Kendra's POV

I was getting dressed for work when my phone vibrated. There was a message but no ID on the screen. I wasn't sure if I should read it or not as it might be a prank call.

I opened the mail only to find pictures of Matilda and Liam cradled together on the floor in his flat. She had him under her like a joey in a pouch strapped to her in different positions that I can't comprehend.

One of the pictures showed her and him kissing. My first thought was to kill Liam but I knew he would never cheat on me or lie to my face so I zoomed in on the picture to get a closer look at the scene. Liam wouldn't do such a thing in his right mind, he wouldn't do such with Her!

Oh my goodness! This bitch drugged my man! That's the logical explanation for this crazy thing going on here. I'm going to kill her!

I thought about going over to Liam's first but I had to pay that bitch a visit at the office. I grabbed my bag and headed to Bates Enterprises.

The reception was empty when I walked in, Sasha the receptionist sat behind her desk with her eyes glued to the computer screen.

"Good morning Sasha" I stopped in front of her desk.

"Good morning miss wellington how may I help you?" she flashed her professional smile at me.

"Has Liam checked in for today?" I knew he might not have come in but I had to ask to be sure.

"Oh no, he hasn't been to the office yet. Do you want me to take a message for you?" her eyes glistened with flair.

"Ok thanks. Umm... how about Matilda? Is she up?"

"Yes, she came in earlier."

"Thanks I'll just go to her, I have a message for her."

"Sure." she returned back to the work on her screen.

I walked into the lift with anger flowing through my veins. I had to control myself while speaking with Sasha. But I would not be able to suppress my anger when I meet Matilda.

She sat at her desk with a phone pressed to her ear, wearing a huge grin as she talked into the receiver.

"Matilda!!!" I yelled.

"Hold on, I'll call you right back." she spoke to the caller.

"How dare you Matilda!" I tightened my fists and I tried to suppress my rage.

"How dare me what? To have sex with your man?" She smirked.

"Oh you damn well know what I'm talking about."

"I have no idea what you are talking about."

"How dare you drug Liam!"

Her expression changed in a heart beat from smiling to shock.

"What are you talking about?" she straightened.

"Oh you damn well know what I'm talking about you bitch!" I hit my fist hard on her desk, and turned towards the direction of the employees in their to employees turned to look at our direction.

It's a good thing Liam's office is separated from the rest of the employees so we were beyond earshot.

"This is an office kendra, if you don't mind your words then I'd have to call security."

"I just want to tell you to stay away from Liam, I trust him and not even a Jezebel like you is going to come between us. And the next time you try to sabotage him, do it to someone who doesn't know him better than you."

And with that I walked out on her not looking back.

I stormed out of the Office and headed straight to Liam's apartment. I got to his door and rang the door bell but there was no reply, I rang it again and still no reply. I immediately took out the spare key and opened the door, Liam was still on the floor naked just as he was in the pictures. I rushed up to him but he didn't budge.

"Liam! Liam! Honey please wake up! What has that she-devil done to you?"

Tears rolled down my cheeks as I looked at Liam just laying butt naked on the floor in all his masculinity. I took the blankets and wrapped them around him and placed his head on my thighs.

"Baby please wake up."

"K...k...ken...kennie?"

"Yes baby I'm here!"

I spoke with every strength in me to assure him of my presence.

"I...i...I'm c...c...cold"

I got up, took off all my clothes and went under the blanket. I hugged him, holding him closer to my heart.

"I'm never letting you go!"

I said and kissed him. I picked up my phone and dialled Mia's number

"Hey where are you?"

Mia's voice came in through the phone

"I Won't be able to make it to the office today, I'm calling in sick."

"What happened?"

I heard the concern and worry in her voice

"I'll tell you about it later but not now."

"Okay, do take care of yourself kendra."

"I will."

"Take care bestie, love you."

"Love you."

And I ended the call.

Now its time to call Sasha she needs to know that liam won't be able to make it today. I dialed her office line, it rang three times before she picked

"Bates enterprises how may I help you?"

"Hi Sasha it's Kendra."

"Oh hi Kendra, how may I help you?"

"I'm just calling to let you know that Liam won't be able to make it to the office today, he's really sick I think it's something that he ate."

"Ok, I wish him a steady recovery I'll be sure to forward his case to the management."

"Thank you so much Sasha"

"Anytime, bye."

And the line went dead.

I looked at liam, his brown hair was scattered and out of place.

What could Matilda have wanted? Why did she choose to do this to him? What is her end-point?

"K...ke...Kennie...p...please stay with me."

"I'm not going anywhere, I'll be here for as long as you need me. I'm here for you."

I kissed his forehead and hugged him tighter
