Aphmau's P.O.V.

I wake up with a pounding in my head. I feel a lot of pain but I can't really remember why. All I remember is blacking out. Other than that everything is a blur. I hear footsteps walking towards me and I look up to see Lucinda.

"Lucinda? Where am I?" I ask her

"We are back home, how are you feeling?" She asks sitting on the bed beside me

"What happened?" I ask

"You where hit in the head by a slimeball. You've been in a coma for three months" she says

"WHAT?!" I yell shocked

"I'm kidding, it's been about five days" she says laughing

"Oh my Irene I'm going to kill you" I yell and jump on her, tickling her

"Oh my Irene, I'm sorry please stop!" Lucinda yells through laughter

I stop tickling her and sit back in my bed.

"So where are the nobles?" I ask realising that they wouldn't be in the their cave

"They went back to the castle, they still want to keep in contact but..." she says and trails off

"We are thieves and we can't be seen talking with them because it will ruin their reputation" I sigh

"Exactly, I know how hard this must be for you, you where close with them" she says hugging me

"I'm going to miss them" I reply

"Maybe you could talk to them but in secret. Being sneaky is a talent of yours" she teases

"Hmm yeah maybe, now I'm hungry. Let's go get something to eat" I smile

I get dressed quickly and I go to the dining room. Well it's more like a big room with a few tables and chairs but we call it the dining room anyway. It sounds really nice and professional.

I hear some word of the thieves going out and stealing a few things like food and clean water. I don't think much of it because it's our job. But for some reason I feel weird about hearing about them going out,

I think it just might be because I didn't get to go. I hope I haven't lost my thieving abilities. If I have then that would be horrible, what if I can't go out on any missions? What if I get kicked out? What if I can't continue working as a-

"Aphmau?" someone asks breaking my thoughts

I feel arms wrap around me and I look up to see Ross.

"I was so worried about you" he whispers

"Ross? Thank you" I say quickly hugging him back

"How are you feeling?" He asks

"Much better now, my head doesn't hurt as much" I smile

"Oh umm, I was caught by Laurance today" Ross tells me "He said that if you woke up today he will be waiting in the rose fields at midday. Although they are covered by snow now"

I giggle a bit at his joke and then say that I'm going to go.

"He looked a little bit disappointed about something so be careful" he states

"I will, thank you" I smile and head off to my room to get a jacket

*Time Skip To Midday*

Aphmau's P.O.V.

I am waiting in the Rose fields

when I hear a crunch of snow behind me. I turn to see Laurance and I smile. He doesn't smile back so I can tell something is wrong. I'm very confused as to what is going on. He seemed so happy on the boat.

"Is everything alright?" I ask him

"No" he says

"What's wrong?" I ask

"I thought you where nice but I think I was wrong" he says, his eyes look heat broken

"What are you talking about?" I ask

"Your friends, who we were so close with on the boat thieves this morning" he says

"Is that what this is about?" I ask "We are thieves. Without thieving we don't have anything to live by, the treasure has already been shared around the village so we have no means of money. I will die"

I feel tears starting to form in my eyes.

"Hey don't cry" he says and he touches my cheeks

"I just thought you might understand that this is my life, I love it of course, all my friends are with me" I say as tears start to fall

"I do understand, I'm sorry about how I was acting, I was really mean to you and I'm sorry" he says

He pulls me close to him and he presses his lips to mine. I stand there kissing him with tears coming out of my eyes and him holding me. We eventually pull away and he sits down pulling me with me.

I start to explain my life story to him. He seems to be really interested in what has actually happened to me. I explained that I don't want to have to steal to live, but the thrill, the rush and all the action is what I live for, I can't really explain it.

"That's really says and deep" he says commenting on my story

"I am really sorry for how disappointed you must be but I can't change my life" I sigh

He hugs me and kisses my forehead.

"I don't want you to change for me" he says "Maybe you could show me how you do those double flip thingies"

"I'll think about it" I giggle

We don't realise how long we have been out here until the sun starts to set.

"I need to go back to the cave, if I don't they'll get worried" I sigh

"I should be getting back to, I snuck out because I wanted to see you alone" he replies

"Goodbye" I say hugging him

I disappear through the trees and I make my way back to the cave. I am so tired and I was asleep for a few days. I just want to go to sleep. My heart still feels torn about what Laurance said. It's like I'm being forced in two directions.
