Several more days pass, and the Children only get worse. No matter how hard they try, their going to have to think of somthing else. Fighting isn't working, but neither will giving up. It's in the middle of the night and Serrahs having a terrible breakdown. It's like everything's constantly getting worse. More and more monsters show up everyday, Haydins sickness isn't getting better at all, Malroth isn't any more happy with Serrah, hope and light itself is disappearing. I wasn't ment to save us, was I?... Serrah though, and if so I am doing a horrible job. She continued crying helplessly, until she felt a certain somone creep up behind her. "Serrah?" Malroths voice was more gentle that it had been since their little argument. "Yeah, Mal?.." Serrahs sharp voice was also cut down to a soft whisper. Green eyes met red, as Malroth responded, "I'm sorry that we haven't really gotten along, but... if you want, we can just forget about it and stop being mad at eachother for no reason?" Serrah smiled weakly, "that does sound good.. but what's the point in it? Even without us fighting, we're still loosing the battle against the Children..." Serrah sighed hopelessly. "Oh Serrah, always been a pessimist haven't you?" Malroth chuckled lightly. Serrah looked at him, somhow filled with hope again. Even Malroth felt more confident now. The who hugged, warmth sparked with Serrah. Suddenly, she had a plan, "Come on, Mal, we're going to stop all this!" Malroth looked at her for a moment, fire glowing in his eyes. The two gathered everyone to the dock. "Alright is eveyone h-" before Serrah could finish her sentence, monsters had already showed up. They'd have to hurry and leave before their caught. Everyone rushed on Captain Brownbeards boat and left the isle behind for now. It was quite crowded. "Are we just goin' to abandon our home like that?" Babs questioned, quietly. "What do we do now?" Perry whined, sharing her concern. "Did we just give up like that?" Anessas voice sounded sorrowful. Everyone was in a sort of panic and distress. "Everyone, listen up" Serrah called out, "We will come back, only leaving until we find out what to do. We simply can't fight anymore, we're growing weak with each day. But we will show the Children that they'll never win when we return!" It took no effect to be heard, as silence surrounded her. "And we'll give these trouble makers a good beating!" Malroth added, clearly hungry for violence. Day began to shine, though the sky wasn't bright blue anymore. Captain Brownbeard has been sailing aimlessly until he found an island very far away, somewhere they could gather strength to bring back. Mabye all isn't lost after all. Mabye this battle can be won...
