Tikki weeps. She hates this feeling. It is not like she can find out what happened after Plagg got on one knee. She knows she rather not know. It hurts too much.  Why is love so painful?

"Tikki, it is the New Year!"

She tries to ignore this feeling of de ja Vu when she hears someone speak.  There is no way.  It can not be him.

"Why are you out here all alone?"

Tikki turns around at the sound of his voice.

"Wait, what are you doing here?  I thought you were with her."

"Shh, I will explain it all soon enough."

"It sure is great to see you again. The dress looks great on you."

     "Whatever," she mumbles.

"Wow, that is kinda, harsh is not it?"

"Harsh, you are one to talk.  You broke up with me because you found someone better than me."

Plagg looks at her as if she has grown horns or something. He can not figure out what she is going on about now. He does not recall her ever being this angry in the past. Perhaps, it was too soon for him to come back.  It was not like their parting ways was on good terms.

"Look, Tikki, I came to bring you this."

He places a small box on the balcony.  He remembers it is not only a holiday but her birthday as well.  He knows the present is something he should have given her years ago.

Maybe, she will hate it or refuse to take it.

He can not say he blames her. He was to blame for the sadness she held in her eyes right now. He was sure of it.

Meanwhile, inside at the party, "Has anyone seen Plagg?"

  "Pollen, take a hint."

"Wayzz, what is that supposed to mean?"

"Can not you see he still loves her?"

"By her, you mean Tikki?" She screams in anger.

"Yes, but that does not mean..."

"Hush, how dare you come to tell me that Plaggy has a crush on that stupid bug obsessed girl over me?"

"Well, it is true. Everyone can see it."

Wayzz thought everyone but you. He sighs.  Too bad, she never took an interest in me.

  Back to Tikki and Plagg...

   "Plagg, please just go!"

"Tikki, I c-can not just leave you like this."

"Oh, tell me why, stinky sock, you were the one to call it quits. "

    "Yeah so?"

"So, it never stopped you before you know."

"Too bad you are stuck with me this time."

"Plagg, do not say such things. You are with Pollen now as it should b-be." She had to bite her tongue to keep herself from confessing to him.

Marinette and Adrien see Plagg talking to Tikki. Both of them hope she will be careful not to let Plagg break her heart all over again.  It is obvious to them that their daughter never once stopped loving Plagg. Not even after he tore her heart in two.
