A lot of time has passed since the adegast found the jewel

He found out the most powerful witch in the boiling isles eda clawthorne

Was teaching something to be a witch and this was a rare something which was rarely ever seen human girl known as Luz noceda

The adegast disguised himself as a wizard and gave the human girl a quest but in reality it was all a trick to lure the owl lady into a trap which worked and now the adegast has the owl lady and her little pet wrapped in one of his tentacles

Adegast:"eda i have you now!".

Eda:"that's right you have me now release Luz!".

King:"I didn't have to be a part of this!".

King strains out while being squeezed by one of adegasts puppets while eda gives him a "really?" Look

Adegast:"oh she can leave if she wants to but I sense she wants a real fantasy".

One of adegast puppets blows a light purple smoke onto luz as everything disappears into darkness until all of the "people" Luz met on the quest appeared

Nevareth:"stay with us luz stay with adegast we need you here you could be our chosen one".

Fairy queen:"ya you can eat our tiny foods forever".

Nevareth:"luz why would you want to live in a world where people laugh at you?".

Luz:..."it is beautiful here".

On the outside of the dark void eda is calling Luz's name hoping to snap her out of it

Luz:"and you guys think I'm special"...

The puppets slowly move towards Luz now looking more disturbing until

Luz:"BUT ITS NOT REAL!".

Luz pushes the puppets aside and runs out the smoke grabbing the toy sword she brought

Luz:"i am a witches apprentice and I'm gonna earn my magic staff the hard way I believed you magic man now feel my wrath!".

Luz takes a step only to hear a shattered sound and looks down to see the red jewel she collected on her fake quest it didn't disappear she questioned

Luz:"whoops"...

All of a sudden the ground begins to shake as everyone even the adegast begins to panic and question what's happening

King:"wait a minute ground shaking"...

He then looks up to the sky and sees the moon starts to glow crimson red

King:"red glowing moon...no it can't be?"...

Then the broken shards melted into liquid and made a symbol on the floor

King:*GASP*"IT IS ITS HIM!".

King started to let out little squeals of excitement while quickly clapping his little hands with stars in his eyes

The adegast quickly brings king to his face and shake him

Adegast:"Who tell me who!".

But king was to excited to care

Eda:"uh ya I would also like to know?".

King:"eda how do you not remember!? I've talked about him for months! You even met him!".

Eda:"wait a minute...don't tell me...it's-"

King:"THE DARKNESS!".

Luz:the darkness?...

The adegast then gasped in shock and terror

Adegast:like...t-the f-

The symbols glow now started to die down as a hand black as coal quickly shot out and grabbed the floor then another did the same as the others watched in shock

The entity now fully pulling itself out stands up then the dark shadow covering it begins to fly off him as if it's being blown of by the wind

It first blows off its feet revealing it now had black shoes then it's legs which now has black pants then it's torso which reveals a grey hoodie then on top of its head appears (h/s) hair which was black then it's skin appeared which was gray

(H/s means hairstyle also you can add your features to your face and ears)

The person who appears to be male starts cracking his neck then let's out a sigh of satisfaction then he starts looking at his hands then down to his body then begins touching his face

???:"hmmmm...".

King:"it's him!".

Eda:"well I'll be it really is him he looks younger though...and looks way different from last time".

The boy then turns to the two who are still in the adegast hold who starts to panic from being spotted

Adegast:"m-my apologies s-sir I did not know you were in that jewel y-you see my business was being threatened by this criminal here".

Eda:"pff like your any better"...

Adegast:"you understand right?."...

The boy says nothing as he just glares at the adegast eyes not blinking as a few seconds pass by

The adegast was about to speak again until he realized he couldn't in fact he couldn't move either the only thing he could move was his eyes as he looked down to see he had a red outline around him

The adegasts puppets then poof out of thin air including the ones holding eda and king

Eda:"ugh finally-.

The boy then made a two crimson red glyphs as they flew next to eda and king then dark arms came out grabbing the two

Eda:"oh come on!."

The boy then lifted his hand making the adegast float in the air then slowly making his hand into a fist as the adegast also slowly started to shrink until the adegast true form was revealed

(At least I think that's his real form)

The boy walked up to the tiny adegast and picked him up then ate him whole

???:"ah just what I need heh".

He then turned to eda and king

???:"well well well if it isn't eda the owl lady".

Eda:"darkness..."

???:"long time no see".

Eda:"and who's fault is that?".

???:"you know who...but it was nice not seeing you but you just had to ruin it-

Luz:"HIYA!".

Luz tried to hit the boy with her fake sword but he just turned around and caught her wrist then started floating in the air

Eda:"LUZ! Put her down now!".

King:"if he wants a sacrifice we can use her right?".

Eda:"king!".

King:"what!?".

The boy finally stops floating up as Luz looks down to see they're pretty high up

The boy then starts examining her then looks at her ears to see she's human his eyes slightly widen for a second before he had his serious expression again

He lifts his arm a bit higher raising Luz up so that they're now face to face as he stares In her eyes

Luz:"umm...".

She looks down again then back at the boy and builds up enough courage to talk

Luz:"I am Luz noceda and uh...I demand you let me and my friends go!...please?..."

She says as she closes her eyes expecting the worse

The boys eyes again slightly widen as eda flinches and closes her eyes also expecting something bad...only for the boy to let out a small snicker

Luz:"wha"?...

Hearing this eda also opens her eyes to see the boy slowly start laughing

???:"heh...hehe...hahaha...HAHAHAHAH!!!".

While Luz watches the boy with a confused look eda looks over to king who just shrugged his shoulders and went back to watching

Now slowing down his laughing the boy wipes a red tear from his eye as he lets out a sigh

???:"heh...*sighs*...I like you".

Luz:"huh?".

???:"what was your name again?".

Luz:"umm Luz...Luz noceda..."

???:"heh you caught me off guard with the whole demanding joke".

Luz:"joke?".

???:wait you were serious pfff haha that's it even better!.

Luz:"uh so since you know my name could you put me down now?".

???:"hmmmmmmm...sure".

To her shock the boy literally let's go of her wrist as she starts falling down to the ground as king and eda widen their eyes in shock...well eda did king kinda knew this would happen

Luz closes her eyes waiting to hit the hard ground...but felt no pain

She opens her eyes to see the boy caught her by the back of her shirt she then looks up to the boy to see him smirking

???:"fooled ya huh?.

Luz:"T-THAT WASN'T FUNNY YOU MADE ME THINK YOU DROPPED ME!!!"

???:"hahaha that's the point sweet heart aww man it feels good to be back I needed this".

Luz:"be back?...wait do you mean and what even are you?".

The boy then looks Luz straight in her eyes

???:"what am I?...I'm the person who makes you think there's something watching you in the dark".

He takes a step closer to Luz making her back up a bit

???:"I'm the shadows that cover everything in the universes".

While this is going on eda is trying to get out of the arms that have her wrapped up while king is getting excited that the boy is doing his speech

???:"I'm the person that makes you think there's something chasing you when you turn off all the lights at night".

Luz:"a bit specific but ok..."

???:"I am the dark side of the moon I am...𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬".

Luz then stands there confused the boy notices this and puts on a confused look as well

???:"that didn't ring any bells seriously?".

Luz:"uhhhh nope?".

???:"huh...really there's no one in your world burning buildings or causing chaos?".

Luz:"what? No of course not".

???:"oh then I'm not in that world or either no ones found it yet...".

Luz:"what".

???:"eh nothing well it's been fun but I got business to handle".

The boy turns to leave until luz calls out to him

Luz:"WAIT! what about my friends!?".

The boy stops and turns his head to eda and king

???:"oh ya ya sure whatever".

He snaps his fingers making the arms let go and pull themselves back into the glyphs and disappear

???:"happy no-

The boy then moves his head to the side dodging a blast eda sent at him making it hit one of the trees

Luz:"EDA!?".

King:"no stop what are you doing!?".

Eda:"what he started it"?.

???:"bad move owl lady..."

The boy turns to eda with a glare until Luz stands in the way of the two

Luz:"hey now let's all just calm down now no need to get violent!".

Eda:"he was violent from the start!".

The boy stands there for a bit until he puts his hand down

???:"tch fine your lucky I don't wanna get blood on me".

The boy now turns around and flys off the ground about to fly away until he struggles for a bit until he lands on the ground he tries one more time until the same thing happens

While watching this eda let's out a snort of laughter

Eda:"you can't be serious".

???:"shut up!".

Luz:"what's happening eda?".

Eda:"mr "I don't wanna get blood on me" here is out of power".

???:"quiet it has been a very long since I was trapped in that jewel".

Eda:"eh well I had my laugh come on let's go back".

King:"bye darkness big fan!".

The three were about to get on the broom until the boy called out to them

???:"WAIT! Maybe oh I don't know take me with you?".

Eda:"......really?".

???:"ya okay fair but perhaps we can make a deal then?".

Eda:"you can't be serious...what could you possibly offer us? I gotta hear this".

The boy started thinking what could he offer he just got out of the jewel today until he took a shot and said something

???:"what about magic?".

This caught Luz's attention eda noticed this and pinched the bridge of her eyes asking herself why did she let him speak

Luz:"magic?".

???:"yes very powerful magic magic nobody else has! doesn't that sound interesting?".

Luz:"i mean it does sound nice...".

Eda:"kid you can't be serious just look at him!".

Luz:"I know eda but think about me having magic nobody else has plus wouldn't it be great to have a powerful ally?".

Eda:"that's the thing Luz! He'd probably rat us out the second he gets the chance king tell luz how dumb this is...king?".

She looked down to see king nowhere near her then looked up towards the boy to see king talking with him

King:"it's so great to finally meet you! I'd heard all the story's all the violence I just gotta say big fan".

The boy then crouched down to kings level and stares into his eyes

???:"you......remind me of a friend of mine".

King:"really is it a good friend or one of those weird friends?".

???:"honestly he's both but I'd say he's a good one".

King:"yes!".

For some reason this small creature was making the boy feel...nice he wanted to destroy things just to see his reaction honestly he'd probably enjoy it he thought

Luz:"that's two votes eda pleeeeeeese?".

Eda looked at Luz to see her doing puppy eyes she then looks over to king to see him doing the same until she lets out a long groan

Eda:"...fine".

Luz:"yes I'm going to learn dark magic...doesn't really sound good when I say it out loud!".

???"you have my appreciation owl lady".

Eda:"ya ya whatever but".

She twirls her staff and points it in front of the boys face

Eda:"if I catch you trying anything funny I'll make sure you wish you were back in that crystal".

The boy had a scowl look for a second until he takes a breath and replaces it with a smirk

???:"understood owl lady".

She then pulls back the staff and walks away while the boy tightens his first and thinks to himself

???:"*thoughts* once I fully recover my power you'll regret that eda clawthorne"...

He then notices Luz walking towards him and calms down

Luz:"so since we're going to be working together what's your name?".

Y/n:"call me...y/n".

SOMEWHERE ELSE

A figure who appears to be female quickly lifts her head up towards a window until she hurry's to a room and stands in front of a crystal ball

The ball glows crimson red until two figures appear one male the other female they both are covered by shadows

???:"what is it now Cassandra?".

Cassandra:"he's back mother".

The two figures widen their eyes until they calmed down

???:"are you sure it's him this time?".

Cassandra:"yes mother I caught a glimpse of his energy it feels just like you said...heavy".

???:"so someone has freed him..."

Cassandra:"indeed should I alert Alexander?".

???:"no he has more important matters if he becomes a problem you can't handle then alert him and be wary of him don't let your guard down".

Cassandra:"understood mother".

The crystal ball then powered down as Cassandra then walked over to the window and stared out into the boiling isles

Cassandra:"so you've finally been set free..."

Finally got the first chapter out at first I was kinda having double thoughts about this story but the more I wrote it the more I was getting into it well that's all hope you liked it stay safe and have a nice day or night
