Neil woke up next morning with a heavy head.

He tried to recall last evening and then sat up with a jerk! Avni had seen him and riya together. He looked around and couldn't see her. Her side of the bed was not slept in. Neil panicked. He still couldn't recall the last evening completely and was afraid that avni had left the house. He could vaguely feel she had comforted him last night and put him to sleep. But he couldn't be sure of what she felt.

Neil got up in a hurry. He had to find avni before she left him. He had to...

And then suddenly his head swooned slightly. And he lost his step. Neil was trying to get a hold with his hand as he was falling but then someone held his hand gently and made him regain his balance.

Avni -"Neil! Dhyan se please. You're still not out of the effect of those drugs. It'll wear off in some more time. Till then please be slow and stop jumping about like a monkey!"(Take care please..)

Neil looked at Avni. And he look a breathe of relief.

Neil sat down on the bed.

"Avni. Tum Yahin ho.."(Youre here!)

It was a statement and not a question.

Avni was a little surprised as she said -"Achha to ab washroom Jane ke liye bhi janaab ki permission leni hogi kya!"(So I'll have to take your permission to goto washroom too!)

Neil realised she had not left for anywhere. He smiled slowly.

"No. Mujhe Laga.. I mean I was not sure ki Kal ke baad.."(I thought.. I was not sure that  after yesterday..)

Avni cut Neil in between as she said -"Kal jo bhi hua Neil. Uske liye only and only riya is to blame. She knew what she was doing. And for God's sake Neil she drugged you!! Agar tumko kuch ho jaata to!"(Whatever happened yesterday. Only riya is to be blamed for it...what if something had happened to u)

Neil looked up at Avni on hearing this. Her eyes held anger and concern at the same time. Neil held her hand and said -"thanks.. Tumko kaise Pata tha ki I've been drugged? I myself realised it quite late.."(How did you realize I'd been drugged)

Avni -"Neil..when I entered. Then you were in such a state. I mean that girl was all over you and it seemed like you were holding her and for a moment..Neil ek pal ke liye my world went dark. But after that initial second I looked at you and saw you holding your head."(For one second my world went black)

"I didn't know that she drugged you but I knew then that my Neil couldn't do this. Not to me. Not to anybody. There was only one explanation that you were not in your senses and were being forced. After that I gave riya a piece of my mind and sent her out of the house"

"Aur phir mein tumhare pass aayi Aur tab dekha ki really you were not well. I got worried about your health Neil and uske aage i didn't think anything else!"(And when i came to u then I saw you really were not well...beyond that I didn't think of anything)

Avni was standing and she started caressing Neil's head as she remembered his being disturbed last night due to thinking avni had misunderstood him !

Neil closed his eyes, relaxing with her touch.

Neil spoke slowly but Clearly -"tumko Zara sa bhi nahi laga ki I did this?"(You didn't realize even little bit that i might have done it actually with riya?)

Avni stopped caressing his hair. Then she dropped down to her feet and sat down on the floor. As neil was sitting on the bed, she put her head in Neil's lap. And then she spoke.

"Hamare beech Ka rishta thoda raw Hai Neil. But I trust you. I trust you more than myself. Agar tumpe trust nahi Karti kal to apne wajood se hi vishwas uth jaata.."(The relation between us is a little raw Neil..if u didn't trust you then I wouldn't trust my existence)

Neil smiled more. He was happy and relieved now! He decided to lighten the atmosphere by Cracking a joke.

Neil -"very good. Tab to main sach mein Aisa Kar sakta hoon. I can have many girl friends as my wifey will never think I can do Anything wrong!". (..then i can really do it!..)
He then smiled his silly smile but after a second realised avni had not reacted at that.

Neil -"hey wifey.. React hi nahi kiya. Acha I was kidding of course..". (..you didn't react!)
He lifted her face from his lap to have a look at it.

When avni looked up at Neil, she was troubled. Neil held her face and said -"bad joke. I miscalculated. Sorry wifey..".

Avni kept on lying at his feet with her face in his lap.

Avni -"its OK. I started thinking something else. From my childhood. Something to do with my mom and dad.."

Neil now pulled and lifted avni from where she was and made her sit beside him.

Neil -"baby. You're not ayesha mom and im not ashish Mehta. You need to get out of that past and complex avni ."

Avni nodded quietly. It was easy to say but hard for her to do that.

Neil looked at her -"bahut ziddi ho wifey. Aise nahi maanogi. Chalo let me prove we are a loving couple and im devoted to you .."(You're very rigid wifey. You won't agree like this. Ok let me..)

And then playfully Neil started kissing avni. He took her fingertips and kissed them. Then her hands and then her neck. Soon he kissed the tip of her nose and then her forehead and then one by one her cheeks.

Neil had started this as a joke but now both their heartbeats were increasing..

Neil took Avni's name and as she looked with half closed eyes at him, he kissed her on her lips. Neil continued kissing..and then he broke the kiss.

Neil now looked at Avni with something unreadable in his eyes and said -"Avni..I love you "

In response avni reached back to him and resumed their kiss. After a while their lips opened further as they explored each other more.

Avni was less inhibited now and pressed herself against Neil's chest.

Neil broke the kiss and looked darkly -"you're driving me mad sweetheart "

Before avni could reply he sealed her lips with another kiss that went on.
