The first place the gang went to was area zero. A natural environment with a lot of vegetation suitable for settlement. The heros were on the left side of the area.

"What is this place?"Sonic asked.

"This is area zero."Zero said."This used to be the place where a spaceship long ago crashed here which it became nothing but a desert. Now it's becoming a forest again."

"Ok, so where do we go to search for the next emerald?"Sonic asked Tails.

"Well....we have to go north. The emerald should be there. Tails said.

"We'll lets start moving."Mario said.

"Ok."Sonic said before dashing off at full speed.

Everyone followed, Zero dashed at a great speed which allowed him to almost catch up with Sonic. The others ran and they soon were in some sort of building. As they progressed, they destroyed some robots along the way and soon entered a room.

They went to a door and walked into another door. A loud noise pierced through their ears compelling them to cover it.

Zero opened the door and saw a familiar foe. It was "popla cocapetri" .

"You!, how are you back?"Zero asked.

"Kya!!, we'll of it isn't Zero, I'll deal with you later but right now I'm busy."

"Listen bird brain, we don't care, now get out of our way so we can look for the next emerald!"Sonic snapped.

"Kya!!, I'll teach you to come in here and insult me!!" The reploid bird snapped back.

The sound of a wolf howling spread across the room which brought everyone's attention.

"Your not having all the fun for yourself are you cocapetri?"a voice said.

The heros including cocapetri looked back to see who it is.

It was a blue robotic wolf holding ice shards in its hands. It was a reploid known as Fenri lunaedge and behind him were several other reploids. A turtle called heat Gemblen, a butterfly humanoid reploid called Sol titanion, a plant reploid called Noble mondrago, a squid reploid called Tech kraken, a pegasus reploid called Pegasolta Eclair, and the last one is a huge bull reploid called Mino Magnus.
Together, they are known as the "eight warriors."

Zero stood in shock to see them but something caught his and the hero's attention, on the left side of the room they saw another group of robots. Reploids known as the eight gentle judges.

"You haven't forgotten us have you Zero?" A lizard like reploid called Blazin Flizard said. From left to right other reploids were standing beside him giving Zero menacing looks with evil grin on their faces.

Another group of reploids also appeared and Zero saw they were the ones he defeated before a long time ago during the time Elpizo was the commander of the resistance base.

The last group of reploids soon came and the heros were surrounded by several dozen reploids.

Luigi started panicking and started shaking as he looked at all of them, some equipped with deadly weapons, some small, medium and really really big. Megaman looked sternly at all of them just incase one of them attacked them but to his suprise none of them even moved an inch. Sonic stood beside Mario and looked at them with alert eyes , he looked at Mario, he was worried though looking at all the frightening reploids left and right. He saw Tails was also staring at them, kepping his guard. We might not be able to win this fight, Sonic thought.

After a few seconds, Zero got the courage to speak."Well?....... how did all of you come back to life?"he asked.

" We're back all thanks to not one but two scientist."Fenri lunaedge said.

"Do you mean Dr.Weil is back?"Zero asked curiously.

"No,one called Dr.Robotnik and the other one called Dr.Wily."The reploid wolf said.

"What?!"Sonic and Megaman yelled in suprise.

"With them, they will do what lord Weil couldn't".Sol titanion said.

"And this time, we're not only targeting area Zero but this world too." Heat Gemblen said." Including another world Dr.Robotnik told us about.

"Please don't tell me he means our world."Sonic said to Mario.

"And this time you won't stop us Zero, I hope you're happy seeing us and your past foes "Tech kraken said.

All reploids laughed evilly as Mario,Sonic and Luigi looked around , taking a glance at each strong, creepy and terrifying robot.

"Well see you later, right now we have some things to take care of." Fenri lunaedge said.

And with that, each and every reploid except Zero teleported out of the giant room to various location in area Zero and beyond.

"Never knew you were that famous Zero".Sonic said.

"Famous?, they only know me because I've dealt with them multiple times."

"Do does this mean we have more work to do".Sonic asked scratching his ear.

"I'm afraid so, if we don't get rid of them, it'll make our emerald hunting more tedious than it already is."Zero replied.

"True, considering the fact that they're working for Eggman and Wily."Tails added.

"Alright ,Tails where's the location if the next emerald? "

"It's 50km south".Tails replied looking at the screen of the emerald radar.

"Zero...are you there?"Ciel said through the communicator.

"Yes, is something wrong?" The legendary reploid asked.

"Yes, please come immediately with the others."She said before cutting the signal.

"Guys, we need to go to the resistance base right now."

"Why?"Sonic asked. "We've barely even started our emerald hunt."

"No time to explain, Ciel contacted me saying we should come, I think something's wrong."

"Ok lets go,...........uh, how do we get there right away?Sonic asked trying to use it as an excuse to use his super speed to rush there.

"The communicators Ciel gave you comes with a transporter button, push the red button and you'll be in the base in no time.

Everybody pushed the button and within the blink of an eye, all of them teleported to the resistance base.
