3rd Person POV

After helping rebuild Lumiose City and getting the Lumiose City Gym back online for the past several weeks, Ash had gone back home to the Kanto region, while Serena went to the Hoenn region to pursue Poke'mon contests.

(Y/n) explained to Professor Sycamore his adventures and meeting Team RWBY, he also explained how Charizard X forced himself to evolve without the use of a Mega Stone and acts like a natural evolution as Charizard X has not reverted back to it's previous form since the fight with Cinder 3 months earlier.

Professor Sycamore was also impressed with how strong Team RWBY's Poke'mon were, despite how young they still are. Guess fighting super strong souless monsters kinda helps with that, huh?

Timeskip 5 Years Later

The next five years were really good for all of Team RWBY, but like most journeys, their paths towards their new dreams made them split up. Ruby and Fenris were offered work as a Poke'mon Ranger and have done so to great effect. Weiss has started her own company by making investments into companies from various fields of Poke'mon study. Weiss does not take security lightly, and she puts heavy restrictions on how to use the power of Poke'mon responsibly. Yang and Scorchimp have gone to train with other Fighting type Poke'mon Masters, they hope to enter a Fighting Type tournament soon. Blake has taken up the journey of a Poke'mon Trainer, with (Y/n) supervising her of course, but she and Spooky are striving to become another of the great Poke'mon trainers already out there. (Y/n), while traveling with Blake and Spooky as their training master, has kept a watchful eye on the world and has showed up to calm any crisis situation, whether it's disruptions between people and Poke'mon, rooting out poaching and smuggling rings, and dismantling groups that seek to use Poke'mon for their own evil ambitions.

Every now and again, the group loves to meet up and just celebrate. Today is no exception...

(Y/n): *excited* Come on, Blake! We're gonna be late!

Blake: Calm down, (Y/n). They're our friends, they're not gonna care if we're late.

(Y/n): I know, but I wanna-

Weiss: Hello, (Y/n).

(Y/n) looks at the oak tree on the hill and sees Weiss and Snowflake sitting elegantly on a blanket, and Weiss has a smug look on her face.

(Y/n): *bummed* Awww! I wanted to get here first.

Weiss: *sarcastic* Well, sorry to be a disappointment for you.

(Y/n): No! No!-

Weiss and Blake start laughing, (Y/n) blushes heavily as he realizes the joke. Spooky and Snowflake happily greet each other. A rumble of a motorcycle engine is heard getting closer, the trio of trainers look and see Yang riding towards their location. Yang stops her motorcycle a short distance away from the group and Scorchimp leaps down from the trees and lands next to Yang. Yang removes her helmet and dismounts her bike, she shakes her head a little and shooshes her hair then looks at Blake, Weiss and (Y/n) with a smile.

Yang: Hey, gang!

Blake: Hello. Ya-Whoa!

Yang grabs all three friends and pulls them into a tight hug.

Weiss: *strained* Yang!

Blake: *strained* Air, please!

Yang: In a minute.

(Y/n): *strained* Seriously, oxygen! Room going dark.

Scorchimp gives the same treatment to Snowflake, Spooky and Charizard X, before both he and Yang let go of their friends.

(Y/n): *catches breath* It's really great to see you Yang.

Blake: How's training with Chuck going?

Yang: He's a martial arts and Fighting type Master! Scorchimp and I are learning a lot from him. What do you say to a Poke'mon battle, (Y/n)?

(Y/n): Sure, Charizard X and I could use a workout before lunch.

Ruby: *in distance, getting closer* WAAAAAIIIIT!

Ruby suddenly comes from off-screen and tackles Yang to the ground, Yang lays on the ground, with Ruby latched around her neck, dazed.

Yang: *dizzy* Ruby.... Great to see you, Sis.

Ruby gets up before helping Yang to her feet, she then turned to everyone else with a big smile on her face.

Ruby: Oh my goodness! I missed you all so much!

Weiss: It's good to see you too, Ruby.

Blake: But why the rush?

Ruby: *excited* Fenris and I overheard battle and I didn't want to miss it!

Yang: But Ruby, the battle hasn't even started yet.

Weiss: It'll take a little bit for Blake and I to set up lunch, Yang and (Y/n) can battle until then.

(Y/n): You sure we can't help you?

Blake approaches (Y/n), leans up and softly kisses his left cheek, to which he lightly blushes as Blake smiles at him.

Blake: Go have fun.

(Y/n): Okay... *refocuses* Yang, ready?!

Yang: Waiting on you, lover boy! *laughes loudly*

(Y/n): Oh, it's on. Let's go, Charizard X!

Charizard X: *proudly* *ROAR!*

Yang: Scorchimp, ready to go?

Scorchimp simply smirks and slams his right fist into his left palm, causing a spark of flames, before he too, takes to the battlefield.

Ruby: I'll be referee! *clears throat* This battle will now get underway. This will be a one on one battle, where both trainers will use only one Poke'mon each. The battle will be over when one Poke'mon on either side is unable to continue battling. Furthermore, there will be no substitutions.

Yang and (Y/n) stare each other down, waiting for Ruby to begin the match....

Ruby: All right! Battle begin!

Yang: First move wins it! Scorchimp, Flare Blitz!

The audio fades out as the scene and soundtrack are only heard. Scorchimp envelopes itself in orange flames which then turn to blue and he charges at Charizard X. (Y/n) gives Charizard X a command, and Charizard X dodges by flapping his wings and flies into the air to dodge. Charizard X turns to face the ground and then blasts several Flamethrowers at Scorchimp. Scorchimp uses it's agility to effectively dodge all the Flamethrowers as well as the resulting explosions.

(Y/n) commands Charizard X to use Thunder Punch, Charizard envelops it's fist in electricity as it charges down at Scorchimp. Yang responds with commanding Close Combat, Scorchimp jumps up and manages to land his attack first and deals several blows to Charizard X's body, but Charizard X manages to power through it and land one savage blow to Scorchimp, sending him crashing to the ground. Scorchimp manages to recover and leaps back into the air at Charizard X with Mach Punch, and while the move hit Charizard X in the cheek, Charizard X manages again to power through the damage, recover and lifts both his fists up and slam them down on Scorchimp with another Thunder Punch, sending Scorchimp crashing to the ground once again.

Surprisingly, Scorchimp recovers again and leaps back into the air and hits Charizard X with another Close Combat, landing several hits and sending Charizard X backwards. As he is sent back, Charizard X slams onto the ground and uses Earthquake, hitting and dealing major damage to Scorchimp.

The two keep exchanging blows for a few minutes until Yang calls for one last Flare Blitz, Scorchimp, once again, envelops itself in blue flames ajd charges at Charizard X. (Y/n) responds with calling for Outrage, Charizard roars loudly as it's eyes turn red and it's body is enveloped in dragon type energy, he then charges right at Scorchimp. The two are seen charging each other, then clash into each other, creating a huge plume of smoke. Off to the side Blake and Weiss are trying to keep their picnic from being blown away, their Poke'mon trying to hang onto the ground. Ruby tries to peer through the smoke as it starts to dissapate. Eventually, the smoke clears and shows both Charizard X and Scorchimp still standing and staring each other down. After a few seconds though, Scorchimp goes limp and collapses to the ground while Charizard X spits some flames at the ground next to him and huffs.

(A/N): End music here.

Ruby: And that's it, Infernape is unable to battle! The winner is Charizard X and (Y/n).

(Y/n): *proud* Yes!

Charizard X: *victorious Roar*

Yang takes a chance to catch her breath then calmly walks up to Scorchimp, whose just coming to. Yang reaches him, leans down and extends her hand to him with a proud smile on her face.

Yang: No shame in losing that battle, right?

Scorchimp smiles in agreement and takes Yang's hand, she then pulls him to his feet as (Y/n) is seen stroking Charizard X's lower jaw.

Yang: (Y/n) and Charizard are just too strong for us. At least for now.

(Y/n) and Yang congratulate each other and praise each other's performance.

(Y/n): You and Scorchimp are really in sync. I gotta admit, I was a little nervous when you managed to power through that Eartquake.

Yang: Yeah, but you and Charizard X are unbeatable together. But we'll get you next time.

(Y/n): I look forward to it.

The two trainers high five each other, while Charizard X and Scorchimp fist bump. Ruby is then seen approaching the four weary battlers.

Ruby: Whew! Man, that was cool! Can I battle next? Please, please, please, pleeeeeeeease!

(Y/n): Sure thing, Ruby.

Ruby: Yes!

Rub6 is about to race to the other end of the field when she is stops at the sound of Weiss' voice.

Weiss: That will have to wait until after lunch!

Ruby: *down* Awwww!

Blake: Come on, Ruby. You can't battle on an empty stomach.

Everyone then hears a stomach growling noise and Ruby looks shocked and then blushes in embarrassment as she shrinks away and holds her stomach.

Ruby: *chuckles embarrassingly* Yeah, I guess I am a little hungry.

Weiss: *smug* I thought so. Come on, everyone, soups on!

The trianers sit down at the blanket and let all their current poke'mon out of their Poke'balls to eat lunch as well. (Y/n) sits next Blake, she hands him a cold beer and the pair kiss each other on the lips. The group exchange stories as they eat lunch, smiling and laughing the whole time.

Weiss: So, this nutjob runs into the Poke'mon Center, high on something, and he's completely naked as a result! *as everyone laughs* I didn't know what to do, so I yelled out, 'Hey Brad! Cut it out!', and used Earth Dust to kick him to the hospital across the street!

Yang: Oh my god! *laughes harder*

Everyone laughes as stories continue being told, Blake is leaning against (Y/n) and holds his hand. Ruby notices and asks...

Ruby: Blake, (Y/n)? I know you guys are dating, but I've never seen you guys this lovey dovey.

(Y/n): Are we not aloud to be, lovey dovey?

Weiss: It just feels like you two are trying to tell us something.

Blake looks up at (Y/n) and smiles, (Y/n) looks at Blake and rolls his eyes while he wyrley chuckles to himself. Yang, Ruby and Weiss grow confused until Blake shows off an engagment ring on her ring finger.

Weiss: *shocked* Is that...?

Blake simply nods and both Yang and Weiss go nuts and start to congratulate her.

Ruby: *still confused* Wait, what'd I miss?

Blake: *chuckles* (Y/n) and I are getting married soon.

Ruby: *realization turns into excitment* Ya Hoooooooooooooo!

This causes (Y/n) to chuckle in the background as the girls continue cheering and praising Blake. Charizard X's snout appears behind (Y/n), then nuzzles against (Y/n)'s cheek.

(Y/n): Hey, bud.

(Y/n) reaches up and gently strokes Charizard's nose, Charizard X growls happily.

(Y/n): Yeah, everything's going to be just fine. Thanks for always being there for me, bud.

Charizard X nods and gives a low growl, Blake managed to tear herself away as the rest of her team excitedly talked amongst themselves. Blake takes (Y/n)'s left hand into her right one and smiles up at him. (Y/n) smiles back then the two along with Charizard X and Spooky look at the horizon of the Poke'mon world. For our heroes, the future looks very bright indeed.
