continue to explore the Galar Region and take on the rest of the gyms. For Ice Type Pokemon in Galar, they capture a Snom and a Darumaka at Route 8 and evolve them into a Frosmoth and Darmanitan. At the Lake of Outrage, they capture an Eiscue during the Snowstorm. They also get to the Crown of Tundra and they find Calyrex, helping him find the two steeds. While Calyrex chooses Spectrier as his steed, Glastrier joins their team.

The sixth gym leader is Melony, who specializes in Ice Type, but she seems to have a fallout with her son Gordie, so they decide to help them reconcile. After that, they continue their Gym challenge.

For Poison Type Pokemon in Galar, they capture another Slowpoke at the Isle of Armor and evolve it into Galarian Slowbro using the Galarica Cuff. And they capture a Koffing at Motostoke Outskirts and evolve it into a Galarian Weezing.

For Dark Type Pokemon in Galar, they capture a Morgrem at Glimwood Tangle and evolve it into a Grimmsnarl in the end. And for Dragon Type Pokemon in Galar, they get another call from Cara Liss and they manage to revive two new Pokemon: Dracozolt and Arctovish. The two of them also decide to calm an outraging Dragapult who lost the Dreepy, and thus they decide to go with the Dragon Prince and Dragon Princess titles. And they also capture an Applin and evolve it into an Appletun in the end.

Since the Galar League is earlier than the Sinnoh League, Ash decides to do the League first, he manages to defeat Marnie and Hop during the League battles to become the League Winner of Galar. But during the awards Ceremony, Bede, the rival who was kicked out of the challenge by Chairman Rose, wants to challenge Ash for the title as revenge, but Ash manages to defeat him and he is asked to be the Ballonlea Gym Leader after Opal.

"You've done it, Ash." Lillie cheers for Ash. "Now you win your fourth league."

"I know." Ash says with a smile, "And wait for the fifth league that I'm going to beat once I finish the Sinnoh journey."

Ash goes to the Sinnoh League and Ash is facing Tobias in the finals, and Tobias possesses a Legendary called Darkrai, it sweeps through Ash's 3 Pokemon until Sceptile is the one who defeated him.

"Ash beat Darkrai..." Dawn says in amazement.

"That is really crazy." Barry says in agreement. But then Tobias sends out Latios as his next Pokemon, it defeats Sceptile, Ash then sends out Pikachu and Pikachu manages to defeat Latios in the end. Tobias is surprised, but he says, "Ash, you seem to be interesting. Nobody except you has been able to defeat my Pokemon this far."

"Thank you, we have been training a lot as well." Ash says. He knows the weakness of Darkrai and Latios because he also owned both of them. Although he didn't want to speak it out loud to cause confusion.

Then Tobias sends out Rayquaza, Entei, and Regigigas, only to be defeated by Pikachu alone, this causes everyone to wonder how strong is the Pikachu. At the same time, the Aether family is also watching the news as Gladiaon asks Lusamine, "How is that even possible...he just uses Pikachu to defeat 4 Legendaries."

"He must be very special, or he really has some crazy powers. But one thing for sure is that he didn't cheat." Lusamine says.

Adam and Lillie are silent, Adam knows the boy very well, and he can't believe how much time he didn't see his family, he wants to meet him again, but he can't face him if he knows that the reason he left is because of his cowardness... As for Lillie, he really wants Ash to win, but this is probably the toughest challenge he has ever faced.

Tobias' final Pokemon is Mewtwo, which finally defeats Pikachu in the end, but Ash still has one Pokemon and he is worried. But he wants to win, and he has no other choice.

"Lucario, I choose you." Ash sends out Lucario, who roars on the field. Brock is confused and asks, "A Lucario? When did he even capture that Pokemon?"

"That was also the question I want to ask as well!" Barry asks.

"Do you think Ash captures this Lucario on weekends? If so, why didn't he show us?" Dawn asks with slight annoyance.

Lucario's power overwhelms Mewtwo and then it manages to defeat him, making Ash the winner. Lucario says, "Master we did it."

"Thank you, Lucario." Ash hugs the Pokemon as they take the trophy, the Aether Family is also cheering for Ash's win, especially Lillie, but she didn't get noticed by the others. As for Adam, he has mixed feelings, he is surprised that his son manages to beat all 6 Legendaries.

After the ceremony ends, Dawn asks, "Ash, where did you get a Lucario?"

Ash thinks for a second to find an excuse, and eventually, he says, "I am sorry to hide the fact, I can reveal that one of the reasons I went missing is because I was defeating Team Galactic, in one of the Pokemon Centers, I was attracted by the aura from a Riolu egg. So Nurse Joy decides to give the egg to me and it is hatched into a Riolu. And we train together for some time to make it a Lucario in the end."

Ash knows too well that not everything he said is true, but seeing how the others agree with the explanation, he sighs in relief. Then Brock says, "So now that you also won the Sinnoh League, what are you going to do next?"

"I am going to Unova." Ash says. "I want to travel some more."

The others agree with his decision as they all head back to Twinleaf Town so that Ash and Brock can return to the Kanto Region. Once he returns home, he greets his mother, who smiles and says, "Look at you, winning two more leagues during these months."

"Thanks, Mom." Ash says. "I couldn't have done it without the help of my Pokemon friends."

"But I also heard from Rose that you've faced Giovanni." Delia slightly scolds a little. "You have to be careful. What if Giovanni starts to target you or the Aether Family because of it?"

"The Aether Paradise can only be found by those who know, so it will be fine." Ash says. "And Lillie will also defend the island."

Delia sighs as she finishes preparing dinner for Ash as they eat together.
