I don't have kids, but I guess today is the first day back to school here so I'm seeing all the first-day pictures of other people's kids.  Never mind that this seems way too early for school starting, nothing wigs me out more about the passage of time than seeing how fast little kids grow up.  

It's weird because when you are a kid time just seems to go so slow.  The 18 years to becoming an "adult" seems like it takes an absolute eternity.  But then once you are an adult years just start flying.  What was 18 years ago now... 2004?  Jeez that seems like it was just the other day.  

It must be strange having kids honestly.  It must feel like they're born and then a couple weeks later they're all grown and leaving the house.  I'll tell you what, kids.  Don't be in a rush to grow up.  Savor being a kid as long as you can because before you know it, you're going to be a decrepit old fart.
