Sabine Dupain-Cheng is very ill.  She is on her death bed. She knows there is no chance for her recovery.  The doctors gave up hope on her months ago.  Sabine is a widow whose only desire is to see the happiness of her child.  Her dear, sweet child, Marinette.  So, with her last breath, she makes one last wish for Marinette!  

      Sabine wishes for her child to someday find love!  She knows her child may only be five now, but she will grow up into a  woman sometime in the future.  She shudders to think of her Marinette alone in the world forever.  She does not desire this for her.  

     She wishes for Marinette to find someone to love her for herself. She smiles as she thinks her wish may come true. She closes her eyes in death.
