After Alito shows Astrid around the school, he takes her around Heartland City for the rest of the day. Without Yuma.

She was happy as can be, hopping around and screaming at the top of her lungs with excitement.

Alito laughs at her but he doesn't hate that about her, not at all. He thought it was adorable.

Whenever she saw something she didn't know Alito explained what it was but most of the time he got her more confused, and she tilted her head. He adored that.

Late in the afternoon, they took a stop at the park and sat by a small pond.

Astrid sat with her knees in her chest and rocking with a smile on her face.

Alito laid on the ground beside her with his hands behind his head and legs crossed.

Astrid sighs happily. "Thanks for this amazing day, Alito." She said and looks down at him.

Alito looks up at her. "Your welcome, Astrid." He smiles at her.

Astrid giggles and looks back at the pond. She sighs and rested her head on her knees.

Alito smiled and watched her. He saw the wind blow her hair as she closed her eyes.

"It's so great here. I wish I could stay." Astrid says, turning her head on her knees so the side was resting on them instead.

Alito looked kind of shocked. He turned onto his side and looked at her her. "You're not staying in Heartland?"

Astrid shook her head, lifting her head up. "No. I want to travel. It's fun here, and I love it, but I want to see Earth."

"How are you going to do that? You don't have money do you?" Alito asked.

She tilted her head. "Money?"

Alito chuckles and shakes his head. "Nevermind." He tells her. "Not important."

Astrid shrugs it off and looks at the grass. She reaches for it and runs her fingers through the blades.

Alito watched her hand. "Well, I'm sure you'll find a way."

Astrid nods. "Yeah. I will." She smiles to herself.

Alito nods and looks at the sky. "It's getting dark. We should get you somewhere to stay."

Astrid looks up at him and nods. "Okay. Where?"

Alito didn't want to leave her somewhere on her own. She might get hurt or lost if she walked around.

"I guess with me. I have lots of space at home." He said.

Astrid nods with a big smile. "Okay!" She shouts an hopped to her feet.

Alito laughed and got to his feet and offered his hand. Astrid smiled and took his hand. He lead her to his house.

When he got to the front, Astrid was so excited to go inside. She was hopping up and down wanting to get in. Alito opened the door and swung the door open and walked her in.

Astrid looked around smiling. She never saw the inside of a house from Earth. Astrid let go of his hand and ran around as she looked. She took 20 minutes to finish looking around and flipping through his stuff. Which he didn't have much of.

After all that, she flopped on the floor, tired. "Your home is amazing."

Alito flopped onto the couch, out of breath from stopping her. At least he did right in taking her with him. She would have destroyed a hotel room.

"Yeah.....thanks." He pants.

Astrid giggles and sits up, propping herself up with her arms behind her. She smiles at him. "And thanks for letting me stay with you." She said kindly.

Alito smiled and nods, "No problem." He said, breathing normally now. He got up to his feet, "Follow me." He said.

He walked out of the room while Astrid scrambled to her feet and out the room to the stairs where he was. He headed upstairs, where she did not go yet, and she followed.

Alito got to the top and walked down a hall to a closed door. Astrid still behind him. He opened it and showed her the guest room. She walked up from behind and into the room, smiling.

She looked around quickly and turned to him and jumped a hug on him. "Thank you." She said, happy but quietly for once.

Alito smiled and hugged her back. "Your welcome."

They hug for a while longer before they let each other go. Then they go make dinner together.

That was a blast. They threw food at each other and fed one another as they cooked.

After dinner they watched TV and Alito was explaining stuff the whole time, so there wasn't a lot of watching.

Then after all that, Astrid was finally tired and falling asleep. Alito helped her up to bed and got her down and covered.

Astrid opened her eyes and looked up at him. "Thanks for the best day ever." She smiles at him.

Alito chuckled softly with a smile. "You helped with that."

Astrid giggled and rolled onto her side. "So did you."

Alito pat her head and walked to the door and closed it, leaving her to sleep. He went to his own bedroom and crawled into bed. He couldn't stop smiling from the day he's had. It truly was the best day ever.
