Astrid's POV

I ran out the house and jumped onto Stormfly. I tapped her side and she took off into the air. I scanned the whole village, the whole forest but no sign of him. I headed back to the village and there was still no sign of him.

I spotted Snotlout and everyone else so I landed right in front of them. "Hey watch where your landing you maniac!" Snotlout shouted at me. I moved my head so he could see who it was "Oh, oh um s-sorry Astrid, d-didn't see you there," he stuttered. "Yeah of course," I replied, "Have any of you seen Hiccup anywhere?" I carried on. They all shook their heads.

"Urgh dammit," I said with irritation. "What's the problem anyway?" asked Tuff, I looked at him and replied "He's going through a rough time, that's the reason he came back here and we were talking about it and he left with a rage about him," Tuff lifted him head that showed that for once he actually understood what I said.

"Hey I'll tell you what, we shall help you find him, yeah how about that," Ruff said to me. "That is the most stupidest thing that I have ever heard," Tuff said to Ruff then carried on "Now here's what we should do, we shall help Astrid look for him," we all looked at each other with the same expression, confusion.

"Didn't Ruff already-," I cut Fishlegs off "Okay yeah that will be great help, okay Ruff,Tuff you take the north, Snotlout you take the east, Fishlegs you take the west and I shall take the south. Okay make a signal if you find him, lets go," and we took off.

<hours later>

Still there was no luck. But just as I was about to give up, I saw I small figure sitting on a sea stack. As I got closer I could see a dragon next to them. It was Hiccup and Toothless. I landed behind him, Toothless noticed and came running to me, then started having fun with Stormfly.

I went over and sat on the left side of Hiccup. We sat there in silence for a good while until I broke the silence "Hey look I'm sorry about earlier, I shouldn't of forced you to tell me about," I stopped and he looked up at me. His eyes were emerald green but they were sad I could tell. Then I carried on "I just thought that if you talked about it then it would make you feel better."

I was getting ready for him to shout, scream or say something. Or even start to walk away, but he didn't he stayed. He then replied "No I'm sorry Astrid, you didn't do anything wrong, I shouldn't of shouted at you, you were trying to help." That put a smile on my face and once he saw it he smiled too.

"I thought about what you said, and yeah maybe I should speak to someone about it, it may make me feel better," he fell down onto my shoulder and rested his head. I hesitated but in the end I placed my arm over his shoulder and rested my head on top of his.

"Well I'm all ears," I told him. He laughed and then went "Okay well it was Jack-" I cut him off "That Frost boy seriously," "Yeah now listen-" so I shut up and listened, "It's been going on for a while, all we ever do is fight, fight and fight. I'm sick and tired of it. It was always a had battle fight with Pitch. I did some things that went wrong but other than that we got along fine. But this time I nearly got them all killed. Its not that, sometimes they act as if I'm not there and they never listen to me. I'm fed up of it."

That was intense "Whoa, so that's why you left," he nodded. I felt it even though he still had his head on my shoulder. "So that means they don't know about you being-" he cut me off "No they don't and I'd like to keep it that way," I replied "Okay but maybe if they knew they would understand," he sighed "But you know why I don't wanna," I sighed as well and agreed with him.
