March / Haiku: Late Bloomer

They bloom while I wait—

I'll be the fledgling blossom

That blooms as they fade.

A/N: This is more in line when it comes to haiku... It's more serious, and the kigo for this one is "fledgeling blossom", which is associated with early spring in Japan... This also reminds me of what Mulan's father said to her at the beginning of the movie... Loved that movie... ( ^_^ )
