Aditya slid the photo across the desk "This is my wife" he looked up into Zoya's eyes "Beautiful isn't she"?

Her whole body immediately felt cold, the resemblance was uncanny "She, she looks exactly like" she couldn't finish her sentence "And her name was Zoya too"?

"Yes" he went to reach for the photo but she picked it up "A doppelganger maybe" he coughed "It's my fault she's dead"

"What"?

"That night, we argued, she left to stay at a hotel room, said she would travel to work from there, turns out she never even got there, she was pregnant, I wasn't ready for a kid, blamed it on her, said she had tricked me, I even said she was with me for money" he leant back "She was a feisty one, would have hit me if I crossed the line but she didn't even move, didn't speak a word, just left, she would have been an amazing mother, I wasn't ready to be a father" he looked to the side "You never think the last words you'll say to someone will be the words that they think of when they die"

Zoya bit into her lip and quickly wiped away a tear, she couldn't help but think of how coincidental it was that she was an exact replica of his dead wife, a part of her even wanted to believe he was being honest, maybe even believe that she was indeed his wife. But it wasn't possible, for instance she was born atleast a few years after Zoya would have been, Aditya was in his fourties and she in her thirties. But maybe this was a second chance for him, to say everything he had wanted to say. "Pretend I am her"

"I don't have to pretend" he muttered

"What would you say to her now, if you had the chance"?

Aditya huffed then crossed his arms "For all the times you asked me to profess my love and I said no, for all the times I hurt you and you forgave me" he paused "This is stupid, it" he stood up and massaged his forehead

Zoya stood up and walked so she was infront of him "It's not stupid" her voice was quieter now, confusing him with two different Zoya's wouldn't be helpful "What do you want to say, to me"?

His eyes ran over her body in admiration "You're always dressing in such a way and then you expect me to keep my hands off of you, it's cruel" he looked down at her hands and lifted one into his, he had missed how it felt to have her hand in his, it was the little things. "I think the greatest thing about you was that you taught me that it's better to hurt than to feel nothing at all, hurting for you was a pleasure i'm glad I had"

Looking up at him she gulped "Mr Hooda, I"

"Shh" he leant down and rested his forehead against hers "Just, stand with me"

"Wakey wakey" a guard slapped his hands together, waking Aditya from the most peaceful dream he had, had in years.

Sitting up he yawned "What"?

"It's therapy time, you have five minutes then she'll be here"

Zoya paused in her steps and strained her ears, was he singing? All she could hear was a throaty voice singing along in a harmonious tune "I feel like I've been locked up tight for a century of lonely nights, waiting for someone to release me you're licking your lips and blowing kisses my way but that don't mean I'm gonna give it away, baby, baby, baby" as she turned the corner she finally got to hear him sing louder "Ooh, my body's sayin' let's go, oh, but my heart is sayin' no if you wanna be with me baby there's a price to pay" he looked directly at her "I'm a genie in a bottle you gotta rub me the right way"

"Good morning" Zoya stepped inside and sat down

"Good morning indeed" he looked at her dressed in a bright blue shirt, golden earrings and grey trousers "The blue really does suit you" his words came out more like an appreciative growl

"Any reason you were singing that song in particular"?

"I was hoping you'd take the initiative and rub me the right way to get what you want" he winked

"Mr Hooda, that is very inappropriate, what happened to you being my model patient"?

"Haven't touched you have I" he bit out "Let a man live, you can't come in here looking like that and expect me to ignore all the things in my head" he slammed his hands on the table and leant over it "Haven't touched you properly in so long, haven't even looked at you properly, this session is about speaking my mind and the only damn thing on my mind is you, you don't have to like it but it's either you let me speak or I will be touching you, you can't have it both ways doc, fight this all you want but I promise you one thing, this whole town will run with blood if I lose you again, you understand that and we will get along nicely" sitting back he crossed his ankles "You don't have to hide how much that turned you on, I have that effect on people" he waved his hand nonchalantly

"Does your sex drive run your life"?

"No, it did run yours though" he gleamed with pride

"So, it's a facade then, something to hide who you are"?

"And who exactly am I to you toots"? He sneered distastefully at her accusation

"Well, you seem like a man of many talents and"

"Yes, you should see the things my tounge can do" he spoke so calmly, as if what he was saying was normal day to day conversation, she had a feeling that with him it was. He looked more younger now with his beard gone and his hair cut, it was clear the memory of his wife had brought him out of his shell again.

"And" she put pressure on the word, eyes wide "Like a man who fears nothing, which makes me wonder what it is you actually fear, because everyone fears something, you make a huge amount of inappropriate comments, it means you stay at the front of the stage, I think that's your fear Mr Hooda, you don't want to be forgotten, you're built to be remembered, am I close"? Zoya was aware her brutal analysis of him was unecessary, yet she was angry at the way he spoke like he owned her

"You have no idea who I am, so don't try that psych babble with me, you have no idea who you are sat with" the pupils of his eyes enlarged, as if he was demented

"Yes I do, you are the main attraction Mr Hooda, I am merely a person in the crowd and you live to entertain, the only issue with that is people get tired of the drama and they stop watching, for five whole years you kept yourself locked up, you didn't speak and now you are, why, because now people are looking again, now it is suddenly a huge thing that you are talking, you're back with a bang and you've just been waiting to explode, a temperamental force that was just begging to get out, now you want to fill my head with your version of reality and make me think i'm something special because I got you to talk, you be whoever you want to be but remember who you are sat in a room with because I" she pointed to herself "See right through you" slamming her hand on the table she breathed heavily

"You've got one little thing wrong" he snarled as he stood up "The reason I got off stage if you will, the reason I stayed alone is because the one person that mattered was gone and now the only person that mattered has forgotten who I am, so you think what you like buttercup but don't give yourself too much credit, I spoke again for her, all of this was for her because for me it is her who is centre stage, you can analyse me, pick apart my brain but there is one thing you will never understand, if I am the force that wishes to explode, she is the bang and as you have so nicely stated whenever I return, I return with a bang, there is no me without her" throwing the table over he loomed over her "It was never about anyone else, so don't you dare try and erase everything she is and everything she was because I will snap that little neck of yours and-" Aditya couldn't move, for a few minutes he had forgot that his Zoya was sat before him, he had became so protective over the memory of her he was even willing to ruin the real life version.

"She really means a lot to you huh" Zoya remained in her seat "I just wanted to see how much, I think it would be best if you sat down again and we worked through these feelings" she pointed to the seat

"When I imagined working up a sweat with you, this was not what I saw" sitting down again he looked over at her "I don't suppose you'd be a doll and scratch my back" he shook his cuffs "Can't do it myself"

She seemed to think on it for a second then stood up, placed her clipboard down and walked towards him, a second later he had pulled her into his lap "Mr Hooda, let go of-" she stopped when he turned his face toward hers, minty breath fanning over her face "Mr-"

"You may proceed" he winked and sat forward while keeping a tight hold on her waist "In the middle, bit more to the right, there we go"

Zoya could feel his muscles against her fingers, his breath on her neck and warm hand on her hip, rubbing her hand against his spine she tried to ignore the constant repeat cycle of his words in her head and their close proximity. "Done" finally being released she stood up "Don't grab me like that again"

"Do you enjoy telling me off or something, you're so highly strung anyone would think you aren't sexually satisfied" he rested his hand under his chin "Can he even get it up"?

"Not that it's any of your business, but in that department I am absolutely fine" and it was with those words that he saw red and lost it

Aditya couldn't bare to think of Carlos' hands on her body, or him even lying beside her. Pulling her to him he span her around and smashed her into the wall "Tell me that was just something to anger me, tell me he hasn't touched you like that, tell me he hasn't had you like that"?

"Please just let me go" she struggled in his hold "It's none of your business what happens in my private life"

"Tell me the truth Zoya, I need to know, I need to know he hasn't had you in that way"

"And if he has"?

"Then I failed in my job to keep you safe again" it was the calmest response he could offer but he felt the furthest thing from calm

Zoya tried to push his arms away but this only resulted in him tightening his hold "You're hurting me"

"Zoya I need to know and I need to know now" it hadn't even been something he had considered, now it all felt too horrible to be true

"He has"

Aditya moved his hands to her face "No, no you wouldn't do that to me, you wouldn't do it" he gripped one of her hands and moved it to his cheek "Tell me you're lying"

She had no idea why she suddenly wanted to understand why he found this so painful "Why do you care"? She whispered, eyes searching his "Why does it bother you so much"?

"Because" his jaw clenched "Just because I don't want to imagine you with someone else, because" he didn't want to push her into recalling something that made it dangerous for her, letting her go he swung the desk into the opposing wall "Get out"

"But-"

"I SAID OUT"

Does she leave?

Okay wait, before you answer. As you can see Zoya is quite different this time round, if she stays in the room think about the consequences for her and for someone else.
She has somewhere to be, but equally Aditya isn't in the best of places.
