Aera's P.O.V

I was in a pretty sour mood by the time we got to the cafe, because of Namjoon's huffy breathing and sulking, and Jimin whispering complaints to me every other minute. I'd had enough by the time the cafe was in full view, so I ditched them and jogged up to the entrance.

"Hey, Aera!" Hoseok called from a booth in the corner, grinning as I stepped inside.

I have him a half-hearted smile and walked over to him. He sat alone, which surprised me. I wasn't used to seeing him without Taehyung. As I sat down he gave me a confused glance.

"Where's Namjoon?" He asked.

"Why?"

"Sorry, I thought he was coming with you." He shrugged.

"Seems like I was the only one who didn't know then." I frowned. "Yeah, we walked together. All of us."

Hoseok looked even more confused, but suddenly lit up as his eyes returned to the door.

"Guys! Over here!" He called.

I moved over for Jimin as they walked up. Namjoon slid in next to Hoseok. They avoided eye contact and were both silent. Their bitterness was so evident that Hoseok noticed. He and I shared a look.

"What's wrong?" He mouthed.

I rolled my eyes and shrugged in reply.

"When's Taehyung getting here?" I asked.

I wasn't actually very curious, but I was hoping to warm up the chilly mood.

"Oh, he's going to be a bit late," Hoseok told us. "Yoongi Hyung's car broke down, so he's picking him up."

I nodded and we fell silent again. Hoseok and I shifted uncomfortably as the other two glared at the table. He kept glancing back and forth between them.

"Guys...is something wrong-- Ah!" He winced, then turned to me with a shocked look.

I gave him an apologetic look but shook my head hard. It was too late though. The two had already glanced up, looking ready to explode.

"Actually, there is, apparently," Jimin began first to my surprise.

I groaned and placed a hand on my forehead. Hoseok rubbed his shin and looked up, surprised as well.

"Oh. Okay, um. Do you want to talk about it?" Hoseok asked awkwardly.

"I don't think that's such a good idea," I said quickly.

"No. I want to hear it. What is your problem, Jimin?" Namjoon snapped.

"I think we should all be asking you that," Jimin replied just as bitterly.

"Guys, seriously," I tried to step in.

Hoseok gave me a worried look, finally seeing how this was a bad decision.

"I think you know what my problem is," Namjoon said.

"No, actually, I don't. You've been acting like a child ever since I met you. Or are you always like this?" Jimin asked with mock curiosity.

"Okay," I said, dragging out the "o". "I think it's time to go, Jimin."

I really didn't want anything to start. Especially with all of this pent-up dislike for each other. When he didn't move to get up. I grabbed his arm.

"Jimin," I said through gritted teeth.

He sat still, glaring at Namjoon with his arms crossed.

"We are going," I said.

He was silent for a moment longer. But he finally looked away and stood.

"Fine. Let's go."

I let out a sigh of relief and stood up, ushering him out of the booth. With one last glance at Hoseok and Namjoon, I turned around and walked out, Jimin leading the way. When we got out of the cafe, we just started walking, eventually I ended up in front of him. But as soon as we had distanced ourselves from the cafe, I wheeled around to glare at him. He looked at me blankly.

"What?" He asked innocently.

"'What?'" I asked, incredulous. "What do you mean 'What?'?!"

He was silent, looking down at his black shoes.

"Is it so hard to just try and get along with him?" I asked.

"What's the point? I already know he doesn't like me. Why should I act like I like him?" He said bitterly.

"Because..." I grew quieter. "I don't know. I just want to be able to hang out with all of you at the same time. Not have some ongoing war whenever I hang out with the other."

"Why don't you ask him to get along with me then?" He asked.

"He's too stubborn. And prideful," I told Jimin. "And I think he dislikes you more than you dislike him."

"I don't know about that," Jimin said darkly.

"Fine. I won't ask you to get along anymore," I said sadly.

I supposed it was wrong to try and force people to hang out together. It was selfish of me, so I decided to just give up on them being friends. I would just have to deal with it.

"I'm going home," I said quietly.

I turned back around and started down the street again. Leaving Jimin in the fading sunlight. He didn't say anymore, so I picked up my pace with a small frown.

"Aera!" Jimin's voice pierced through the sudden silence. "Wait."

I turned around but didn't stop walking completely. He sighed and jogged up to me.

"Look...I'm..." He sighed again. "If it's really what you want..."

A smile slowly spread on my face.

"What? What do I want?" I asked jokingly.

He frowned at me.

"I'll..."

"What?"

"Try to get along with him," he mumbled quietly.

"What did you say?"

"I'll hang out with him." He was almost quieter.

"Sorry?"

"Aish! I'll try to get along with him!" He cried, exasperated.

"Really?" I grinned.

He looked at the ground, frowning slightly.

"Yeah. Okay? So just stop being sad."

I almost choked up at his sweet words.

"Aigo!" I ruffled his hair. "My dongsaeng is so cute!"

"Yah!" He pulled away, trying not to grin.

I laughed as we continued walking towards my house. Eventually, we grew silent again. It was almost completely dark as we walked by the park.

"I'm hungry," Jimin suddenly said. "We never ate anything."

I nodded.

"You're right...I guess you could come to my house," I suggested. "I'm sure my dad and grandpa won't mind."

He looked down.

"I don't think that's such a good idea," Jimin replied softly.

"Why not?" I asked.

But he was silent. I suddenly noticed he had stopped walking. Stopped moving. He was frozen. I paused with him, a bit frightened at his strange behavior.

"Jimin?" I whispered.

He slowly looked up, staring straight in front of us. I watched him carefully. His whole body was tense and still. His glare at Namjoon was nothing compared to the look he had on now. A chill ran down my spine as he softly spoke up.

"Jungkook."
