Tonight was the night of our big apartment warming party.

"... Is your mom coming?" I asked as I hung up some streamers.

"Yeah, I called her yesterday. How about your parents?"

I nodded as I stepped off the chair. "Yep, texted them this morning."

She set a couple bowls of chips out. "I guess that's everyone then."

I nodded. "Yeah, I just hope they're all gonna fit."

She chuckled as a knock rang out from our door.

Rebecca smiled and rushed over. "Ooh, our first guests."

I chuckled as I walked up behind her.

She pulled the door open, revealing Blake and Kat. "Hey, guys, c'mon in."

"Hey, are we early?" Blake asked.

Rebecca shrugged. "Kinda, but that's fine."

We led them inside and took seats at the kitchen table as we waited for everyone else to show up.

"So, Kat was telling me about your plans for the Cover Girls reunion." Blake started.

"And? What do you think?" I asked.

   She smiled. "I like it."

Kat stuck her fist towards me and I pounded it.

"Do you guys plan on filling me in?" Rebecca asked.

"I mean, if we have to..." I replied with a small smile.

Rebecca gave me a playful nudge. "C'mon, while we're young."

I laughed. "Well, we thought it would be cool to do an 80's theme. You know, play 80's music and dress up in 80's clothes."

Rebecca chuckled. "You do that normally."

I rolled my eyes and smiled. "Yeah, well, now everyone has to."

She gave me a humorous look. "So, your idea of a good time is making everyone dress up like you?"

"There's more to the 80's than leather jackets and Frye boots... and, hey, I like to think I dress pretty cool." I defended.

   Everyone laughed.

"Well, I for one, cant wait to see what Blake's gonna wear." Kat said, flashing her a smirk.

She smiled back. "Trust me, it's gonna be amazing."

A few knocks cut our conversation short. I got up and answered the door, revealing Wendy and Jen.

I let them in and after a few minutes, everyone else started showing up and the party was officially underway...

Quiet Riot blasted through our speakers as Rebecca and I lined up across from Candy and Angel for a round of beer pong.

"Twenty bucks on the newcomers." Kat said.

I looked up at her. "Really Kat? Where's your faith?"

   She shrugged. "You're rusty."

   "I'm with Kat." Wendy said.

I shook my head. "What great friends."

They laughed as I lined up my first shot and sunk it, naturally.

I stood up and faced them. "Looks like you ladies bet wrong."

They shook their heads as the game continued on. It ended with Rebecca and I winning and collecting the failed bets from Wendy and Kat.

"Damn, you're good." Angel said.

I patted my back. "Some things you just never forget."

Wendy shook her head. "Wow, you won a game that involves drinking. What a surprise." She said sarcastically.

Everyone laughed.

"Sounds like your jealous." I replied.

She scoffed. "Jealous? No. Pissed off that I lost twenty bucks? Hell yes."

I chuckled. "That's because of your lack of faith, my friend."

She rolled her eyes.

"You guys wanna play?" Candy asked Wendy and Kat.

They nodded and started resetting the cups.

I turned to Rebecca. "I guess I better go make my rounds."

She smiled. "Same, see you soon."

I planted a soft kiss on her lips before walking off.

I stopped in the living room where Beth, Kris, Stephanie, and Billy stood, talking and drinking.

"Hey, guys, how're you liking the party?" I asked.

Billy wrapped his arm around Stephanie's shoulder. "It's great, thanks for inviting us."

Stephanie smiled. "It's great to have everyone back together again."

"Seriously, it's been way to long." Kris said.

"I hate to agree but, I did miss hanging out with everyone." Beth added.

I ruffled her hair. "Awe, you really do love us."

She rolled her eyes. "I change my mind, this sucks."

   We laughed.

"Well, you guys have fun." I said before walking over to Mike and John, who sat at the kitchen table with Bailey and Alice.

"How's it going over here?" I asked, leaning against the counter.

"Great, I'm happy to see everyone back together and having fun." Mike said.

John nodded his agreement. "Agreed and I'm happy to see you and Rebecca back together again. You guys truly belong together."

I smiled. "Thanks, I missed her a lot and I'm happy to have her back."

Bailey stood up and patted my shoulder. "We're all really happy for you."

   "Thanks."

Alice looked around at everyone with a happy sigh. "I love you guys."

I squeezed her shoulder. "And we love you right back."

She flashed me a quick smile.

"Well, I gotta run." I said with a wave before walking back into the crowd.

After talking to a few more people, I gathered the band in the living room.

I stood up on a chair and got everyone's attention.

Everyone quieted down as I started to speak. "Alright, everyone, I just wanted to start by saying thanks for coming out today. You're my favorite people in the world and it's good to have this whole, crazy family back together again."

   Everyone cheered a little.

I smiled. "Now that the mushy stuff's out of the way, we have an announcement to make. The Cover Girls reunion is this Saturday and we decided to do an 80's theme for it. We'll be playing 80's only music and everyone is expected to dress up."

A few cheers and whistles rang out.

Beth sighed loudly. "Do we have to?"

"You do if you wanna be allowed in." I replied.

She rolled her eyes. "Fine, whatever."

I smiled. "Great, I can't wait to see what everyone's gonna wear. But, for now, let's party!"

Everyone cheered loudly as we went back to partying...

A few hours later, the party started to wind down and people started heading out.

Rebecca and I stood by the door as the last of the guests filed out.

"Thanks for coming everyone, we'll see you Saturday." I said.

After everyone left, we put the kids to bed, then collapsed on the couch.

Rebecca turned to me with a smile. "Man, I'm so psyched for the reunion."

I returned her smile. "Glad to hear it. You know what you're gonna wear?"

She flashed me a mischievous smirk. "I have a few ideas in mind."

   "Like?"

She stood up and kissed my forehead. "You'll just have to wait and see."

I let out a sarcastic sigh. "What a tease."

She chuckled. "C'mon, we should get some sleep."

She took my hand and led me to our room for the night.

The anticipation for the Cover Girls reunion was high and I honestly couldn't wait...
