Dear Lauren,

Just a quick little rant because I have to wake up in 6 hours, but I'm so frustrated with this one person.

They were doing this thing where they'd write a story for their followers, and I figured, hey, why not? So they wrote something for me, and let's just say it was a little bit better than some of my earlier writing, which, let's be honest, are trash.

They called it a fanfic, but when they explained to me it was their own original story, they got sad when I told them it wasn't an actual fanfic then.

They also got kinda upset when I called one of their characters stupid in a good natured way because she kissed this guy a day after meeting him and falling head over heels for him. If you ask me, that was incredibly stupid and she must have otherworldly luck because the guy ended up liking her back despite only learning of each other's existence less than a day before.

Well, I figured I might as well write something for them in return and possibly help them get better at writing. But when they saw it, they said they didn't understand it.

I find that odd because I thought I made the message pretty clear. It's about a woman who loses both of her children and then her husband who makes her promise to live her life to the fullest as he laid on his deathbed. Decades later, she's still alive to see her two great grandchildren who were named after her lost children in honor of them, finally getting the family she's been denied. It's a sweet yet sad story about how when life seems at its worst, better times are yet to come. I got the idea for it soon after you passed away.

Yet they still don't get it.

Yes, it may not be the best writing you've ever seen. Yes, it's more of a Brothers Grimm style which they might have not read before. But the message is clear. I don't know how to make it more obvious. Maybe if I wrote it in bright neon letters, but I can't do that.

I give up at this point. I'll leave it as both of our stories are horrible and none of us appreciate the other's work.

Hopefully my new book will get a better reception. I'm already working on chapter 6.
