Hey, Readers!!!!!  I know it's been a really long time since I posted a story, but what can I say : SCHOOL IS HELL!!!! Anyhoo, here's Chapter 17, ENJOY!!!!!

Lucy P.O.V

"LISANNA!" Natsu screamed to the top of his lungs. "GET YOUR ASS OUT HERE!"  Anger was boiling up as he continued to scream into the dark forest. All I did was stare at the ground. I could feel my heart beginning to fail, and I felt like I was about to faint. 

My brother and father, who I've forgotten about until I regained my memory, were now dead.

I tried to stand, but I ended up falling to the ground. Natsu ran up to me and asked, "Are you alright?"

All I did was shake my head. Tears began to fall down m face, which were a surprise because I thought I was all out of tears. I buried my face into Natsu's kimono, and he gentley held me tight. Suddenly, my heart began to beat immensley. It brought pain through my body, and I cried of pain. "Lucy!" Natsu exclaimed. 

That's when my vision when black. Just like with the assissin, I remembered. I see a reaper roaming the forest, and everything behind it were dying. It took me a while who it was. The God of Grief! I thought in my head. "Natsu......run!" I gasped.

"Why?" Natsu asked. "What's going on?" 

"God..." was all I could say. My vision went black again, and I could see the god once again. He was less than a foot away from us. He brought up his scythe, getting ready to swipe off Natsu's head. "Duck!" I screamed.

Natsu did as he was told, and that was when the god appeared. He had that eerie and depressing look; a worn out cape, a cracked skull, bones for hands, and a shiny new looking scythe. "I am the God of Grief~!" He moaned. I backed away, driven with fear. He looked at me with his hollow eyes, and he suddenly smiled. He floated around me and said, "You are filled with grief, my beautiful. You will be a per~fect dinner."

I screamed and backed away, my body filled with fear. "Get away from her!" Natsu screamed. "Fire Dragon's Roar!" As fire flew out of Natsu's mouth, the grim reaper shrieked through pain. I crawled to Natsu's side, and he protected me with all his might. The grim reaper's eyes were filled with anger. "You will die~!" He roared. He dashed towards Natsu and swung his scythe around. Natsu was able to dodge most of them, until the last swing, where he was severly cut. He fell to the ground, and I screamed, "Natsu!"

"Stay back!" He screamed, trying to get up. He winced in pain and just fell to the ground. Seeing Natsu like this, it made me angry. At the reaper. I stood up with all my might and screamed, "I already lost two people that I love! You will not take another!" 

And with that, the real battle begun. Using almost all the Water Magic I've learned, I was fighting for our lives. I kept attacking the god, but he was swift. "Bubble Shot!" I chanted. My spell hit the god directly on the gut. Direct shot, I cheered in my head. 

He looked at me and growled, "Death Pillar!"

"Watch out, Lucy!" Natsu screamed. 

But I was too slow. Almost instantly, I was attacked by his spell, and pain surged through my whole body. I screamed with pain, pain that I've never felt before. I fell to the ground, the pain continuing to control my body. Natsu crawled to my side and said with a shake voice, "You'll be okay. We'll get out of this." He kissed my forehead, giving me a little pleasure. "Now, you will die~!" The God of Grief screamed. Slowly, I got up, and I've had it. 

I was done with these battles.

I was done with all these deaths.

And most of all, I was sick of Lisanna.

Using all the magic I had left, I chanted to the top of my lungs, "Water of Life!" Suddenly, everything that was living (except for Natsu) were surrounding me. I could feel their life sources filling me up, regaining my power. Using the spell, I turned everything into a special kind of water. I raised my hands, but before releasing the attack, I growled at the god, "Go to hell." And with that, I released all my magic on the grim reaper, and he screamed in pain. He was soon vaporized, and I could see his soul descending to the ground, making his way to hell. I look over at Natsu, who was still injured. "Natsu!" I exclaimed. I start to heal his wound, but he suddenly began to chuckle. "What's so funny?" I asked.

" 'Go to hell'? That's the cheeziest line in the book." He continued to chuckle.

I blushed. "I had to say final words to him." He put his hand on my face and stroke it gently. I touched his hand, and then looked up to see my father's and brother's body gone. "Where are the bodies?" I asked.

"He took them." He said grimly. He turned his hand into a fist and punched the ground hard. "It's all my fault!"

"How's it your fault?" I asked in concern.

"I placed your real family in danger, and they ended up dead!" His face looked sad, almost hurt. I grabbed his face we were an inch apart. "Don't you ever, ever, blame yourself for something you didn't do!" And with that, I stuck my lips on his, trying to make the tension disappear. His hand was placed on my back, and it was slowly going lower and lower to my rump. Suddenly, we heard clapping from behind the tree where my brother and father were killed. We both pulled away and looked over at the tree. Natsu squeezed me, but in a protective way. Someone appeared from behind the tree, and we both gasped.

It was Lisanna.

Natsu P.O.V

Anger boiled inside when I saw Lisanna standing before us. I gently pushed Lucy away and stood up tall. "You've got some guts to appear in front of me." I growled.

"Natsu-Kun, what are you talking about?" Lisanna asked in an innocent act.

I grabbed the collar of her sailor dress. "Don't talk shit to me! I know what you did to Lucy!"

"I did it for the sake of our love!" Lisanna yelled. "We had something more powerful than what you and her thought you had!"

"Don't act like you know my feelings!" I screamed. I was about to punch her in the face, but somethhing stopped my punch. I look back to see that it was Lucy. "Lucy, what are you-?" I asked, but she suddenly walked between Lisana and me. Her face was expressionless. "What's wrong with you?" Lisanna asked, her face is expressionless as well.

"What's wrong with me? You dare ask what's wrong with me!" Lucy suddenly screamed. "Ever since you suddenly came back to life, the person that I love the most almost abandonedme for life, and now my family is dead! Dead!" Tears began to flow down her face. Lisanna scoffed. "Stop crying like a little baby!"

"Do you even have a soul!" I screamed back at her.

"Oh, so now you're taking her side!" Lisanna screamed. "Do you have any idea what I've given up to find you!"

Lucy wiped the tears from her face and asked, "Why don't you tell us what actually happened five years ago?"

"Okay, fine! I'll tell you! That wasn't me that died on the battle field!" Lisanna screamed.

My eyes went wide. "What are you talking about?"

"I cloned myself. I knew what would happen that day, so I cloned myself and ran." Lisanna said silently.

"You ran? Where?" Lucy asked.

Lisanna was silent. I became very impatient. I pinned Lisanna onto the tree and yelled, "Where did you run!" 

"I went to sell my soul!" She screamed. Lucy gasped. I looked over at Lucy, who's eyes were wide with shock. "You.......you didnt." Lucy whispered.

"Oh, yes! Yes I did!" She suddenly screamed. She showed a maniac smile. "What are you two talking about!" I asked.

"This explains.....everything." Lucy's voice shaked.

I grabbed her shoulders and asked, "What in the world are you talking about!"

Lucy avoided my eys for a minute. "Let her tell you."

I looked over at Lisanna, who was still smiling. "What is she talking about?" I asked Lisanna.

Lisanna walked up to me and whispered in my ear, "I sold my soul to the Six Gods so that they could be free."
