Everyone sat in the library silently. Reyna was bound, tied to a chair and gagged. I vaguely heard the sound of something rolling on the floor. Mr. Brunner came wheeling in, smiling cheerfully.
"Hello children. That was one hectic storm last night. The power everywhere went out. How have you been? All friends now?" He asked. Nobody even turned to look at him.
"Where is Rachel, Bianca, Jason and Octavian? And why is Reyna tied up?" He asked, looking around. Piper and Bianca simultaneously burst into tears. Hazel buried her face in Frank's body.
"What? What's wrong?" Mr. Brunner asked, looking concerned. Percy stood up, bags clear under his eyes from the long night. Everyone else had them too.
"Sir, we need to tell you something."

"They found Jason's body in Mr. Blofis's class." Percy reported, returning to the group of teenagers from talking to the police. "Reyna is being arrested now. Bianca, Rachel and Octavian's bodies are being moved. Leo is being patched up by the medics. They say he'll be fine. He's just got a concussion, but he's recovering okay." Calypso let out a relieved sigh. "And by tomorrow any trace of this happening will be gone."
"I can't believe they just... erased it all. Like it was pencil on a piece of paper." Annabeth shivered.
"I can't believe it's over. The nightmare is finally over." Piper whispered.
"I never knew that Reyna would be able to kill them..." Hazel choked out.
"What are we supposed to do now?" Nico asked.
"How will our lives ever be the same?" Frank muttered.
"Our lives won't be the same." Percy interupted. "We just need to push past it. We can't base our lives on what happened today." There was silence.
"You know what?" I asked, looking around. Everyone looked at me. "In a strange way, Mr. Brunner's punishment worked."
"Yeah. I guess we're all friends now. Right?" Frank looked around. Everyone nodded and murmured their agreement.
"Strangely enough, I guess this experience did bring us closer together."
