Aerlinniel POV

“Gandalf!" I half shout. I hear as he gets off his horse.

“Yes, it me my dear Aerlinniel." He says as I get of Elarinya. I run up to where his voice is coming from and give him a big hug.

“What are you doing here?" I ask him in disbelief. He had taught me a lot of the things I know, they were the things my parents could not teach me.

“I came looking for you. I thought that you had died all those years ago when the Dragon attacked. I had just heard a few years back that you were alive. I have been searching for you to see how you were doing." He answers. I just then notice how sad his voice is. I can tell that he is really grief-stricken.

“Well, I am doing good. I now live at the Woodland-Realm with king Thranduil and Prince Legolas. If I had known that you were looking for me, I would of stayed by the town or searched for you. I am so sorry, Gandalf." I apologise, putting my head down in shame because I made Gandalf feel hurt.

He gives a laugh and lifts my chin up. “You have nothing to be sorry for sweetheart. I am so very sorry about your parents, but I am glad you are doing good."

“Thank you Gandalf. I have missed you so much. it has been so long since I have last heard your voice. Are you going to be staying for a while?" I say to him.

“I want to but there is are some people I need to talk to. Strange things are happening. You need to be very careful when venturing out, ok Aerlinniel?" He warns me.

“Yes, Gandalf. I will be careful." I say and he gives me a hug.

“I will try to come see you again soon goodbye Aerlinniel." He says sadly as he gets back on his horse.

I give him the best smile I can. He turns his horse around and I listen as the thump of his horses hooves fade. It was so good to see him again. That sure made my day. To bad he had to leave in such a hurry. I wonder what the 'strange things that are happening' are. I just hope I will be able to see Gandalf again sometime soon.
