Nya's P.O.V.:

Knowing there was no other choice, I used my water power to spray the djinn, causing him to teleport himself to the other end of the room. That's when I held Jay up and we made a run for it.

With Jay's injury, we couldn't run very fast. We tried out best to limp through the caves to find our way out, but Jay was getting more and more worn out with every breath. I was finally able to loose him for a minute so I tucked Jay behind a rock.

"Nya I..." Jay started coughing.

"Shh, save your strength." I whispered. "It won't be long until he finds us."

"Nya just run. He only wants me." Jay said.

"Aha! I found you!" Nadakhan snuck up on us.

Before we had time to run, Nadakhan took out his whip and hit Jay with it. His head fell down and when it came back up, he had lightning in his eyes.

I backed away from him and he charged at me. I ran towards the wall and had to duck to keep him from hitting me. I ran until he had me cornered.

"Finish her." Nadakhan demanded.

Jay was about to finish me off when the our yin-yang medallion fell out of my pocket. I had an idea.

"I know you don't remember but you and I belong together." I picked up the medallion and showed it to Jay. "See this? You gave it to me. It means that we are yangs."

"Yangs?" He stopped in his tracks. Almost as if he remembered everything we've been through. "Nya?"

"Yes that's it. You have to remember." I coached him.

"I... I..." Jay backed off and held his head.

"No!" Nadakhan shouted. "She was using you remember? She never loved you."

Nadakhan tried to use his whip again, and while Jay kept taking the hits, he was somehow able to resist its power. As hard as he tried, Nadakhan had no control over him anymore.

"You. Don't. Control. Me!" Jay screamed.

As Jay broke free of Nadakhan's control, he fell to his knees. He was so beat up from Nadakhan's whip lashes. I knew he couldn't hold on much longer. His eyes were starting to close and his breathing slowed down to almost nothing. I had to do something, but how could I with Nadakhan breathing down my neck?

"Wake up Jay. You have to stay awake."

I gently slapped his cheek trying to get his eyes to stay open, but it was no use. In a few minutes, he would be gone.

"What a shame." Nadakhan croaked. "It would take a miracle to save him now."

I dried my tears and turned to face the djinn. "Please, I'll do anything you want just save him."

"I do want one thing..." He looked at the medallion in my hand. I knew what he wanted.

I knew what would happen if I went through with marrying him. He would be all powerful with unlimited magic, but if I didn't marry him, Jay wouldn't make it. I love him too much to let him die.

"Heal him and we have a deal." I told him.

"Ok, but once he is well, you can never see him again." He said.

I didn't want to, but Jay was fading fast and this was the only way to save him. I looked at Nadakhan and agreed to his demands. He used his magic to heal Jay of his injuries and his pulse slowly returned to normal.

I sighed with relief as I saw Jay's chest began to rise and fall steadily. His eyes stayed closed, but I was just relieved he was breathing once again.

"Will he wake up?" I asked Nadakhan.

"After the ceremony." He said. "I can't have him getting in the way this time."

"I never agreed to that." I crossed my arms.

"I healed him, but I can easily undo that." He threatened.

"Fine, whatever you want just keep him alive, please."

"I'll make the preparations."

He used his magic to put vengestone handcuffs on me and left the room. I knelt in front of Jay.

"Jay, I may never see you again after this, but at least you'll get to see tomorrow." I took off my medallion and put it in his hand. I closed his fingers around it. "Here, give it to someone who actually has a chance. I'll miss you Jay Walker."

I grabbed the envelope I kept from Jay's vows and took a pen from Jay's pocket. I wrote a message to the others and put it back.

"I'm doing this because I love you."

I gave him a kiss on the cheek and Nadakhan came back into the room.

"All set my beautiful bride." Nadakhan smiled.

"Alright, let's get this over with." I rolled my eyes.

Lloyd's P.O.V.:

Kira, Zane, Cole and I were running to the underground caves Nadakhan was using as his base. Luckily Cole remembered where it was.

Cole insisted on coming to save Jay with us, even though he was still recovering, he wanted to find Jay. Of course Kai wanted to come too, but his parents didn't want him to because of his leg.

Sure enough, the first thing we found was Jay laying unconscious against the cave wall.

"Jay!" Cole yelled.

Zane rushed up to him and took his vitals. "He's alive but he's in some kind of deep sleep."

I looked at Jay noticed a piece of paper sticking out of his pocket. I picked it up and opened it. It was a letter from Nya. I looked at it and read what was inside.

"This explains everything." I said allowed.

"What does it say?" Cole asked.

"Nadakhan is trying to marry Nya." I explained. "She wants us to stop the wedding."

"Eww. Isn't he like a thousand years old?" Kira asked.

"I guess she did it to save Jay's life." Pixal said.

"Come on guys, we have to stop this wedding." I said.

"I'll stay here in case Jay wakes up." Cole offered.

"Good idea. Let's go." I nodded.

We all started running to the place the note said. I just hope that we weren't too late.
