"This thing called life is a weird rotation

that we are just used to

each day goes by with the same foundation

and we're mostly left feeling blue

people dwell on the past

or stress about the future

every moment goes fast

becoming hard to capture

this cycle's a horror

we either live in denial

or complete sorrow

that lasts us awhile

we don't stop to relish

in the present

to wholly cherish

a moment

to suspend time and reality

and let everything else dissipate

that's something I wish I could do

cause if I close my eyes, I might just miss it."
