Astrid's POV

It's been lonely here on Berk. There's nothing to do. Ever since Hiccup left all of us have had nothing to do. And by all of us I mean me, Fishlegs, Snotlout, and the twins Ruffnut and Tuffnut (Ruff and Tuff). When Hiccup was here we had the dragon training academy to keep us going but since he is gone we have nothing.

The twins just mess about all the time, Fishlegs just reads and does nothing else. And I have had the joy of Snotlout flirting with me all the time. Other than that it's been boring.

To pass my time through the months, or years who can tell anymore because I can't. I just fly Stormfly around the places me and Hiccup used to hang out. It's not the same without him. It was getting late so I decided to head back to the village.

When I got there, there was a big group of people standing in the middle of the village. I went over to see what the big fuss was about. I asked a women "Hey what's going on?" but she didn't answer me just joined with the fuss.

Then I found Snotlout and the others and went over to them. "Hey what's all the fuss about?" I asked them, they looked at me with confused expressions on their faces. "Hello anyone gonna answer me or what?" I asked them with a tone in my voice. "I'm surprised you don't know," Tuff said to me, I made a gesture to them to carry on. They all point up at the sky.

I turned around and looked up to where they were pointing. In the distance there was this black dot getting bigger and bigger. It was coming this way, straight towards us. As it got closer to us it wasn't just anything, it was a dragon. But not just any dragon. It was a NightFury.

It landed on the ground and someone was on top of the dragon. It wasn't just anybody. It was....it was Hiccup!

He looked straight at me, while I hurtled into a run and ran and pulled him into a hug. I held on tightly and didn't let go. He embraced the hug and we were there for like about 2 minutes at least I would say until we both let go and smiled at each other.

I could feel myself start blushing.
