Aphmau's P.O.V.

Ross and I have been up since early this morning. We have been working in a few plans to steal from one of the other thieves caves. They don't know where our base is but we know where their base is.

It took us ages to find and we have been working on it for months, even before we went on the trip with the treasure. We are still writing about all the things that happened on our trip. One day it will be a great story to tell new theirs that join. That is if there are any.

Ross says that he is bored and I agree. There is nothing to do except for plan for thieving which we have done for hours.

"We could walk to the castle and sneak in" I say "See if their defenders have gotten any higher since we left"

"That's a good idea, it's like killing two birds with one stone" Ross say "Seeing our friends and collecting information"

"Exactly, lets tell Katelyn where we are going" I say

We walk off to find Katelyn so she doesn't panic when she can't find us. Not that she usually panics but you never really know. She once got scared because Lucinda was testing out invisibility potions and the whole team used one except Katelyn. She thought we were all killed. When we turned back to normal she cried and hugged us all. It was really funny and sad at the same time.

We start walking to the castle after we have found Katelyn. The snow is still thick and falling so it's kind of hard to walk but we are used to it. We talk the whole way about where we are going to sneak in from.

I kind of want to go through the back entrance, but Ross wants us to go to the bards and scream 'I'm a jelly bean, do you like my yodelling' and run past the guards while they are confused. Of course I think this idea is ridiculous but it definitely sounds like something that Ross would come up with.

Eventually we decide on going through the side entrance. That way we don't have to yodel. I sometimes wonder what's going on in Ross' head. He is always saying something crazy. We finally arrive at the castle and begin climbing over the hedge walls.

We work together to climb through the castle walls and sneak past the guards. There doesn't look to be any new improvements to the defence force so we can just walk in taking them out easily. The defences in the front line aren't really strong.

But suddenly we hear footsteps and a sword is thrown next to us. I turn around and see a young woman with pink hair. She is Ivy, the head guard. I know her because she caught me once, but she didn't put me in the dungeon or anything, she just saw me and yelled at me.

"So we meet again thieves" she says

"Wow, you don't even know our names, we know yours Ivy" I say

"Well I don't learn the names of unworthy people" she fires back

"So you don't even know your own name" Ross says

I snicker at his comment and Ivy grabs another sword and points it at us. I take a few steps back because I really don't need a new scar. Suddenly we hear footsteps run behind us and Jeffory appears.

"Ivy let me take care of them" he yells

"What why?" She asks confused

"Because it's personal, now let me take care of them" Jeffory scowls

"Very well, but be quick" she says walking away

Jeffory turns to us and we all quickly run to the kitchen. Teony should be in the kitchen right now. Cooking or baking because that's what she loves for. Literally. When we come into the kitchen she jumps on Ross and I and hugs us.

I laugh at her and suddenly Shelby comes around the corner.

"Oh my gosh hi!" She says "Did you bring Red?"

"Really?" I giggle "I understand that you are in love and it's really cute but come on"

Teony is cooking some soup for dinner

while Shelby and Ross bring out a deck of card. Ross and Shelby are cousins. Shelby still had her parents but they were poor so they couldn't afford to adopt Ross. And he was happy with us anyway so it wasn't a sad thing really.

Jeffory starts playing with Shelby and Ross. They are playing a game called poker I think. I don't really remember how to play though and I find it boring anyway. I walk over to the pot of soup and start stirring it so Teony can cut the vegetables.

"Hey Jeffory, Ivy's the head guard right?" I ask

"Yes, rumour has it that she took down a thousand warriors in twenty minutes" he says

"Apparently she has a crush on Garroth" Shelby adds

"What? Really?" Ross says

"It's confusing, I wouldn't take her for the 'fall in love with a noble kind of girl'" I say

"Apparently she is always asking to watch him, and she is always staring at him" Teony say

"So that's her weakness?" I ask

"Well I guess in a way it's a weakness, but love can also be a strength, just look at Red and I" Shelby says just as she wins the game

After a while Ross and I head back to the cave to tell Katelyn that we found out about a possible weakness for Ivy. I know that love can sometimes make people strong to so we will need to test it out.

Ivy's P.O.V.

I knew Jeffory want going to take Aphmau to the dungeon. I followed them and they went to the kitchen. They spoke about how I was in love with Garroth. I am so totally not in love with him. Well maybe I am just a little bit. But that doesn't matter. I need to figure out a way to take care of Aphmau.
