Ella sang while she did the chores in her step-family's house. The song reminded her of many things like her kind parents who did not deserve to die, and her friends specifically Ally. From washing the dishes to cleaning the floor, Ella had to do all the household work. This family treated Ella very badly. They mocked her, and always made her work more tedious than it already is.

The Tremaines had been sleeping for a while and Ella had completed her tasks when she noticed a few mice tugging the ends of her apron. They started talking and asked her to come with them. She knew it was risky, but they were able to persuade her. She followed them into a pumpkin patch, wearing a black cape and a red wig to hide her identity. When they reached their destination, they saw Absolem the caterpillar talking to a few others.

"You're finally here," Absolem exclaimed when he glanced at Ella. The mice called on their friend, the Dormouse, and they all pulled Ella towards him. Ella wanted to run, but she could not.

"You can send me to her if you want to," blurted Ella.

"Of course not! We need your help. Absolem will explain," spoke Tweedledum and Tweedledee.

Suddenly, a girl bumped into Ella causing both to fall. Tarrant Hightopp helped them stand up. The mystery girl looked a lot like an older version of someone familiar to Ella.

"Let me introduce you two. Alice, this is Izzy and she is wearing a wig. Ella, this is Ally and obviously you guys are older than the last time you met," said the Cheshire Cat while grinning like a mad man. Ella hugged Alice as tears spilled for her eyes, unwilling to let her go ever again.

Absolem cleared his throat before he began to speak.

"The Oraculum shows that two young ladies would have to slay the Jabberwocky on Frabjous day. Alice and Ella are the chosen ones. They need to kill the creature the day after tomorrow. If it is alive, the Red Queen would assume permanent control of Underland. We all must go to the White Queen's castle to plan for this crucial day," he announced to the small crowd. 

"Let's get started, shall we?" proposed Ella. 

After that, the group began their trip.
