Im Kapitel vom 29.08.20 hatte ich schonmal erwähnt gehabt, dass ich an einem kleinen Nähprojekt sitze. Wirklich groß getan hat sich nichts ^-^"
Habe erst vor ein paar Tagen herausgefunden, warum meine Nähmaschine mich warscheinlich gehasst und mit der Nadel beschossen hat. Daher bin ich seit geraumer Zeit immer am Nähen per Hand gewesen, was dauert. Plus ich bin relativ faul, daher ... naja ...
Zeigen will ich trotzdem schon ein wenig.

Der Plan war einen Beutel für meine Würfel zu nähen. Pen and Paper Würfel. Also die coolen mit mehr als sechs Seiten (auch wenn meine im Vergleich zu anderen ähnlichen Würfeln eher in das langweilig Spektrum fallen würden, aber ich liebe sie und sie sind genauso wie ich sie wollte =w=).
Mein Gedanke war ursprünglich, dass ich nie die perfekten Würfel finden werde und daher einfach mehrere schöne Sets sammle und dann je nach Laune entscheide ...
Habe aber die perfekten gefunden ...
Also werde ich warscheinlich, bis ich irgendwann genug Charaktere auf hohen Leveln habe bei denen es mich anfängt zu nerven 12d8 Schaden mit zwei Würfeln auszuwürfeln, erstmal keine neuen Würfel mehr kaufen ...
Was den Beutel entweder etwas zu früh ... oder sinnlos macht ...
Mal schauen.

Ich hatte jedenfalls angefangen alte Beutel und Taschen auf Pinterest anzugucken um Schnitte zu finden, die mir gefallen.
Dann habe ich mir Skizzen von allen gemacht, die ich besonders toll fand (sh. Bild 1).

Nachdem ich mich für eine entschieden hatte kahmen dann genauere Skizzen zu Form, Stickerei und Schnittmuster. Jep ich habe vor einen Teil zu besticken. Mit was?

Mittelerde Zeug natürlich!
Da ich den weißen Baum von Minas Ithil (ohne die Krone von Gondor) des Emblems des Königshauses Gondor schon auf ein Top gestickt hatte wollte ich etwas anderes versuchen.
Und in besagtem Buch mit wunderschönen Illustrationen und Skizzen habe ich mich in eine Tür verliebt.
Eine Tür in Imladris deren design perfekt auf eine Taschenklappe passt.

Stoff rausgesucht habe ich auch schon und von einer Freundin ein festeres Material für die Klappe bekommen.
Dann fingen die Probleme an, da ich mit den Zugschnüren Probleme hatte.
Ich habe erstmal aus Restmaterialien ein mockup (also eine Testversion) gemacht um ein wenig herumzuexperimentieren.
Ganz zufrieden bin ich noch nicht und muss noch etwas herumexperimentieren.

Vor allem da ich vorhabe die Innenseite auch zu besticken, sodass das Ding auch als Spielbrett benutzt werden kann. Aber da muss ich noch schauen, ob ich das nicht auf ein anderes Projekt verschiebe.
Könnte auch gut sein, dass das auf der Innenseite meines Umhangs landet, wenn ich dafür ein schönes Innenfutter finde (in das ich dann Massenweise Taschen einnähen kann muhahaha!).

Wie gesagt das Ganze ist noch ein großes work in progress und wird wohl auch noch ein Weilchen so bleiben ^-^"

I already gave a small sneak peak in the chapter from the 29th of August last year of my small sowing project. And well ... not much progress since then ^-^"
Just found out a few days ago why my sowing machine might have hated me and shot a needle at me. 'Cause of that I had been handsowing for qite a while and well ... I'm lazy kay.
Anyways I still want to show you a bit of the stuff I actually did make.

Plan was to make a dice bag. Pen and paper dice. Not only the normal six sided ones (even if my dice are quite plain compared to other pen and paper dice but they are exactly how I wanted them to be and I love them =w=)
My original preconception was that I'll never find the perfect dice so I'd collect several sets and just use those interchangeably ... I found the perfect ones ...
So I'll probably never have a big dice collection. Nor will I really buy more until I have enough high leveled charas that rolling 12d8 damage with two dice will become a bother ...
That would make the bag either superf. or waay too early ...
we'll see ...

I started by looking through bags on pinterest to find cuts I liked.
Then I scetched out the ones I liked (see pic. 1).

After Idecided on one I did some scetches of the exact shape, embroidery and cut.
Aye I decided tom embroider part of it. What pattern?

Middleearth stuff of course!
Since I already did the white tree of Minas Ithil (without the crown of Gondor) of the emblem of the line of kings of Gondor (with beads on a top) I wanted to try something different.
And well I fell in love with a door/archway in said book.
A doorway in Imladris the design of wich fits perfectly on a bag flap.
(Page 154 for those who want to go take a look)

Picked the fabric I'll be using and also got a sturdier material for the flap from a friend.
Then the problems began since I had problems with the drawstring part.
I did a mockup first to experiment a little.
Still not all to satisfied with the result so I'll be trying different stuffs with that.

Especially since I wanted to also embroider the interior with a game board. But I'll have to see if I'm not going to put that on a different project.
Maybe the inside of my cloak when I stumble upon a nice inner lining fabric (wich I'll be putting loads of pocketses in! Muhahahaha!).

All in all still very much a work in progress that will stay like that for a while ^-^"
