At the resistance base.....................

The team appeared back into the base with Omega.

"What did you guys find?"Tails said coming into the scene." Is that Omega?"he said surprised.

"Yup."Sonic replied." Unfortunately we didn't find anything, except a fake emerald."

"A fake?"Tails said." How is that possible " He thought.

" It was Omega here who informed us about the emerald being fake."

"Hm.......Omega can you tell us how long that fake  emerald has been there?"Tails asked the big bulky advance robot.

Omega stood still, silently retrieving the information he had on the fake emerald. He analyzed it and mentioned the results." Fake emeralds- location temporal, been in recent area for an hour."

" Hm...interesting..if my suspicion is correct, that fake emerald was made by someone. Obviously.....Eggman.

"I  knew it!"Sonic exclaimed.

"He probably made it to make our search for the emeralds more tedious."

"Lucky for us, we have Omega, he'll just let us know whether an emerald is fake or not." Sonic said." Why don't you hook up Omega to a computer and mabye he'll tell us the real emeralds on the screen, bam! everything's easy.

"I'm afraid that doesn't work that way Sonic."Omega said." I can only determine whether a chaos emerald is fake unless I'm in close range. Making me a peripheral won't work.

" Great, it means we have to keep looking."Sonic said.

"Don't worry Sonic, we'll get the emeralds faster than you think." Zero said trying to lighten him up.

"Looking for the emeralds isn't our only problem, mecha Sonic is on the loose also competing in our emerald Hunt. "

"Did you say mecha Sonic?"Omega asked." Why worry and panic over that old piece of scrap, his body doesn't even fit to be remodelled."

Mario,Sonic,Megaman and Luigi just looked at each other than back at the confused Omega, wondering what's going on with all the odd looks.

"Omega, this Mecha Sonic is more powerful than you think. In fact this one's from a different time line from the future."

"Is that so, we'll in that case......which weapon should I use to effortlessly disintegrate him?" He said turning his hand to various advance weapons.

"You don't get it, that robot is dangerous, the one we fought years ago had enough power to destroy an entire island." Mario said.

"Oh...my circuits are tingling in fear."Omega said sarcastically."

"The fact that you posses advance weapons and an overated bulky body doesn't give you the right to act  arrogantly."Zero said with a serious expression on his face." Some robots are stronger than you, I hope you know that."

"Yeah, robots like who exactly?"

"What if I said me?"

"You?, you'd be lifeless on the floor before you could even touch me."

Zero took out his Z-saber."Is that a challenge? you arrogant fool."

"No robot with an oversize back scratcher is gonna stop me." Omega said mocking him.

"Here we go again."Luigi said.

" SHUT UP OMEGA!"

Omega looked at Sonic, with his regular but scary robotic look. He couldn't tell if Omega was angry due to his sudden outburst or just giving him a ' you're so dead look' but he was hoping for the latter.

To Sonic's amazement, Omega didn't speak. The red and black bulky robot just walked away to explore the rest of the base, scanning the area as he did so.

"What's wrong Omega?; cat got your tongue?"Megaman said mockingly" Oh that's right you don't have one."He laughed.

" Now's not the time Mega." Mario said.

"Hmph, I'm Suprised he didn't react after that." Zero said.

"Me too, I just wished he knew how deadly mecha sonic is now.

Suddenly the ceiling of the base broke as a huge hole now formed as pieces of the ceiling fell to the ground and something landed heavily to the ground, the smoke cleared revealing a blue robotic hedgehog with crimson red visors for eyes.

"Speak of the devil!" Megaman said in disbelief.

"Hahaha!"
