Sera woke up with a headache, it was another dream. But this time the woman she saw was smaller, younger. She found a boy passed out and took care of him.

That's when it ended. Sera still didn't know who the woman really was... As to how she would find out, she didn't know.

Sera gripped her head. This whole mystery was messing with her head.

D.... W.....y

She shot up, "who was that? Amdusias?"

'That wasn't me. Are you alright?'

Sera's jaw clenched in slight fear, she looked around the room and saw nothing. She shook it off, "I-I guess it was just me..."

"Try again!"

"Spirit of sound and hatred, in the name of magoi bestow upon me the power to protect my comrades! Dwell within me, Amdusias!"

Nothing happened. Sera groaned and threw the spear at the floor in frustration. "I can't do it!" She yelled.

Sinbad rolled his eyes and smacked the top of her head, "stop doubting yourself! The more you do, the longer this will take! Now try again!"

Sera growled and grabbed her spear. She held it in front of her and closed her eyes. "Spirit of sound and hatred, in the name of magoi bestow upon me the power to protect my comrades! Dwell within me, Amdusias!"

Sweat beaded down her face as she concentrated. Her head slowly began to ache at the concentration and heat. Her knuckles were growing white at the tight grip she had on her spear and yet even after all that concentration, nothing happened.

"Why can't you do it?! Didn't I tell you to forget the past and start a new?!"

"I'M TRYING! I'm not frustrating you on purpose! Do you know how hard it to forget everything?! It's not as easy as it sounds! I'm not Djinn prodigy, unlike some people!" She walked over to him and grabbed his collar. Her eyes were turning black with red irises.

"And don't you ever tell me to forget." She threw him to the ground and walked off.

After that, Sera walked off from the company and went to explore through the Balbadd. Along the way, she spotted Masrur sleeping in a tree.

Her brows scrunched as she shook him away. He flinched and relaxed seeing that it was her. "Masrur, what are you doing here?" She asked.

He only stayed quiet and shivered. "Were you escaping your studies again?" She asked. He looked down at his lap. She giggled and sighed.

"I know you're restless, but you're not going to learn anything if you keep running off."

Masrur had a slightly guilty look on his face. "Well, I'm sure they wouldn't mind if you walked around with me. Come on."

Before they walked into the open, Masrur handed her a piece of cloth to wrap around her head to cover her ears. "Oh! Thank you! I almost forgot!"

She sighed as she walked through Balbadd alone. Masrur had gone back to the company after being spotted by Ja'far, so now she was alone.

It was boring until she spotted two boys, one with blonde and the other with purple hair, reaching for fruit on a stand. Sera walked over to the two, "are you two hungry?" She asked.

They both nodded frantically. Sera looked at both sides to see if anyone was looking and then handed them fruit. She put a finger to her lips as if saying to keep a secret.

They two boys laughed and ran off somewhere. She smiled as she placed a few gold coins on the stand, but her face fell as they went to the slums. A solemn expression graced her features as she walked back to the company.

She hoped those two would make something of themselves one day.
